Bangalore 22/11/13

Hello friends
A card of 8 races is framed for the day, looks like a decent card with some good races to look forward to.....

Race no 1:A class IV race over 1200 mts

The first race of the day has many 3 yo's and the winner should emerge from one amongst them, going by the trackworks and form Seven of hearts,Aashikara and Ungooglable standout, with Glamour Boy and Dofantasy this race is wide open.

My choice for this race is Aashikara because it ran in a graded race on debut, then again raced once after that and went into absence for over 4 months, his recent trackworks are impressive and he gets Dashrath Singh aboard which is a positive switch from his last run,Ungooglable which is also working very well on the tracks and Seven of hearts who has finished twice second in its career spanning 4 starts may be his serious threats. But I feel he stands a good chance to win here

My choice:#3 Aashikara for win

Race no 2:For 2 yo maidens over 1200 mts

It is pretty evident that Bold Majesty which ran into the too good Jersey Bride on debut will be the favourite here, because he has a run benifit and also because his running style suggest that this trip would suit him. But then a good look at the others suggests that there are two horses that may require a closer look,

Star of destiny (Multidimensional-Psychic flame) and Sairani (Ace-Classical Act) the latter especially has put in some good work and with a top jockey like P.S.Chouhan in the saddle,I expect this filly to open her account with a victory

My choice:#8 Sairani For Win

Race no 3:A class V race over 1400 mts (4yo+)

WellKnown,Thunder and Mystic Lavenders all seem like the horses that can improve upon their last start just because they are now entrusted to better jockeys when compared to their last run and then there is Independence Day which finished second on its last start this very season a couple of weeks ago. Going by recent form it is Independence Day which appeals the most here, but then let me tell you there is another horse that is now enjoying a pretty good pull in weights in Many Wishes with Kiran Rai. A typical class at race and am going on an e/w on Many wishes as it has the weights in its favour and also a good apprentice on top

My choice:#4 Many Wishes for an e/w bet

Race no 4:A class III race over a mile

Another race where 3 yo should dictate the terms here,Regal Boast from the stables of Trainer Padmanaban poses a serious challenge to the top weighted horse Agostini. With Guts and Glory and Ace Empress Jessie to play along the confusion in my mind. This race should be a cracker, but then on all account Agostini which was incidentally my preferred choice during the classics is now getting prepared for the Bangalore classics, this race if anything will be a true test and as it is also a same class winner before its classic conquests makes me believe this horse is simply unbeatable here, yes even at this weight.

My Choice:#1 Agostini for win

Race no 5:A class II race over 1400 mts (4yo+)

One Time Magic which gets a positive switch in jockey along with last start winner Veyron and some horses with decent form such as Magnitude star and Stellar Ambition with Violent Storm knocking at the doors makes this a very open race. But what do I fancy here? None of the above

My fancy here is Valahak as it has simply seen superior company in the past and in one of its last runs at the higher class ran close to the invincible 7f horse Stormtracker, now in this lower class aided with some good preparations at the track should run a bold race.

My Choice:#1 Valahak for win

Race no 6:A class I race over a mile

Turf Striker is a horse which was once (during Bangalore summer season) a force to reckon with and has simply lost its way due to a setback, recent tracks look good and with tidy handicap and a top jockey can be a tough nut to crack,I would like to watch its performance and if it wins well done.

Thus I am trying to find a horse to back for place here, with so many interconnected horses of the same owner it is difficult to say which one they would try especially as Mountain Range is carrying a heavy impost and the most likely horse in Sun Kingdom has a claimer but still doesn't inspire confidence

Camorra the very well known front running horse who quite recently shocked a graded field at Hyderabad may find this distance a little bit sharp

Thus I believe that Ratham, which was once regarded as a classic hope but for its bleeding problems would be ready to finish in the top 3. It has the weights and a jockey in pretty good touch oflate to support its cause

My choice:#7 Ratham for Place

Race no 7:A race for horses in class IV (4yo+) over 1200

Again another open race here as Super Saloni the last start winner which is now getting another top jockey in the saddle with bottom weight and President's Rule and Nocturnal Hunter both consistent all through and with good saddle support can make it good here along with other better performed horses in Astonishing and Isle of fire is also in the fray, but One from a billion seems to be horse I have a gut feeling on,has now alarmingly gone down in the scales and has the jockey for the occasion at the saddle, thus a chance e/w chance for this horse

My choice:#11 One from a billion for Win

Race no 8:A race for class IV horses over 1400 mts

Absolute Red which  had crossed the line first and later the race being declared null and void is now here fancying its chance with the same jockey aboard

Then there is Mantra which has won over a 1100 mts race before and which now gets John in the saddle,a live threat to all even at this weight

Then there is Amazonas and Pearl Rewaed both having some good track form to go by and will be in contention

But the horse am fancying here is Crown Emperor, simply because it has a benifit of a good run over the shorter trip and its running style do suggest that it will do better over this trip

My choice:#9 Crown Emperor for Win

DAYS BEST:Agostini

Double:Aashikara-Valahak

Upsetter:One from a billion/Many wishes

Have a nice day,gamble responsibly
