Hello Friends,
                        Thursday wasnt any good,but then its time to move on and see where we stand at the end of the week,here are my choices for the day.

1-2 Shining Armour e/w dropping down in class for the first time along with placing over this very trip in its previous sojourn's are its pros,the cons include the jockey and some more experienced horses in the fray,danger should be from Veda who despite the long lay off could surprise and ofcourse the two market fancies

2-5 Interesting as the name suggests is a choice of mine due to two factors,one of them being a handicap debut with an optimal rating and two being active on the trial tracks unlike my other fancy in the race De Ville Butterfly.

3-2 Maduro against the likes of proserpine is a choice because of conditioning in two terms million of which one is a third place effort in a seemingly good company,has been penalised a couple of points for that effort yet still the mumbai horse under the Hyd schooler rather temporarily has the ability to spring a minor surprise.

4-1 Magical Light e/w a demotee,with a good record over this trip against a horse who has had a lay off,so i see good value here even with this jockey as the trainer has earlier trusted him with good horses and he has performed,an each way chance

5-2 Bold Command assuming that the multi classic winner in Alaindair cannot beat youngsters giving weight,might be a disastrous assumption to make,so be it.... Bold Command won over a trip which wasnt it's forte last start and now over a trip which might be its strong point add to it a second against myrtlewood makes it my choice.... Booker Jones is another horse that can be threatening especially with the weights its supposed to carry.

6-6 Back In A Flash won well on derby day and on re-appearence in this d-2 horse has a good enough chance to threpeat,threat may be from one of the more experienced horses in the fray.

7-3 GoodWill Warrior appeals to me in what is the most open race of the day,seasonal debut with another claimer was decent enough and on that note and coming back to LWR makes this horse an interesting candidate.

8-2 Duke of norfolk looks good on preperation and being a debutant there is not much to analyse but there is hope that this horse would do well for the connections

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in grade with a chance in
