Hello Friends,                      Carlton proved me and many other backers wrong and it was a scintillating run by Arrogant Approach to win the Speaker's Cup today ! This card has 9 races with the Gr.III Chief Minister's Cup as the feature of the day. Here is my analysis along with personal fancies for the day.  RACE NO 1:A class V race (5yo+) over 1200 mts  The winner should most probably be from the trio of Sayonne,Encourager and Magnonimous  Sayonne -has a positive switch in jockey and also equipment (shoes) also finished a decent fourth in its last run and is the horse to be beaten here  Encourager -is a winner over 1400 in its last start,retains the same jockey and is now running with the winner penalty,can it defy it and put another winning gallop is yet to be seen,as far as trackwork is concerned he is tracking well with a class II animal and on that count can hope to repeat here  Magnonimous however is also tracking well with an upper class animal,and is now seen sitt

  Hello Friends,                       Here comes Saturday and with it brings the Bangalore Summer Meeting's third day of racing,A card of 8 races has been framed for the day with  The Speakers Cup  as the feature of the card. Here is my bit of analysis and personal fancies  Race no 1:For 3 yo Maidens only over 1200 mts  Going by their form both  Rustic Sunrise  and  Rapid Advance  stand apart from the rest,the latter now gets a negative equipment and not active in the tracks whereas the former retains the same jockey and is tracking well too. Thus  Rustic Sunrise  is the horse to be beaten in this race  Also there is  Shubh Rahi  which is tracking well and seems to be prepared well,have to wait and see if it reproduces its track form Also there is  Pride N Glory  which is not too active in tracks but cannot be totally neglected  Rustic Sunrise  has the form and condition but in my opinion if at all there is a danger it should come from  Allez Royale  who has had a solitary run and

The Bangalore Summer Meeting 2014 is just a day away (hopefully) and is one of the most highly contested season in the country ! As it is where top trainers from across the country brings their wards,competition naturally adds up to the season. The highlight of the season is that there will be graded race every week,with the KINGFISHER BANGALORE DERBY GR.1 being the most coveted prize of the summer. It will be complimented well by the COLTS AND FILLES CHAMPIONSHIPS  respectively. Thus the classic crop will have its first real test and will throw up superstars as the season progresses. Also for the older horses there will be a lot to play for, The Maharaja's Cup this year will be interesting is my guess and then there is a Bangalore St.Leger too. Not to forget the derby weekend will have its own share of glamour and excitement.
