Hello Friends,
The Second classic of the season features in a day of 9 races, here is my analysis and my personal choices

RACE 1:A CLASS V RACE OVER 1200 mts (Div.II)

The lone three year old youngster in the field Shining Bay is the one that strikes right away, has two runs this season in its last run over 7f trip, this horse was prominent till the bend and had finished a decent fourth,as such is the one that is the top contender in this race

There are many horses who can hope to return a winner here in Sayyonne,Reformer,Angel Queen and Dream Neo

Angel Queen has what is called as a good form coming into this race,it has been a while sicne its last run and there is a change of shoes which sends confusing signals

Then there is Sayyonne who is a track and distance winner with the same jockey, with the benifit of a run and the winning jockey aboard one can only be optimistic for this horse to do well here

Then there is Refomer who has a very good run benifit and now has a fair chance yet again I have my own personal doubts

Thus by more than default or anything else my choice is going to be Dream Neo,who has been tracking well, has a run benifit, positive channge of shoes and a jockey who is now winning with this trainer

My Choice:#11 Dream Neo Win

RACE 2:A race for horses in class IV over 1400 mts (4yo+) (Div.II)

MOUNTAIN SPLENDOUR,EXTRA SPARK,Cheddar Face and Musical Treasure are the four horses that appeal to me in this second race of the day

Mountain Splendour seems good on paper as it has been subject to some decent runs. However for a horse whose last win was 3 years back over a 1100 mts trip I would better watch how it fares here with some interest

Musical Treasure is a winner in the lower class this very season, the win was very pleasing to the eye,it has been working well after that run too and is a top contender in my opinion in this race

Extra Spark now has two positives in a change in jockey and a change in equipment, also has finished a decent third in its last run........ The main challenger in this race, this horse should be right there where it matters

Another horse that could make this race rather interesting is Cheddar Face who is the dark Un here considering the fact that its last run is quite decent and it has been prepared well after that run

My personal fancy in this race would be Musical Treasure who has a decent win  and is coming into this race with many positives and hope that he puts up a good performance

My Choice:#10 Musical Treasure Win

RACE 3:For 2 yo Maidens over 1200 mts

Both Cato's Call and Oxford Opinion are got abroads, the latter is subject to some extreme preperation and has positive equipment (a rarity from this stable in recent times) and too jockey aboard.

Oxford Opinion thus has the edge in this race

Of the other horses the one that could have a big say in this race is Private Paradise, this horse is bred-well and with the trainer who has already sent in a juvenile winner last week, this horse who has also followed the same line of preperation and is now with a top jockey in the saddle has all the chances to repeat for the connections and as such is my personal fancy in this race

My Choice:#9 Private Paradise Win

RACE 4:A race for horses in class V over 1200 mts (Div.I)

There are many youngsters in this race and their presence makes this race albeit lower class a rather interesting one

of the older horses the one that catches the eye is Danube who in its last run led at 200 mts from home to finish second, now with some prep has a fair chance despite the trainer changing its shoes thus sending mixed signals......

Of the youngsters Hidden Deal is the one that catches ones attention for the sheer class of horses it has matched strides with, has a fair chance in this visibly poor set

Viento Plata last run the jockey said that the horse lugged in and now back to the distance where it had performed well and with a claimer on duty, this horse is the one to look out for

Then there is Wild Wild Angels who by virtue of a positive switch in jockey gets attention here, cannot be ruled out

Talking about running patterns its Animal Instinct who has put up rather an improved performance in its last run and now with 100 mts more to travel with respect to its last run this horse is my personal fancy as this race wears an open look to it

My Choice:#3 Animal Instincts Win/Place

RACE 5:A class IV race over a mile

On breeding, there is no match for Southern Fantasy and Equine Love both are siblings to multi classic winners. The very fact that both find themselves in a class IV affair does not speak much about them

Southern Fantasy has been running some handicap races and has failed to win in the lower Divison, the presence of top jockey and low weights are reasons to feel optimistic

Equine Love on the other hand, has been subject to very good preperation and has a change in jockey to Suraj Narredu. Also this horse is making its handicap debut, had an edge in my opinion over the other

Although there are horses like To The Future and Shivalik Eyes in the race,I would like to see how Ocean Park a lower class winner but the lone winner among youngsters in this race and Aguante who is making her second lifetime start do over this trip

Aguante has been subject to some very good preperation and is bound for second lifetime improvement with a change in jockey, certainly the horse that can surprise many

This race also wears quite an open look, however I feel that Equine Love will benifit from the step up in distance and thus is my personal fancy over here

My Choice:#2 Equine Love Win

RACE 6:A class III race over 1200 mts (Div I) (4yo+)

Albertino, the very fact that this well-bred horse had showed us a lot of promise early on in its career and thereafter lost its way in the fray makes this the leading contender. Just one solitary gate practice and the choice of jockey are its shortcomings but one can expect its class to take it home

His challengers in my opinion would be Air Tight (Who despite the jockey and form cannot be ignored due to its tracks) Click (who is making a demotion after running some game races in the upper class) Shinnecock Hills (Is in rousing form but the lay off should be considered) and Salzburg (whose last run is encouraging and can be looked upon positively to do well here)

The last named has been on my radar for long,I feel that the horse is well placed here and one can expect it to improve on its last run and thus is my personal fancy

My Choice:#8 Salzburg win/place

RACE 7:The Bangalore 2000 Guineas (3yo) (Gr.II)

BOLD MAJESTY took its own time to get itself into the groove while annexing two classics, the most experienced of the lot this horse has all the positives coming into this race, the top contender in this race

The winless Zucchero who is now being partnered by top jockey Suraj Narredu has been subject to some nice preperation and is the one that could throw a minor surprise

I find some buzz on Havelock Prince who has two mind boggling victories this season, the 'outsider' if any in this race . Personally it will be a story of sorts if he wins here,Lets see

Coldstream is a horse that has caught my imagination early on in this season, won in his prep quite well and has been prepared well too. Does he have class ? Can he stay the trip ?

For the first question my answer is yes,not many horses will win their handicap debut in a class II field,I believe a Mile is well within its compass and thus has every chance to strech its winning streak and is my personal fancy for this race

My Choice:#3 Coldstream Win

RACE 8:A class IV race over 1400 mts (4yo+) (Div.I)

Cannes which is now partnered by Keanen Steyn for the second time this season has a fair chance to score here. This horse has a decent run benifit and in this set should have a big say

Of the others Adriphos,Southern Sky,Zagato and Kimora appeal

Of this quartert I believe that Kimora who is now getting its winning jockey back and is running in a class where it has scored twice has a good chance and as such is my personal fancy here

My Choice:#6 Kimora Win/Place

Race 9:A race for class III horses over 1400 mts (div I) (4yo+)

The last race if this day has three good horses in Strombolite,Yellow Zone and Amigos in the fray

The horse that can be termed as the top contender is Strombolite

Then there are other horses in Prazsky and Coolmore that adds a certain 'pep' to this race

However,Game Dancer which finds itself in the bottom of the scales with a switch in jockey and positive equipment should run well here. Its style of running coupled with the weights should add to its advantage,an e/w fancy with all respect to its age

My Choice:#12 Game Dancer Win/Place

HAVE A NICE DAY,GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY
