Hello friends,                  I am going to follow only three horses for the day,today's card is long and there is Kallu Mama  race in which one can take a break too.  In the first race of the day Riverdale looks to be winner to me, Ein Ein Ein no doubt is a top contender runs for the first time this season,whereas the former had summering at Bangalore and ran a forward race in a million over 1400 mts where its stablemate Vocation scored a victory and now with a drop in trip and a change in rider to Suraj has very bright chances to score here  In the fourth race of the day Chal bhai chal,Ocean side and Aegis  seem like the top three contenders,of the three Aegis is now placed better than Chal bhai Chal and also gets P.S.Chouhan on the saddle, ocean side seems to be the only danger to Aegis and if odds are good Aegis  should be a good bet  In the sixth race of the day, Camacho speed Grenada cerimonius and Merry maid look like the possible contenders,the first named horse is quite

Hello Friends,                      A card of 9 races have been framed with the graded  Treptin Fillies and Mares Stakes  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:Class IV race (4yo) 1200 mts  Four debutants take part in the opener of the day in a field of eleven.  Of the horses that have run before  Sombero  which has two mock races in its preparation of which a good mock race (4/7) behind  Amelia  and  Dark Knight  who has a run during the last Mumbai season and was entered and withdrawn earlier this season seem good.  Zille Ilahi  makes its debut here,this runner has some good tracks to go by and will be ridden by  Malcolm Kharadi  and another debutant which catches the eye here is  Tanusha  which is seemingly working well on the tracks with the same jockey who is riding this horse  Thus I am inclined to take a chance on  Tanusha  which makes its debut here and seems to be well-prepared for a winning debut  My choice:#8 Tanusha (win)  Race no 2:Race for maiden 3yo (1600 m)  Fleet

Hello Friends,                        A seven race card has been framed with THE NIZAM's GOLD CUP  as the premier event of the day.  Race No 1:Maiden 3 yo race (1200 m)  Globetrotter after failing to win in its four starts despite being close to the winner in all of them,ran a fast finishing second on its last run,now with a change of rider to Suraj Narredu chances look rosy  Natalia which ran fourth on debut over 1200 mts,now runs first time this season,based on its running style and a decent rider aboard stands a good chance here  Thus in my opinion Globetrotter is the horse to beat and even though Natalia seems good it lacks a benifit of a run,thus Globetrotter which has a positive switch in jockey,run benifit this season and extended distance with respect to its last run,should score in this set  My Choice:#1 Globetrotter for Win  Race no 2:1200 mts race for horses rated upto 50 (3yo+)  Aventus won over 1100 mts on its second start to shed its maiden status in a good manner,fir

Hello Friends,                        A seven card event has been framed for the day with the CalcuttaJuvenile Sprint being the feature of the day  Race No 1:Class V race (1100m)  Grey Meteor ran fourth on its first appearence on the track in a handicap race,now gets a very positive switch in jockey to S.John Tough One after running second to Roman Centurion now takes a drop in distance by 100 mts,change in jockey to Sandeep Rajput, led for sometime and beaten in the Straight Piaffe which ran third in its run which was during Cal winter races,now takes a drop in class and has only one trackwork visible,but on its has a decent chance in this set  Sreeyantra  which also has very good form during winter season,is working well on the tracks,has jockey P.S.Chouhan in the saddle  Baskerville which ran an eye-catching third on its last run,now gets a change of jockey to Mahesh . Trackworks are good.  Thus friends a very close race this, Piaffe and Sreeyantra  both have good winter form to go

Hello friends,                       First of all wish you all a very Happy Independence Day and the card here has 8 races with a class IV race with a million rupees as stake money as the feature of the day.  Race no 1:Class V race over a mile  A four horse field and there lies the danger, Viva Zapata  gets a decent jockey on top, Adam's Prince  ran a very good race on its second to Samay Balwan last time round and based on that run chances look rosy. Eye of the storm also gets a good jockey for the first time and shows that there is intent,going by its last spurt looks like the one that can pull it off here, Light my way which ran third carrying third during its last run over this distance carrying top weight had two more runs at other distances,now runs here with bottom weight thanks to allowance jockey on top has the ability to surprise all here. Hello Friends,                        The classics will start rolling in the next few days at Hyderabad,Mysore and Calcutta with the Pund derby mid-October,Equine superstars will be made and there will be some super flops. With Murioi and Starry Eyes not living upto expectations and the ride of Alandaiar and Amelia  from the western circuit are see as signs there is no super horse yet.Will the western Indian trained horse continue to raid of will there be emergence of new superstars,time will tell but there is lot of excitement,in a couple of weeks from now the classics will take centerstage and it is only matter of time before we see new champions in all their glory.I am eagerly lookin forward to the classics not as a punter but as a lover of the sport and in anticipation of seeing another In the spotlight . Hello friends,                  A card of eight races has been framed,with The F.D.Wadia Trophy Gr.2 as the feature event of the day. One can expect a competitive afternoon at Pune Race no 1:A class V race (1800 mts)  In a five horse field,one can expect anything to happen.On previous running and relative form the top two horses Blue Knight and Perfect strength  appeal,and I believe the winner should come from one of them  Allegiance who has run previously over sprints now gets a step up in distance,remains a mystery to me Of the two horses, Blue knight has earlier won last season while going over the same distance where as Perfect strength had finished fourth in one of its start over this trip,in its last start during Mumabi season finished second over 2000 mts  I am more inclined towards Perfect strength as it seems to be extensively prepared in the track and will go with it, Blue knight has the advantage of a run in this track this season and will be one to beat My choice:#2 Perfect

Hello friends,                     A card of eight races has been framed for the day with The Eve Champion Trophy (Gr.3) as the feature event of the day Race no 1: Class v (1400 mts)  The day kick starts with a race for horses in the lowest class, Sydney  which had a feel of the track when it ran fifth to Indiantouch ,now switches form maiden to open class V company,its run was forward last time and its tracks with EMERGING STAR   which is a class II animal,thus looks like a good contender here  Miracle of mercy which had a run earlier this season where in it finished fourth (2 lengths) behind the winner,now goes up in trip with the same jockey aboard,looking at its running style on its previous run the extended distance may suit and is as such a contender here Showers of heaven which had earlier run second over the same trip this season was penalised 3 points for that effort and goes out with the same jockey in A.Sandesh. Moonraker who also has the benifit of a run over a shorter trip

Hello friends,                      Archibaldo proved every doubter including yours truly wrong by maintaining good form through out the Bangalore summer season. The horse along with its regular partner in John proved to be one of the greatest success stories of the Bangalore season. In a sport where mystery is the name of the game my vote as a fan of the sport is to Archibaldo  as the horse of the season. Kudos to trainer Prassanna Kumar for bringing back the horse to top condition and doing well at graded races,almost had the better of Stormtracker on the derby day as well at 1400  What do you think fellow readers?

Race no 1:A class V race over 1000 mts  Stylish strokes  is a winner over this same trip and class at Mumbai a couple of runs ago,then had two runs with claimers aboard and now gets a switch in jockey to  Vaibhav Midnight lady  has a run here in this track,before that in the Mumbai season,its secon to  twittilator  was a notable one Wild imagination  which ran third to  Domain Anna  a couple of weeks ago,now goes over the same trip with the same jockey astride  Victorious cause  which incidentally is a winner over the same distance in the same class in its last run,now runs after a 9 point penalty,switch in jockey to  Shelar midnight wind  which ran third to  suntan beauty  on its previous run,now goes out with the change in jockey to  Vivek ,as such its winter form is not good Rising angel  which has had the feel of track,a couple of time
