Hello Friends,

                        The day 2 of mysore racing on its opening weekend features Srikantadatta Narasimharaajawadiyar Memorial Million along with 8 other races,here are my picks for the day.

1-12 Flying Prince is a choice more on hope that the Zero rated animal with an added allownace of another 3 kgs wil be able to do well in this field,my second pick here is El Matador who is carrying weights but has done well in the upper class in its last couple of runs and cannot be sidelined.Amongst others the obvious threat would be from John's mount.

2-1 Kir Royale although technically is not a good 6f horse (never won over the trip) has been lucky enough to run in div-2 of this class IV affair and retains the services of YSS who had earlier driven this horse to a win a season before on seasonal debut and that makes it as my first choice in this race,On Time has had an eventful last run way back at january and has quite a possibility to cause an upset,my second pick.

3-5 Cool Springs is a decent chance with an unknown jockey and that is a risk to be taken if this horse has to be backed as the B'lore based youngsters have nothing to show for their credit,Silent Trust being a Course and Distance winner is my second pick in what seems like a 'wild' sort of a race

4-2 Ice Splendour is a horse that appeals to me based on its last but one run and it followed that up with a fair permormance next time out and now should be in the mix once again,my second pick would be once again YSS's Blue Zone who despite being a 7f horse is placed well and should be treated with respect.

5-2 Possimpossible who managed to clear maidens in a class IV race earlier this year is dropping down in grade and should be an interesting contender in this race and should be respected on that account,take a look at Atlantis who has had a bad run last time out and is my second pick in a race which is otherwise filled with Mysore based runners.

6-7 Kingston Town has been running some decent races in the recent past and is now facing a company it could tackle in my opinion and is my first pick,Hillsboro who was a surprise winner once in the BSM is my second pick as the "catch me if you can" tactics may rove to be handy here.

7-2 Bold March has run three decent races at BSM and although giving weight to most of its rivals cannot be discounted and is my first pick to come out clean here,also take a look at La Dona who despite her sparingly raced record is a threat as she has placed in the Fillies championship Stakes.

8-11 Star Nijinsky is placed well in this race at the bottom of the scales and as far as I'm concerned is a straight forward pick in this race,Proserpine who is a first start winner ran a couple of decent races against the likes of the now Bangalore Summer Million champ in Sheryl and should be respected.

9-1 Demanding Format who despite the jockey with respect to the other acclaimed jockeys in the field appeals as a value choice and is my first pick due to the conditioning in the upper class in the last run and my second pick here would be Port Blair who with the consistent John should be in the reckoning too.
