                        The last day of the season and to be honest Thursday's results although were not shocking it did not certainly go my way,anyways lets see what the final day has instore for us

1-2 Fire Rainbow on account of last run against Pallas and the company it is facing now appeals,Ninion prep suggests some improvement and Wear the Hat will also be in contention thanks to the owner-trainer-jockey combo.

2-9 Campfire despite shooting its ratings when finishing second in last start has a lot of challengers to fight against here,Galino for a start and also Kings Kid... The reason is simply that it ran well last time out and for a horse like this the form could be exploited to win an elusive maiden. Granada is an obvious danger with the conditioning in upper class,also keep an eye on Active Grey who has been a performer in upper classes and now on demotion may shock a few.

3-7 Raw Gold was one horse I fancied earlier in the season and it went down to its own stablemate and now appeals after going into a maiden race and slipping back to handicaps also there is a change in jockey,The Y S Srinath ridden Shivalik Girl is obviously the other contender in the fray but age is in favour of Raw Gold.

4-5 War Envoy with a gelding procedure and a Mock Race followed by it and a top jockey to take the reins is a chancy choice against the likes of Grecian Light Cape Cross and others...

 5-1 Super Success who has come down in class after last run where it could not hit the front may be given another chance now with Suraj in the saddle,Life Awaits on promotion is also a strong contender as the manner of victory last time out was quite good,Frizbee and Downton Abbey are the other contenders in the fray.

6-3 Ace Bucephalus E/W another chance,last time broke BV over 1400m and that run was pretty decent and a good performer along with Mickey Mouse over this trip,true there is a horse in brilliant form in Coldstream and also an youngster in Sea Fairey are in the fray but then Ace has an upsetting chance and is my first pick.

7-4 Justice Angel the first start winner just like Emidio who won today and a terms runner is placed well in the upper part of the scales against a fellow youngster in Annantanarivo and giving weight to a surprise yet backed winner in maiden class in Blue Blazer,Justice's exposure in good type of races

8-1 Firing Line E/W who is a winner over the same trip in the lower class at winter and with a call in the upper class race last start should be respected on demotion,Dagobert the lone youngster in the fray is prone for improvement and also Noble Sapphire who was a minor shock last time out has the form to consider.

9-1 Brunaldo true that Ramon at the bottom of the scales in an imminent threat to whomsover that wants to win here but Brunaldo who is a winner in a maiden class race is placed well in this set and with the right intent can run a bold race,Feet on Fire due to the jockey factor and Neymar despite the lay off with age on its side are the challengers in the fray

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run?
