Hello Friends,
                        September starts with racing at Mysore,a caompact yet dull card of 7 races has been framed for the day,here are my picks for the day.

1-5 Reverberating is my pick in this opener of the day,has been in the mix earlier in its career and will be interesting to see how it fares here with change in shoes,Indian Fury who was sluggish last time out should be in the contention too.

2-5 Breaking Away who has the habit of running upfront and now with the upcoming apprentice who has shown his mettle riding those kind of horses is my pick here and if odds are favourable then is a decent chance in the second of the day.

3-4 Amazing Charm is back in the track where it registered its last win and against a horse that conquered it last time but now with Trevor in the saddle for his retainer is my first pick here,Zodiac is sparingly raced but the choice of jockey merits serious attention and should be in the mix too.

4-1 Sachi has matched strides with a decent bunch of B'lore horses and on that account should be able to do well here against B'lore horses in this no whip affair,amongst the B'lore contigent Proudprince should be in contention too and is my second pick here.

5-6 Secret Dimension looks well poised on paper after running a couple of decent races on its last 2 starts and should be in good contention here,Real Steel who is getting a change in jockey and too a positive one is my second pick here and should run a bold race too.

6-9 Bengaluru Princess appeals more on hope than anything else,again a risky proposition given its jump last time out but with respect to the field should be in prime contention,also the Western Indian discard in Mysore trained Apaloosa should reappear after the break in a good manner and keep an eye on it.

7-1 Wings of Fortune the now old in tooth performer would have been a more comfortable choice if this race was over 1200m nevertheless is placed well to run in this div-2 affair and is my prime choice here,Yellowzone is also in contention as it has a liking for this trip and will be in good contention here.

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run?
