Bangalore Friday 09/01/14 Anallysis and Selections

Hello Friends, 

                     Mumbai on Thursday was not too good for the pocket,However looking ahead the Fridays card has 9 races and here is my analysis,Personal choices and Investment plans.... 

RACE 1:A class V race over 1400 mts 

The opener of the day which is a race for horses in the lowest class looks quite open,take Angela for example which has finished close to the winner in both its outings and as such in this set gets a very good chance 

Then there is Zulu Fantasy who has also been consistent in its last two outings and despite the top weight is the main contender in this race,even though there is no apparent positive switch in jockey support in Reva,it has also been consistent enough to warrant attention 

Take the case of Liquid Asset which is having problems of having a level jump,has been given a mock race after the last start and as such if,a big If that it takes a good jump,it has more than a good chance of doing well,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#8 Liquid Asset Win 

RACE 2:For 3 yo maidens over 1200 mts 

Of the horses who have made the start,the progeny of ARAZAN in SURNATUREL is the one that appeals foremost in this race 

However when there are these horses which seem to be bred well,having good preperations and top jockeys in the saddle in Able Friend,What A Nice Man and Sheer Luck in the fray it makes for quite a contest 

Although there is no doubt that Able Friend is showing out on the tracks,it is Sheer Luck that has the bloodlines backed by decent preperation that catches my eye,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#11 Sheer Luck Win 

RACE 3:A class IV race over 1400 mts 

Incidentally all the horses accepted to run in this race are 4 yo's

Everest which Impressed in its last run whilst finished a good second to the Mumbai import Sheer Elation is the horse that strikes right away in this race,with the same jockey doing duty again it is the main contender in this race 

Then there is Shivalik Eyes,whose last run which was after its summer campaign is best ignored. This horse has good formlines and although not tracked after its last run seems to be the main challenger here 

But then there is Amanda who could be termed as a relative outsider in this set and She's Stunning who has a double positive of equipment and shoes 

My personal fancy is She's Stunning as there is the double indication plus a top jockey sitting at low weights also adds to its chances.... 

My Choice:#10 Shes Stunning Win 

RACE 4:A class V race over 1400 mts 

On basis of its last run,Tuscano is the main contender in this race,the drop in distance and the retainment of the same jockey should act in its favour 

The last start winner in Mister Grey should not be taken lightly too,having won fighting in its last start if it retains the form then it will become a serious contender in this race 

Talentburst has scope for improvement,coming out from a break this horse should do well,however bears watching in this race 

Although there are horses like Jeyems Spirit and You're Rocking in the fray,who by the virtue of their current form appal

It is One to Note who has been tracking well since the last start and also has a mighty switch in jockeyship,and as such is my personal fancy in this race 

My Choice:#9 One to Note Win 

RACE 5:A class III race over 1200 mts 

Nimfea who is known to be speedy customer ran a dismal race last run,there is a mystery Atleast to me regarding her last run and I consider her as a contender in this race 

Then there are four horses in Rare and Ellusive (Last run in a terms race was very good Behing Pippin,and as such comes straight into contention) New Emperor (Has finished a good second over the same trip in a juvenile million,after having a run benifit cannot be ruled out) Atmos (Whose victory in its last start was too good to the eye and on promotion cannot be taken lightly more so because it has retained PSC in the saddle) and Super Queen (Who won remarkably well on debut,then had two not so-good runs is taking a chance here) 

This race according to me is wide open,my personal fancy is based upon the debut performance of Super Queen,true that both her subsequent runs were not good but two factors 

1)Step down in trip which is closer to her winning trip on debut and 

2)Latest track spurts

is quite an indication that the horse can do well here more so with an aspiring claimer assigned to ride 

My Choice:#9 Super Queen Win 

RACE 6:A class II race over 1400 mts 

Another race which is 'open' in nature,say there are contenders in Next Move,Evraz,Magnitude Star,Pippin and Pentagram along with Real Steel 

Evraz which sees the return of Imran Chisty has been tracking very well,was not disgraced in its last start and as such is the horse to look out for in this race 

Its own stablemate with a change in saddle support to Trevor Patel also needs to taken with more seriousness in this race,last run was refer enough and seems like improving on that effort 

The two youngsters namely Pippin and Pentagram who incidentally are coming out of the same race here in my opinion have fair chances.... There are two schools of thought regarding this renewal however I feel that Pentagram who has the weights in its favour should run a good race,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#9 Pentagram Win 

RACE 7:For horses in class IV over 1200 mts (5yo+) 

The competitiveness in this race is a matter of hope than anything else..... 

Although there are many runners in the fray,say Quarter Cask,Blues Legend and Refreshed in the fray,it is the presence rather sheer presence of Power of time whose form along with positive equipment and jockey makes it the one to be beaten,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#3 Power of time win 

RACE 8:A class III race over 1400 mts (5yo+) 

Again another 'competitive' race in the offing 

There are many horses with decent form coming into this race,say Arun a last start winner along with All Proof 

Then there are the likes of One of A Kind who has won well in the lower class and then placed again in this class now looking for a clear cut victory along with Jackie Oh who was a good winner on debut yet cannot find a victory again but now has services of a top jockey along with desirable form coming into this race 

Kingston Town however has the change in equipment and jockey,one can be termed as 'positive' is a winner over the same trip while competing with youngsters is an advantage and based on decent form is my choice in this open affair 

My Choice:#2 Kingston Town Win 

RACE 9:For class IV horses over 1400 mts 

Wild Wild Angels who did well in its last start to win well along with Hello Boss another winner in this very class are the main contenders in this race 

Although age is against them there are the likes of Viva Diva and Lucky Thirteen who can be termed as surprise packages in this race 

However,with the preperation seeking too good along with the positive switch in jockey it is my personal view that Youre Ashwashakti is the horse that has a very good chance of winning here 

My Choice:#5 Youre Ashwashakti Win
