Archibaldo a deserving champion

Hello friends, 
                    Archibaldo proved every doubter including yours truly wrong by maintaining good form through out the Bangalore summer season. The horse along with its regular partner in John proved to be one of the greatest success stories of the Bangalore season. In a sport where mystery is the name of the game my vote as a fan of the sport is to Archibaldo as the horse of the season. Kudos to trainer Prassanna Kumar for bringing back the horse to top condition and doing well at graded races,almost had the better of Stormtracker on the derby day as well at 1400

    Very few horses peak at the age of 7. Till a year back Atlantus was one such horse. Now Archibaldo. The small time trainer and owner sure does deserve some accolades.

      This horse surely reminds me of Optimus Prime,I was waiting for optimus Prime to run this season but I guess the horse suffered a setback again,nevertheless Archibaldo is indeed the horse of the season and also an inspirational story of the season

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run?
