B'lore 16/01/15 Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends,
Three days of action packed racing in Bangalore and Mumbai awaits us this week, here is my analysis and personal fancies for the B'lore card on Friday

Race 1:For class IV horses over 1200 mts (6yo+)

NOTE:WHIPS NOT ALLOWED

Better Than Ever has a positive change in equipment coming into this race, has been trusted to the claimer again and has put up a decent spurt thus is one of the main contenders in this race

Imperial Verse has David Allan in the saddle, last run was decent enough and now with the change in saddle support and  a run benifit cannot be overlooked in this race

Then there is the duo of Union Jack who also has a run benefit this season and a very decent run that, thus it has to be taken seriously here and Fortunate One has been on the up and is a formidable contender in this race

The likes of Ice Pick Willie and Midtown Delight add more competitiveness to this race

In my view,Union Jack,Better Than Ever and Fortunate One hold good chances here,my choice of the trio is Union Jack who seems to be well placed on the scales, has a decent last run and gets a change in jockey who partners well with this trainer.....

My Choice:#5 Union Jack Win

RACE 2:A class v race over 1400 mts (5yo+)

Based on recent relative form and other factors I believe that Attractive Bay can be termed as the main contender in this race

There is Private Party in this race who showed vast improvement in its last run, with that run on its back and an extra furlong to travel with a switch in jockey to a claimer this horse can hope for a better show

Then there is the presence of Inspirator who has been quite consistent for quite some time hitting the board again and again, has been subjected to a good gate jump and is now sporting blinkers, tough choice to call as blinkers may act in favour or against it

The presence of horses such as Noble Princess who coincidentally like the distance very much and Mystic Lavenders who has been long in tooth for quite sometime makes this race an interesting affair although its meant for horses in lower class......

Silhouette gets a huge switch in jockey support, last run was decent given the preperation and the jockey on board,on that basis has to be given due consideration

My choice is Private Party, mainly because it has shown cast improvent in its last run and as such has scope to do well in what looks like an open race

My Choice:#6 Private Party Win

RACE 3:A class II race over 1200 mts

Atheletic Star, the last start winner over 7f has good form albeit the change in jockey can throw a minor surprise here as horse is known to be good over 6f

Will Star has been knocking at the door for long, has run some creditable races but hasn't been able to do well,is the dark un in this race

Then there are the likes of Sunstone although is a 7f horse has shown some zest in its recent runs and Click who cannot be overlooked too

However there are two horses in Hendrix and Eternal Desire that may have a big day in the finish

Hendrix is taking on a class II opposition in his third career start, won his maiden with relative ease clocking a good timing and lost to Barrachus over the 7f trip after being overpowered by it in the final furlong in the straight..... Has been subjected to a good spurt and with these weights and a top jockey has all chances to score a victory here

Eternal Desire has two factors going for him,one is the experience over Hendrix and the other is the fact that he has won in class III where as the latter did not..... Add to it he gets a huge switch in jockey support and will look to give a tough fight here......

This race is very intriguing on paper Atleast, the presence of Suraj Narredu, victory in a maiden and then in class III with relative age factor over the others in the field gives him an edge, the only thing is arithmetics between Eternal Desire and Hendrix, giving weight to him and I believe he can do so and thus is my personal fancy

My Choice:#6 Eternal Desire Win

RACE 4:A class IV race over 1400 mts (Div.ii)

An interesting race this Atleast on paper, one has to take into account of the number of horses that are making a switch to positive equipment in this race.......

Generally horses who opt for handicap races after a maiden debut, being a placed horse in a maiden tend to do well. On that account Meherani seems like the top contender in this race. Other factors which can tilt the result in its favour are the change in equipment and having top jockey on board

Russian Link is running after a long lay off,yet has been tracing extremely well and as such has to be given due consideration.

Secret Prayer has been running some game races and as such appeals here once again on that note, the weights assigned may be a stopper but the switch in jockey sends positive signals.....

Orca who ran the first ever race of the season, also has two factors going for it,they being a change in shoes and change in jockey with respect to its last run,has good scope for improvement

My Choice:#1 Secret Prayer Win

Race 5:A class III race over 1200 mts (5yo+) (Div.ii)

There are some horses with negative equipments,of the ones who seem like having an impact it boils down to three horses according to me

Artorius gets a change in jockey support to someone who has been pretty succesful during his shirt stint this season, horse has ran against classy opposition and such cannot be overlooked despite its slump its form in this race

Strombolite is the other one that looks like having a very good chance of returning a winner or hitting the top 3. True that the trainer has opted for a change in jockey yet on the basis of its last run should do well

Cullinan has been subject to some good preperation, has been entrusted to a top rider and at these weights with a decent last run on its back should be the logical race in this race

My Choice:#8 Cullinan Win

RACE 6:A Terms race for 3yo horses only over 1200 mts

China One who has shown out in a mock race is the pick of the debutants, out of champion stallion Mtidimensional and good preperation the hopes will certainly be high

Then there is the duo of horses with run benifit in Eternal Flame and Honour, the former has a switch in jockey to someone who has been in great form oflate, the latter has scope for second line time improvement and is in my opinion the better horse of the two

Marine One won well on debut,it is not the timing or distance but the manner of victory in the final 100 mts was pleasing.... With that victory on its back one can only hope it to improve.... With Colm O Donoghue doing duty and prepared well and also being the only proven horse in this set he is my personal fancy for this race..... One should not forget that he is bred well to do good over this trip too

My Choice:#1 Marine One Win

RACE 7:A class IV race over 1400 mts (div.i)

Romeo, the first winner of his crop has failed to live upto expectations after that run.... Was given a run in B'lore after being shifted and as such is the main contender as he gets a top jockey on demotion

Although there are many horses in the fray that has both hope to do well and followers,I believe both Jingle Bells and Admired are the ones that will pose a serious challenge according to me

Jingle Bells who has been prepared well also gets a switch in saddle support, one could be optimistic of a good show after being repeatedly fancied.... The main contender in this race

The other horse in Admired, has only two career runs so far and both in maiden races..... Seen here in low weights, this horse who is bred similar to Agostini has also been subject to some very good preperation and as such is the one they all have to be wary of in this race..... My personal fancy

My Choice:#12 Admired Win

RACE 8:A class III race over a mile

It is once again Baracchus that appeals here, this horse is taking a step up in trip after a well earned victory in its last start and has been tracking well too

The challenge should come from Secret Dimension who has been running some game races and with the last run being pretty suggestive one cannot rule it our from contention here

Charming Grey won well on debut and its last run was not short of any good....... Gets a good chance here as the same top jockey is doing duty again.....

All said and done,Baracchus who came into his own in the last run that was after a layoff gets a good chance to go 2 in a row and is my personal fancy for this race

My Choice:#1 Baracchus Win

Race 9:A class III race over 1200 mts (Div.i)

Albertino was once considered to be a classic hopeful, lost its way due to mishaps and bad gate manners, last run it appears that it broke its blood vessel,a threat to whomsoever wants to win here

There is Igah Igah Igah who is racking well and has decent relative form in the fray,it is the horse they all have to beat in this race

The likes of Vigorous (a comfortable winner last time out and is in great vein of form) and Sun Glow who has been seemingly the best prepared horse in the fray add competitiveness to this race

Sans Frontiers had a eventful last outing, the trainer has opted for a positive switch of jockey, has been placed well in the scales now and is certainly the horse that warrants a lot of attention,my personal fancy

My Choice:#10 Sans Frontiers Win/Place

Have a nice day,gamble responsibly

DAYS BEST:Marine One

Good Bets:Eternal Desire,Admired
