Hello Friends, 
                     The Second classic of the season,The Hyderabad 2000 guineas features a card of 9 races. Here is my analysis and personal choices followed by my investment plan for the day

RACE NO 1:A race for horses 3yo+ over 2200 mts 

Four horses over a longer trip,with three horses all in with a chance being ridden by experienced jockeys. Its actually a very tough call to make 

On class 'snow bird' looks set apart,but many horses have failed to carry weights,add to it the distance to travel. The positive ofcourse is the jockey onboard 

Super Duper is now decisively better placed than the former,can travel the trip and has the ace jockey of the course,the top contender in this race 

Then there is Greek Star who is younger,carries a decent weight with respect to the other two and has the winning jockey again to partner it. The only question is can be match the class of the other two? 

Thus I guess the logical choice would be Super Duper,if I go by how I see the race,small fields and the pace of the race will have a decisive say 

My Choice:#2 Super Duper Win 

RACE 2:A handicap for horses rated upto 75 over 1400 mts 

DADS DOLLAR who after winning in the lower class over the same trip had finished on board in this very class last run,now again in this set can be 'termed' as the top contender in this race 

Even though Green Jewel has been winless after its maiden triumph in handicaps,he has been placed very well in this race and one can expect him to put up a good show 

Super Falcon who is a same class winner over 1200 mts has a pretty decent career so far,although going for the first time over 7f his running styles are pretty suggestive and has been also prepared quite decently and despite being his seasonal debut,he is my choice for this race 

My Choice:#1 Super Falcon Win 

RACE 3:For 2 yo only over 1100 mts 

Bharat King has three races under its belt and if for nothing else has an 'edge' on its racing fitness factor alone 

Limitation is bound for second lifetime improvement and has good chances of improving on its last run 

The horse that catches my eye on preperation is Stole A March who looks to be prepared quite well along with War Dancer. I think the former purely on basis of its preperation holds a slight edge and thus is my personal fancy 

My Choice:#7 STOLE A MARCH WIN 

RACE 4:A race for horses rated upto 50 (5yo+) 

VIJAYS VICTORY is on a hat trick bid,the tracks are promising and despite being on top of the weights scale this horse seems to be top contender in this race 

The presence of another last start winner but who is on promotion now in Sarvaganya has lots to be desired. This horse won its last start very well and is now also taking a step up in distance cannot be ruled out 

Jaz Elle and Novaya Zemlaya are both capable of upsetting but asset for me there are no positive signs,cannot be ruled out completely though 

Killer Instinct who has a run benifit this season,also gets a good chance in this race,the jockey is reasonably good and the horse is subject to very good preperation and thus is my personal fancy 

My Choice:#3 Killer Instinct Win 

RACE 5:For Horses rated upto 50 over 1200 mts (4yo+) 

The consistent Amazing Weapon who has been running some very good races in the recent past comes right into contention. The same class winner over the same trip has a fair chance of pulling off one here 

But with two horses who come into this race with winning form in Squanders Square and Fenway Court this race is pretty interesting,can they defy the penalties is the ? 

Also Natalia who is on her second run after demotion with a switch in jockey calls for a lot of attention 

Have a look at Rob Roy,who had a splendid last run if one takes into account that he has come into his previous race with a lay off of more than a year,with that run under his belt and a slightly positive switch in jockey this horse is my fancy over this trip here. 

My Choice:#3 Rob Roy Win/Place

RACE 6:A race for horses rated upto 50 (3yo+) Maidens Only 

A dicey race this,thanks to the debutant this race seems even more tricky,however if Vijay Vaibhav lives upto its pedigree Atleast in this set then the race is as good as over,if not now I wonder when and thus is my personal fancy 

My Choice:#6 Vijay Vaibhav Win 

RACE 7:A RACE FOR HORSES RATED UPTO 50 OVER 1200 mts (4yo+) 

EIN EIN EIN certainly appeals being a demotee 

Olympic Gold has been promising enough and is the top contender in this race thanks to its form 

The last start winner in Amazing Power has done well and there is a chance that it may do the same again 

Then there is Sprint Saloni which has won well in the lower class and had a good run in this class,now is well placed to score here and is my personal fancy 

My Choice:#7 Sprint Saloni Win 

RACE 8:THE DECCAN BOOKMAKER 2000 GUINEAS (GR.2)

Barring a surprise,I believe that the winner of this race will be confined to Veloz,Coriolis,Nerves Of Steel and Your Royal MaJesty 

The first named horse has a win in this reach where it beat the third named horse and is in fine condition and is definitely the top contender in this race 

CORIOLIS has shown some semblance of form in its last start where it came second to what seemed like a too good Merion 

Your Royal Majesty who was beaten last time in the same track by Bold Majesty,now comes back after running twice behind Polydences,the terms were not in his favour but his last run was eye-catching and on that front demands much respect 

My Choice:#12 Your Royal Majesty Win 

RACE 9 (Skip)

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in gra...

Mumbai Thursday races 12/12/13 a Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends,                       The mid-week racing card at Mumbai consists a compact card of 7 races,here is my analysis and selections for the day  Race no 1:Class V race over 1200 mts  Ancient Odyssey  which won its last start in the same class over the same distance now gets a positive switch in rider,as most of the field is out of relative form,this horse has a fair chance to repeat here Polar Zone  which has earlier shown some spark is now getting a guidance from a top jockey,has run decently in its previous runs too,no tracks are seen and that is my only worry  But one horse which caught the eye during its last run is  SHOWERS OF HEAVEN, it had a forward run in a large field with Dharmendar on top and was calling the shots until they crossed the 200 mts marker over a 7f trip,now with a benifit of that run and a switch to jockey,shapes as a decent chance bet for the day  MY CHOICE:#...
