RACE 1:For class V horses over 1200 mts (5yo+)  The horse that catches my attention first in this race is  Diesel Don, has two run benifits this season,retains the same jockey and is going out this time with a step down in distance with respect to its last two runs,prepared reasonably well too  Then there is the trio of challengers in  Seacaucus ,who has two starts in Pune,a demotee with a claimer on top,based on the fourth place effort at Pune,has a fair chance to deliver the goods here  Glorious Regime  whose last run was very suggestive of a good performance,has a huge switch in saddle support and as such cannot be ruled out here  Dishkayon  whose victory during the Pune season and the subsequent runs were decent enough to merit consideration,the trainer has placed two horses and one should hope for the right intent.....  Having said all that, Siddhi  who is running after a long lay-off is now entrusted to the jockey in form,preperati...

The first derby of the winter season in our country sees 9 horses taking part in this race  There are 9 horses in the field,five of them Acrider,Romantic Flow (Both carrying the dominating silks of Deepak Khaitan) Parushram (The lone Hyderabd challenger) TRIUMPHUS (The proverbial joker in the pack) and Confidence (Who ran a good race last time but has to improve notches to win here)  Thus the winner in my opinion should come from this quartert of FLY LIKE THE WIND ( Winner of the 1000 guineas and the best progeny of the freshmen sire WINLEGEND) who happens to be the best local hope,this horse is now partnered by P.S.Chouhan for the first time,it has to show either enormous improvement or change in tactics vis-a-vis its last run to come trumps here. The local challenger unlike others may have the tactical advantage in this race with two horses running in the same colors out of which one will be setting what would be an optimum pace for her more than anybody else.....  Then...

Hello Friends,                      Thursdays card at Mumbai consists of 9 races,here is my analysis followed by Personal fancies and Investment plans.....  RACE 1:A class V race over 1000 mts  BLEND OF ELEGANCE seems like the formidable contender in this race,primarily because she is one of the two 4yo's in the fray,also that she is having a positive switch in jockey to Trevor, on the flip side however she is a filly carrying top weight and is sporting Blinkers which may or may not keep her in good stead Of the other horses, Malzie (Who had a good penultimate run and a run benifit) Laurus Tikati (Having decent form coming into this race and can be the minor surprise if any) Donata (who has a switch in jockey and a good hat jump in its prep) and Ice Gate (who has a decent run on its back with a change in jocky to a decent claimer)  In my opinion, Ice Gate who is now well placed on demotion and to add to its advantage ...

Hello Friends,                      As time is too short to write a complete writeup of all the races,I have chosen four races for the day and has done a bit of analysis along with my personal choices and investment plan  RACE 3:For 3 yo maidens only over 1200 mts  Of the horses who have had a run in their career,it is the got-abroad Oxford Opinion that appeals a lot. This horse was fancied to do well in the last outing but failed to live upto expectations,now with that benifit of a run and more scope for improvement in its second lifetime start,this horse is one of the main contenders in this race  Speaking about preperation,there are two horses in my opinion that are well prepared and they are Knighthood and Ophelia  Knighthood is out of the freshmen sire Arazan ,the dam has thrown runners with early speed and I believe with the preperation the horse will be forward and with the jockey support that it gets just...

Hello Friends,                      The Bangalore Card which features the Chief Minister's Trophy consists a card of eight races,here is my analysis followed by personal fancies and finally followed by investment plan for the day  RACE 1:A class V race over 1200 mts (5yo+)  There are many possible contenders in this race due to various factors.....  Prince Academy is getting a huge switch in saddle support,has earlier in its career races with horses of greater class and now the very fact that it is dwelling in the lower class shows its calibre. However today it has a fair chance of pulling it off more due to strong jockey skills than anything else  Byronic incidentally gets its own winning jockey back in the saddle,has been in the downgrade since its last run but then having the same winning jockey back in the saddle is a good pointer  Have a look at the duo of Dream Neo (who threw is head at the start in it...

Hello Friends,                        The Sunday's card at Mumbai has eight races with The Jewel Royals Maharaja Jiwajirao Scindia Trophy (Gr.II) as the feature of the day. Here is my analysis and personal fancies followed by investment plans for the day.  RACE 1:A class V race over 2400 mts  Argyle Pink with Trevor Patel in the saddle warrants a lot of attention. This horse is a course and distance winner last season and now is near its last winning rating and as such is the top contender here  I'm however of the opinion that Bonobo who has also dropped down a lot in scales had a decent last outing and now over this trip with a run advantage this season this horse holds a slight edge than the former. Hello Friends,                      It was a forgettable afternoon at the races on Boxing Day,looking forward to a good day on Saturday at Bangalore. The card is filled with 9 races and here is my analysis and Selections followed by investment plans for the day  RACE 1:A class IV race over 1400 mts (Div.II)  Hidden Deal who comes into this race with a game second in its last start is in all aspects the top contender according to me in this race  Two horses in Summer Sensation (who gets a positive switch in jockey) and Little Brown Jug (whose run behind Hendrix is notable and also has change in jockey) are the likely challengers  Of the debutants, Trojan  appeals but then the choice of rider and shoes are a cause of concern  Musical Treasure had a rough passage past time out and can improve on that effort here......  My personal fancy here is Hidden Deal who comes into this race on back of a decent ...
