Mumbai Thursday 08/01/15 Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends, 

                    Thursdays card at Mumbai consists of 9 races,here is my analysis followed by Personal fancies and Investment plans..... 

RACE 1:A class V race over 1000 mts 

BLEND OF ELEGANCE seems like the formidable contender in this race,primarily because she is one of the two 4yo's in the fray,also that she is having a positive switch in jockey to Trevor,on the flip side however she is a filly carrying top weight and is sporting Blinkers which may or may not keep her in good stead

Of the other horses,Malzie (Who had a good penultimate run and a run benifit) Laurus Tikati (Having decent form coming into this race and can be the minor surprise if any) Donata (who has a switch in jockey and a good hat jump in its prep) and Ice Gate (who has a decent run on its back with a change in jocky to a decent claimer) 

In my opinion,Ice Gate who is now well placed on demotion and to add to its advantage a claimer on top backed by a decent last run is the one that has a good chance in this race,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#2 Ice Gate Win 

RACE 2:A class IV race over 1400 mts 

TEMPEST,ADAMS WING,TOOFAN,REMARKABLES   and MIGHTY SPLENDOUR are the horses that catch my attention in this race..... 

Without going into much details of the contenders, I feel that the horse that has a good deal of chance doing well here is the maiden Tempest,it is now being partnered by YSS for the third time in a row and its last run over 6f in a big field was quite suggestive. Now over this trip it has a good chance 

Its main challenge should possibly come from Remarkables (who gets a change in jockey and has been prepared decently) and TOOFAN (who can be expected to do well based on its preperation and also the fact that it is this horses second lifetime start) 

My Choice:#2 Tempest Win 

Race 3:A class III race over 2000 mts 

Square Moon had won two starts before going down in its last start,the fact that it gets its winning jockey back in the saddle is to be noted 

Then there is the duo of Dixie Delight and Snowing both of whom have showed the liking for the trip and have matched strides with some good horses,the latter has an edge among the two 

Then there is STORMING HOME and ILLIDAN from the same stable 

STORMING HOME is now prepared well,from top stables and with good decent form is my personal fancy for this race 

My Choice:#4 Storming Home Win 

RACE 4:A class II race over 1400 mts 

Two horses in this race are coming into it after having run in classics and they are Shaania and Your Royal Majesty 

Both of them have faced off each other earlier in the season,although the latter seems to be placed better on the scales the former from top stables is prepared decently and is a formidable contender in this race

Of the older horses,Desert Wings,Pepe Senior and Remember Me are the ones that can trouble the youngsters 

Remember Me is also well placed,has a switch in saddle support and has a fair chance to succeed 

However it is Desert Wings,who also gets a switch in jockey and has been subject to some decent preperation that catches the eye,my personal fancy for this race 

My Choice:#1 Desert Wings Win 

RACE 5:A class IV race over 1000 mts 

This race has 18 runners vying for the top spot and as such many factors will decide the race,and it will be a case of good initial speed combined with form and intent that will decide the winner here 

Nevertheless,there are horses like Yardstick,QUATRO,Star,Eternal Royalty and Sweet As Honey that can be termed as possible contenders in this race 

Eternal Royalty has ace jockey in the saddle,has been speedy in its trial spurts and as such inspite of the draw in the outer half,this horse is my personal fancy in this race 

My Choice:#11 Eternal Royalty Win

RACE 6:Race for maiden 3 yo over 1200 mts 

Of the horses who have already had a start in their respective careers,Bay Of Secrets,Another Conquest and Q Ed are the three horses that seems like holding a definite advantage 

The pedigree of Sugar Bay and Simona also look pretty interesting..... 

It is generally believed that horses with a run advantage have an upper hand,however the breeding and the decent preperation of Sugar Bay makes her a choice more on hope than anything else 

My Choice:#12 Sugar Bay Win 

RACE 7:A class III race over 1000 mts 

RAVELLO who is consistently hitting the board is the one they all have to beat in this race,add to its consistency it also has ace jockey in the saddle 

Hudson Hawk who won its last start in a good manner and Dreamz Unlimited who is eyeing for a hat-trick are two other horses who come into this with a thick vein of form,they cannot be ruled out here 

Then there is the presence of Ainra who is a course and distance winner over this trip and is the dangerous one of the older lot 

However,the case of Kazuri is interesting,although say a horse like Flanker seems like well positioned in scales,the last run of Kazuri cannot be taken as the sole criterion to rule it out. This horse came back after a lay off to win over the same distance pretty well at Pune,with a run benifit and the stable deciding to pitch in again within a week,I hope that this horse runs a game race,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#2 Kazuri Win 

RACE 8:For class IV horses over 1400 mts 

Again another race where the field is large,hoping that the winner would be from this trio of Troppa Bella,Act of Valour and Edudaro 

Troppa Bella is coming into this race with a dismal show against horses of greater class,however here the filly stands a fair chance to win again 

Then there is Act of Valour who seems to be in great form oflate,still a maiden this horse ran a good 2nd in its last start and with the change in jockey to the man who is leading the statistics now,one can hope for an Improved performance 

And then there is the failed favourite in Edudaro,this horse has been rested after the defeat and has been prepared decently. The choice of jockey is a point to ponder but however I feel that this horse has a good chance to shed its maiden tag and as such is my personal fancy 

My Choice:#10 Edudaro Win 

RACE 9:Race for class IV horses over 1000 mts 

Again another race where there is more horses taking part over a sprint and a multiple of factors have to come into play in picking a winner here 

There are horses who have run behind very good company but are returning to the track after 400 days in day Blavatsky

Trending is a 5 yo horse who is still a maiden but has some decent performers and will have its fair share of support and a fair chance to land the spoils 

Then there is Desert Rage who ran a good place last time out with the same jockey and now is the main contender in this race 

Then there is Quizical who had earlier on in its career showed some promise yet fizzled out,now with a middle draw and the same retained jockey of the owner Im hoping that this horse puts its best foot forward,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#5 Quizical Win/Place 

INVESTMENT PLAN

SUGAR BAY WIN 1000 

KAZURI WIN 1500 

EDUDARO WIN 1500
