RACE 5:For horses rated upto 50 over 1200 mts 

I think that it is pretty obvious that the race is between the 3 yo horses in the fray,there are many contenders in this race 

But Amazing Approach seems to be the one that catches my attention first,it had a decent monsoon season where it cleared its maidens and was pretty consistent all the way,this horse which now makes a shift to the distance it won earlier is the top contender here 

Then there are the likes of Numinous and Pour VOUS that can be threatening in this race 

Have a look at Rapidest,this got-abroad was taken to Bangalore for summering,missed the entire monsoon season and is pitched in for the first day at winter with a decent prep around him,usually I don't opt for lay off horses but this horse holds the edge in this race if you ask me,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#5 Rapidest Win 

RACE 7:For horses rated upto 75 over 1400 mts 

The youngster in this race,Vijay Vidatha retains the winning jockey and is two for two in its career,now at these weights on promotion is certainly the too contender in this race 

With Compromise as a minor upsetter in my view and Lips Locking as a geneuine contender in this race,there is not much to choose from except for Alameda 

Alameda,who ran fourth in its last start on derby day has for two to beat in this race,going by its preparations and having a travelling jockey aboard and being a rather experienced youngster she is my personal fancy for this race 

My Choice:#4 Alameda Win

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in gra...

Mumbai Thursday races 12/12/13 a Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends,                       The mid-week racing card at Mumbai consists a compact card of 7 races,here is my analysis and selections for the day  Race no 1:Class V race over 1200 mts  Ancient Odyssey  which won its last start in the same class over the same distance now gets a positive switch in rider,as most of the field is out of relative form,this horse has a fair chance to repeat here Polar Zone  which has earlier shown some spark is now getting a guidance from a top jockey,has run decently in its previous runs too,no tracks are seen and that is my only worry  But one horse which caught the eye during its last run is  SHOWERS OF HEAVEN, it had a forward run in a large field with Dharmendar on top and was calling the shots until they crossed the 200 mts marker over a 7f trip,now with a benifit of that run and a switch to jockey,shapes as a decent chance bet for the day  MY CHOICE:#...
