Hello Friends, 
                    It was a forgettable afternoon at the races on Boxing Day,looking forward to a good day on Saturday at Bangalore. The card is filled with 9 races and here is my analysis and Selections followed by investment plans for the day 

RACE 1:A class IV race over 1400 mts (Div.II) 

Hidden Deal who comes into this race with a game second in its last start is in all aspects the top contender according to me in this race 

Two horses in Summer Sensation (who gets a positive switch in jockey) and Little Brown Jug (whose run behind Hendrix is notable and also has change in jockey) are the likely challengers 

Of the debutants,Trojan appeals but then the choice of rider and shoes are a cause of concern 

Musical Treasure had a rough passage past time out and can improve on that effort here...... 

My personal fancy here is Hidden Deal who comes into this race on back of a decent run and its trial spurt after its last run is a good pointer too.... 

My Choice:#2 Hidden Deal Win 

RACE 2:A class V race over a mile 

The presence of a horse from top stables along with a foreign jockey in Tanganyika makes it the top contender in this race,that's not all this horse has performed well in both its last two outings and as such one can expect it to do well here 

The challenge should come from the duo of Faraz Arshads horses of which Tuscano is my pick and Attractive Bay who comes into this race with a very decent performance 

Have a look at Angela,this horse gets a change in shoes and also a change in jockey,add to it its last run isn't too bad thus I guess this horse which is well placed in the scales should exploit its advantage and run a big race,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#7 Angela Win 

RACE 3:A class III race over 1400 mts 

Although there are many youngsters in form one should not overlook Kingston Town who is getting a positive saddle support,had a good summer season and I'm hoping for an improved performance from him here 

Then comes the quartert of Star of Destiny,Saltoro Ridge,Secret Dimension and Fourth Dimension 

The first two named horses are winners of same class and being retained here again they arête top contenders in this race 

Of the other two who are coming into this race with impeccable form,I hope that Fourth Dimension who is having a step up in trip and class along with a top jockey on duty is my pick for what seems like a very open race. 

My Choice:#7 Fourth Dimension Win

RACE 4:For 2 yo maidens over 1200 mts 

Phoenix Tower as a sire is known to infuse early speed to its progenies and when they come into the race with good preperation then one cannot overlook them and with those indicators Ninja is a top contender in this race 

Neil Farley who rode Garuda last time faltered,this time with  Suraj Narredu in the saddle one can only hope that it puts up an improved performance. 

But the one that is showing out in trial tracks is Sun Moon and Stars and the got abroad Danburite are the ones that will make this race very interesting 

I feel that Sun Moon and Stars has been prepared well and should run a bold race against Garuda who has a run benifit and a top jockey in the saddle,my personal fancy is the former 

My Choice:#12 Sun Moon and Stars Win 

RACE 5:A class IV race over 1400 mts 

LEIGE LORD despite the change in jockey and being a failed favourite should not be overlooked here,in my opinion it is the top contender in this race 

The last start winning duo of Speedstress and Celestial Storm are the main challengers here,although the latter won in the lower class the manner of victory was pleasing and has the edge in my opinion 

Tree Lounge sitting at the bottom of the scales is running its second race of its career,has one good spurt after its debut and has a switch in saddle support. And that's not all it is from a sire who has done well with its crop and is bound for second life time improvement. Thus it is my personal fancy 

My Choice:#11 Tree Lounge Win 

RACE 6:For class IV horses over 1400 mts (4yo+) 

Rakshita has been quite consistent this season,its last run especially was good and as such is a top contender in this race 

There are too many challengers in this race,say Feet on Fire,Aero Star,Spanish Moon and Cadogan 

Spanish Moon is a same class and distance winner,may well be the horse that can spring a minor surprise here 

I'm however of the opinion that Stimulator can give a good account of itself,it is well placed in weights and has been working well oflate my only concern is the last 100 mts. But then it has all chances to run a good race here an e/w fancy

My Choice:#9 Stimator win/place 

RACE 7:A class II race over a Mile 

CORIOLIS who is making his handicap debut in class II will do well if he wins here,I will be watching his run with keen interest. His run in the Hyd 2000 guineas was highly impressive and is a top contender in this race 

Both Aashikara and Evraz has shown good form in the recent past,the latter has a strong jockey in the saddle and has an edge in my opinion 

Magnitude Star is running game races and if it manages to do one more trick here I will be mighty surprised 

However my fancy here is Amistad,because it has been tracking well oflate. This Mumbai import from premeir stables in my opinion is the Darkhorse in this race 

My Choice:#6 Amistad Win/Place 

RACE 8:A class III race over 1200 mts (4yo+) 

DIAMOND QUEST was all dominant when it won in its last start,interesting choice of jockey here and is still the top contender in this race 

Although there are the likes of Little love to be partnered by ace jockey and Arch Duchess who is consistent and may very well have its reward for the same in the fray there are two horses that interest me 

They are Ace Angel Fire whose mock race simply makes him irresistable here in this race and Vigorous who now gets its winning jockey back in the saddle 

To be honest its a very open race with a couple of other contenders in Clueless and Wings of Fortune also in the fray 

My Choice:#11 Vigorous Win 

RACE 9:FOR CLASS III HORSES OVER 1400 mts 

HENDRIX beat a modest bunch when it won on debut,yet its style and manner of win was imposing and as such has all the credentials to score two in a row 

However horses such as Rustic Sunrise and Baracchus make this race pretty interesting 

Baracchus has matched strides with classy horses,although still a maiden it is coming back after a rest and its last track spurt is encouraging. Given the fact that it comes from top stables and is being ridden by a decent foreign jockey it is my personal fancy in this race 

My Choice:#2 Baracchus Win

Hello Friends,                          By the time this post gets completed it would be just an hour or two before racetime,anyways hope it helps those who could read it RACE 1: Multigory: won maiden race in his second start and has won class class 4,class 3 and class 53-79 races subsequently,the last two start winner has hit sublime form and is the one to watch out for Jeanine: A first start winner over 5f to clear maidens has subsequently won class 3 and class 2,pune has been a better hunting ground. Pugnacious: Has age on his side and so are the weights tilted in his favour,on class is a maiden winner,class 4 winner and class 3 winner,hence is the one to beat During the fag end of the season horses who are in form can hope to do much better and with that logic I feel Multiglory should have a big say in the opener Race 3: Forest Fire: A maiden,having second start in class V over extended trip with a + switch in jockey,keep an eye,fair record in class IV Sheer Belie

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in grade with a chance in
