B'lore Friday 05/12/14 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends, 

                    A eight race card has been framed at the BTC and here is my analysis and personal fancies for the day.... 

RACE 1:A class IV race over 1200 mts 

Interactive who has been consistent in his last 2-3 runs also gets a positive switch in jockey with respect to its last run,now over 1200 mts it stands a decent chance in this set 

However it has to contend with Fruit Prince who has a negative switch in jockey support but don't undermine it as it a winner over the same trip in the same track with a run advantage this season,Speedstress who is on her third lifetime start and is very much on the radar thanks to the switch in jockey and the weights she is assigned to carry and the dark outsider in Croziet whose latest track movements are rather suggestive coupled with an interesting choice of jockey 

Also there is Secret Touch who has been running some decent races and has a good run benifit too,yet I feel that it is better to watch how it perform here 

However,VENCEDORA who is a maiden winner over the same trip,has had a run benifit earlier in the season and is now dropping down to a distance in which it won...... Also has a decent jockey aboard and I presume that her 'class' will take her through in this set despite being a filly carrying top weight and thus is my personal fancy 

My Choice:#1 VENCEDORA WIN 

RACE 2:A class V race over 1200 mts (4yo+)

NOTE:No Whips Allowed in this race 

There is not much to analyse in this low class affair,certain horses with good form have negative equipment 

Bella Pinky,Thunder,Silhouette and Fashion Flame appeal the most in this race 

Silhouette is my choice of the four,its last run was fair enough,this horse is tracking well and also has a jockey who is good enough. An eachway fancy 

My Choice:#8 Silhouette Win/Place 

RACE 3:A class IV race over 1200 mts 

The youngsters hold the key in this race too in my opinion,Sairani,Good Fruit,Rare and Gorgeous,Miracles of Life are the four horses that come straight into contention in this race 

Miracles of Life is still a maiden but with a suggestive last run and top jockey support has all chances to clear its maiden status and is the top contender in this race 

The other three mentioned horses are winners with Sairani having the best possible chance to land the spoils here 

My choice however is Miracles Of Life who has a run benifit,good trackwork and a top jockey onboard 

My Choice:#7 Miracles of Life Win 

RACE 4:A class IV race over 1400 mts (5yo+) 

Although a class IV race reserved for older horses there are many horses with known good form coming into this race 

In my view this race will be dominated by Hillton and Ice Kingdom inspite of the presence of some good horses like Spanish Fly,Fortunate One and Somerset Rose 

Hillton which advertised its retained form and fitness by winning at a wholping price in its last but one run,now has a single run this season with younger company,being a 7f horse sitting at low weights this horses stands a fair chance in this set . Not to forget this horse has been given some good preperation too 

Ice Kingdom gets a switch in saddle support,the jockey was prominent early on but his performance in this winter season especially after shedding his claiming allowance is a cause for concern,that not withstanding this horses run not so long ago this very season was suggestive and with that run at its back can hope to do well and as such is my personal fancy 

My Choice:#9 Ice Kingdom Win 

RACE 5:A class III race over a mile 

One of the most interesting races of the day,Czar Rule has been twice a winner in the lower class,also its last run in class III company was quite good that too among younger horses,thus this horse selects itself as the main contender 

Connemara has been a good performer in its career,now that this horse is running after a break and has a new master due to unavoidable circumstances I guess that it would be much better to watch its run here. But then it has credentials to do well and especially when it has top jockey support 

Mystic Music whose victory over 7f in the B'lore summer was impressive,it running that day suggested that it needs more ground and now over this trip with a jockey change is the dark un and one should give it a look 

Romeo,the western Indian import has been quite forward from its early days,it is indeed the first winner of its crop. Now again in a new track and with a new trainer one has to play a waiting game,if it wins so be it 

Star of Destiny is the horse that has been on my list of horses to follow,it gets its winning jockey back in the saddle. The last run if you ask me can be ignored as the declared jockey was changed at the last minute,I will like to give it another chance and is my personal fancy too 

My Choice:#7 Star Of Destiny Win 

RACE 6:A class II race over 1200 mts (4yo+) 

AUSTIN who is vying for three in a row now has the best jockey on offer at Bangalore in the saddle and with both its wins in the lower class impressive the hopes will be high and certainly so 

The presence of what was a very decent horse before it started to miss the kicks at the gate,Valerian has now been giving solid preperation in the hands of its new schooler. A level jump will certainly add gold to its chances 

Then there are horses like Royal Salute,King Julien and Cool Hand that has all the chances to make its races very interesting 

Sweet Secret who is a winner in the same class cannot be overlooked too

Have a look at Cool Hand who now comes into this race with a positive switch in equipment coupled with some good tracks and has been a decent performer in this class for sometime now. My personal fancy an e/w chance 

My Choice:#7 Cool Hand Win/Place 

RACE 7:A class III race over 1400 mts (4yo+) 

Again another race which has so many horses with good form coming into this....... Ace Lexington who is a lower class winner now with a change in jockey and a step up in trip will be the first horse that will strike many,given its recent win and the manner of the victory too was good 

Have a look at Beauty Is Truth who has been quite a mystery after her second to the multi classic winner Mariinsky a year and a half ago,can it get the better in this set with a top jockey aboard? Chances are quite fair 

Then there is Igah Igah Igah who is a winner of the same class and has been entered again to run in the same class carrying top weight with the same winning jockey aboard,given the fact that it was a fighting victory last time it might be a lil tough to win here again 

And there is Stimulate who is running here after quite a break and has only one track gallop to its name,yet I feel that this horse is placed well in this set and as such is my personal fancy in this obviously open looking affair 

My Choice:#4 Stimulate Win 

RACE 8:A Terms Race for 3 yo maidens over 1200 mts 

Hendrix who is rather making a belated debut has been subject to some good preperation and looks good to run a good race on debut. 

Having said that the likes of the controversial Flames of Passion,the ever consistent Our Little Dragon or the one with good from and a change in jockey in Zulfiqar will make this rather very interesting 

There is Jingle Bells too to add to the mix making it quite a race 

Flame of Passion is a winner over the same trip before getting itself disqualified and has had its own issues,the best horse no doubt but then the intent will be key 

giving it a pass,my personal fancy would be Our Little Dragon who has been pretty consistent without winning and has services of a good jockey with positive equipment 

My Choice:#4 Our Little Dragon Win
