B'lore 17/01/15 Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends, 

                     The Saturdays card looks to be both well filled and highly competitive,here are my analysis followed by personal fancies of the same 

RACE 1:For maiden 3 yo over 1100 mts 

Four out if the eleven horses have a run benifit,of whom two are going for negative equipment and the other two don't seem to be having any positivity around them 

Thus one has to go for the debutants in this race....... 

Amazing Charm strikes right away thanks to being bred in half to the indomitable Amaizng Grace....... Has a gate jump to its credit and one should hope its bloodlines carry it through. May have needed a bit longer 

Talking about speedy horses,re progenies of Phoenix Tower should always be considered,Skyfullofstars fits the bill,keep an eye 

But on preperation alone no horse is as good as Nostalgic Memories,this daughter of Arazan is also bred reasonably well and has been in the tracks for quite sometime now,with a good jockey aboard and coming out from too stables should do well here,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#7 Nostalgic Memories Win

RACE 2:A class v race over 1200 mts 

Form is not a strong zone of horses who are accepted to run here 

Royal Defence who is having a switch in jockey is running down on demotion,the owner-trainer-jockey combo have struck before in the recent past,being a demotee one has to give it a fair chance 

Classy Gestures has done well in its last but one run,the change in equipment coupled with a decent jockey onboard makes this horse a decent contender in this race 

Have a look at Apollo Rising,who was seen running well up with the pace in its last race now runs after stepping down in trip and has a good jockey on board,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#10 Apollo Rising Win 

Race 3:A race for maiden 3 yo's only over 1100 mts 

The sole horse with a run benifit in this race,Private Paradise was on course to victory in its last start when collared by the eventual winner in the last 50 mts,now with a step down in trip and decent preperation this horse may get the top billing in this race 

There are many debutants in this affair,Rare And Bold,Sharp Shooter and Vicious Circle being the ones that seem like having a certain edge in this race 

Rare And Bold especially has been subject to some good preperation and as such cannot be ignored,the trainer-jockey combo has also done well,my personal fancy in this race 

My Choice:#3 Rare And Bold Win 

RACE 4:A class III race over 1400 mts 

On the outset,this seems like a very very competitive race 

Schiavone who is coming into this race after a shot at the 1000 gns at Hyd will certainly attract a lot of attention,has been active in the tracks after that run and now runs with blinkers On 

The duo of Flames Of Passion and Hidden Soldier both incidentally from the same stables will create a lot of confusion,the former is a horse involved with controversy and with the top rider doing duty cannot be over ruled in this race 

Then there is the presence of EVALINA who is also in the thick of things this season and can be expected to do well here 

Then there is the duo of Eragon (who runs after quite a break and has been given a single yet good track spurt from top stables) and Millrose (whose fourth in its last start was quite decent and whilst recieving weights from all and a change in jockey to the one who rode her while she won,she has a fair chance in pulling it off here) 

As I had said before this race looks to be very interesting on paper,my personal fancy here would be Millrose whose last run and the scales she is assigned to may very much aid her in this set 

My Choice:#10 Millrose Win/Place 

Race 5:A class II race over 1400 mts (5yo+) 

There are a couple of horses in the fray who are running for the first time after demotion,Irish Song despite the fact that it is assigned to a work jockey does create interest on paper in this race...... 

Valerian after a bad last run has retained the same jockey,a good sprinter yet one has to give this horse a second look before making a decision 

The horses that could do well according to me in this race are Talisker,Amazing Redd,Shivalik Fire and Assiduous 

All four horses have decent runs in this season on their back and on closer scrutiny it is Talksker and Shivalik Fire that appeal the most to me in what I term it as a race of immense potential of being a thriller 

Shivalik Fire,sencond to Native Indian who coincidentally runs in this same race has a positive change in saddle support and after its win in class III during summer season this horse had some runs in class II and now with a benifit of a good run holds the ace in this race 

Then there is the age old warrior Talisker whose wins in 1400 mts earlier on in its career makes me believe that he is suited over this trip,true age is against it but with Suraj doing duty the chances certainly look rosy here,more so because it has slipped down beyond its Last winning Rating,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#3 Talisker Win 

RACE 6:A class I race over 1200 mts 

EMPEROR CRUISE being the lone youngster in this race being partnered by the top jockey of this track and a known performer over the 6f,makes him the top contender in this race. He has to prove his mettle however by giving weight to most of the field 

The Likes of Frenemme who has been a good handicapper,Treasure Mountain who has earlier won in the same class during the summer season,Jersey Shore who is now dangerously placed in the handicap scales with a good third last time out are the ones that seem like toppling the youngster here...... 

Chul Bul Pandy has been a good sprinter,has showed a spark of form in its last run while carrying the top weight to third place..... Now with promotion meaning weights lowered and a change in jockey this horse is certainly the one that could have a big say in this race,an eachway fancy 

My Choice:#10 Chul Bul Pandy Win/Place 

RACE 7:A class III race over 1400 mts (Div.I) 

Saltoro Ridge has been running some good races,a good start to its career early on and hopefully should put up a good show here 

Although there is the presence of horses like Country's Pride,Bazinga and Rustic Sunrise 

It is Remebrance of You the sole win of her being in a handicap race yet crossed swords with the best of her crop against another horse with the same scenario coming into this race in Del Santo...... 

Del Santo in particular has been quite consistent in the track spurts oflate and with the winning jockey doing duty is certainly the horse they all should beat in this race,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#6 Del Santo Win 

RACE 8:A class IV race over a mile 

The first four horses in the card Prize Finder,The Soparno,Sheer Elation and Turf Tactics have all been earlier winners in recent times,have top notch jocks doing duty and all will have their share of pros and cons........ 

I feel that Sheer Elation is the better of the lot,her last win over 1400 mts seemed good and she seems to hold the ace in this race over Prize Finder whom I find as the immediate threat to her 

My Choice:#3 Sheer Elation Win

RACE 9:A class IV race over 1400 mts (5yo+) 

Prince Academy who afte winning in class v gets a change in jockey and seemingly tracking well in trials will be expected to run well here and rightly so..... The other lower class winner over a mile in Tanganyika having a drop down in class 

Have a look at Cannes who is a small made horse yet has done well to score a earlier on in its career,its the third time the jockey is doing duty on this race and as such cannot be overlooked 

As Good As It Gets gets a change in shoes,last run was pretty good and is a winner in the same class earlier with Suraj in the saddle,with the claimer on top here has rosy chances in this races 

Strength And Wonder has been in the thick of things,gets a huge switch in saddle support and a good track spurt to go by and as such is the main contender in this race 

There are a couple of horses in Motibation who is placed extremely good in the scales and Zagato who according to me is the outsider in this race....... 

Another seemingly open affair,my personal fancy is Strength And Wonder 

My Choice:#4 Strength And Wonder Win
