The Indian Champion Cup (Gr.I)

Hello Friends,
                      The Indian Champions Trophy has a good decent field with multiple graded winners in the fray which makes it a good race to start off the next four days of hectic racing......... 

SNOWDRIFT,the winner of the Calcutta winter derby 2014 faced older horses which is akin to the Eclipse Stakes run both in Britain and India and faced defeat,now that it is in blazing form on its return to Calcutta after a brief stint at Bangalore,is the main contender for this race 

 OCEANANDBEYOND which is the winner last year has been on the slump since,however as terms are in favour one cannot ignore it 

Although there are classic winners in the fray in malpensa and Striking one has to take a look at the multiple graded winner in Circle of bliss who but for her last run was in a good vein of form and now with that run behind her back in this centre and a change in jockey is the one that can topple the local hero and as such is my personal fancy in this race 

MY CHOICE:Circle Of Bliss Win

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? Mumbai Thursday races 12/12/13 a Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends,                       The mid-week racing card at Mumbai consists a compact card of 7 races,here is my analysis and selections for the day  Race no 1:Class V race over 1200 mts  Ancient Odyssey  which won its last start in the same class over the same distance now gets a positive switch in rider,as most of the field is out of relative form,this horse has a fair chance to repeat here Polar Zone  which has earlier shown some spark is now getting a guidance from a top jockey,has run decently in its previous runs too,no tracks are seen and that is my only worry  But one horse which caught the eye during its last run is  SHOWERS OF HEAVEN, it had a forward run in a large field with Dharmendar on top and was calling the shots until they crossed the 200 mts marker over a 7f trip,now with a benifit of that run and a switch to jockey,shapes as a decent chance bet for the day  MY CHOICE:#...
