Bangalore Day's Best/double choices for the day

Hello friends,  
                   I would first like to wish everybody a very happy and prosperous Diwali,the Bangalore Winter season will kick start from tomorrow,here are my few picks from what seems like a interesting day of action ahead at the races. 

Day's Best:Rumour Has It 

First run in class III,this 3 yo filly showed out while it carried top weight and won over 1200 mts trip (its second win) during the Bangalore summer season,after that run the connections pitched it against the likes of Mariinsky and Shaktiroop over a 1400 mts trip,after being slowly off and prominent till bend faded to end last. Now in a relatively inferior company and with the same rider who had partnered her in both her wins and quite possibly her pet distance,has a bright chance to win here 

Double:[Priceless Ace-Jersey Shore] 

Priceless Ace from the stables of trainer S.Padmanaban has had only start in its career and that was over 1200 mts,covered some good ground to finish 2nd,now over this 1600 m trip and a change of jockey to S.John has a good chance to topple Mannat and clear its maiden status 

The Rajyotsava trophy (Gr.3) seems like a direct contest between the two youngsters barring any upset by the older lot,a lot has been said about Rock with u and it is in sublime form no doubt about it,but I feel Jersey Shore which ran third behind Southern Emperor in a race that was run in fast fraction may have it in him to topple the former,Jersey Shore is a horse with a good turn of foot and I feel he will like this trip of 1400 mts and in the hands of Sreekant who himself is on some good form oflate has a good chance to pull off this win 

Two other bets I would be having during the course of the day would be on 

Flashy Ways-A debutant but I have rather noticed that horses of Holy Roman Emperor being able to put their best foot forward on debut,having a top flight jockey aboard worth taking a chance bet 

Magnomical-a very close fourth during its last run at Mysore and on that account giving this horse another chance,this set also appears to be highly competitive and is also another chance bet for the day

    Sirocco you must know that ahndicapping is an art and there are many ways to handicap a race. Some follow speedrating beyers figures drf weight to length etc etc You seem to be someone who uses nothing and yet end up choosing winners.Handdicapping is an art and you are a rebel

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in grade with a chance in
