Hello Friends,
                        Today is the first of the two extra days scheduled for BANGALORE RACES,the card has 8 races and here are my choices with a reason or two....

1-1 New Era has been running some off the pace races in the recent past,dont know for sure if that style of running will suit it better,however on respect to the class it is running against can do better here,keep an eye on Reverberating who has run this class V race as a fav once earlier on and with conditioning in class IV should be in strong contention too,an eachway chace.

2-6 Storm racing as a debutant in the race named after the Horse owned and trained by the connections has my first preference over ofcourse Gypsy who has raced with good company but should change its tact to prevail here,of the others the front runner in last start in Siyoni gets a chance to place in what seems an open affair.

 3-2 dancing princess looks good to win in this upper divison no whip affair,challengers in this race are Veda who should benefit from the run and run a decent one here

4-2 Duke of Clarence looks placed well after being given a rather high rating of 48 for clearing maidens,Emidio who has an exposure in a million is also in contention,between them the former appeals due to jockey and also the manner of victory in the last start,good chance if odds are decent.

5-9 Sir Majestic who has the benefit of carrying low weights in this d-1 affair is also one of the youngest horses in the fray with an upward curve,true Top Spot and Ungoogelable have run with better opponents and should be respected too. Light of Magic has also seen better company but the stable and the rider engagement is sending confusing signals...

6-7 Saptajit e/w who has been a winner over 2000m before beating a good horse has not been in thr frontline this summer however can hope to do well in this set with its running style,Swiss Eagle and Turf Tactics being the other possible contenders in my view

7-5 Reference having been favoured against the now all conquering Serjant At Arms has missed almost an entire season and that is a cause of concern,however on class should be respected,and is a good chance odds permitting

8-2 Good Fortune the youngster although what he beat last start wasnt any good,the manner of victory was pleasing to the naked eye and with the allowance this time should be respected again,Taqdeer Ka Basha and last start improved performer in Madame Bovary are the ones that could be in the mix over the all important end.

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in grade with a chance in
