Hyderabad 17/11/14 Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends,
                    Mondays Hyderabad card has 9 races,here is my analysis and personal fancies for the same 

RACE 1:A race for horses rated upto 50 over 1200 mts 

Torremilinos comes right into contention in this race basses on its last start victory over 1400 mts,now it cuts down in trip with a penalty,although not impossible I guess this horse will find it hard to win again 

Olympus has a fair chance in this race,this horse had won over 5f before going out of the top three in the very next,it has an apprentice who can be relied upon and is tracking very well 

Blue Eyed Babe,who missed out a victory last time out by 1/2 lengths,is in a set that may break her maidens,now that she gets to piloted by a jockey who I consider as a 'positive switch' and a proper preperation,she is the top contender in this race 

However Rapidest whose only chink is the jockey and if and a big IF that the boy keeps his compusre,then I believe that this horse has a great chance of bouncing back to winning ways. Last run in this season was after a lay-off and now with run at its back should improve and pose a victory in my opinion,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#1 Rapidest Win 

RACE 2:Terms race for 2 yo over 1000 mts 

This baby race is wide open,Rock Baby Rock which has been prepared well with a mock race followed by regular track spurts is certainly expected to be forward and racing fit,might be the favourite and has everything going well for it 

Golden Angel has had a real race experience and that cannot be underestimated 

Of the other horses although there is Tokyo Bloom who is out of a promising sire,Arazab I would like to shift my attention towards Chevalier sired Pegasus. 

Pegasus has also been prepared well and I believe that it has a fighting chance in this set,the jockey is decent,trackworks are neat and pedigree if not impeccable is to my understanding favours speed thus might run a good race and my personal fancy and an e/w shot 

My Choice:#2 Pegasus Win/Place 

RACE 3:For horses rated upto 75 over 1000 mts (5yo+) 

STREET MAGIC,STAR ENGAGEMENT,BIG BOSS and PAKAT PAKAT PAKAT..... These are the four horses that I think hold the key to this race. 

Of these horses,my fancy here is Street Magic who has done well in both its previous starts despite having a bad jump,its last two track spurts were gate practices and I hope it breaks level. That's not all,this horse now has positive equipment,visible intent with change in jockey and ofcourse has now dropped ratings and is sitting too close to its last winning mark,thus is my personal fancy 

Keep an eye on Sheridan whose workouts need a lot of attention

My Choice:#1 Street Magic Win 

RACE 4:For horses rated upto 50 over a mile (4yo+) 

A very very competitive race this,because two demotees with 'massive' switches in jockey support in Kohinoor Thunder and Silver Cruise have to fight it out with a resolute last start winner Vijays Victory,a winner of this same class last season over 1800 in Novaya Zemlaya and the always dangerous Jaz Elle. Not to forget the last start second-placed failed favourite in Wolverton 

Kohinoor Thunder certainly looks like the horse that can be termed as a top 'contender',after what seems like a good lung opener the trainer has opted for a top jockey switch and has been subject to two track spurts after that,the horse that may in my opinion give it a fight is Vijays Victory who has been given a good gap after its last victory and now can be expected to do well 

My Choice:#1 Kohinoor Thunder Win 

RACE 5:For horses rated upto 50 (4yo+) 

EIN EIN EIN who follows the same demotee with too jockey is the main contender for this race,this horse will certainly be the one knw should be wary of 

However I feel the likes of Military Belle (last start winner,penalised yet showed lot of promise) Amazing Weapon (suggestive last run,with a change in jockey) and Concours (advantage of carrying low weights with a decent jockey aboar) will make things a tad difficult for the former 

Barring an upset I feel that the race is well between these four

My personal fancy is Milirary Belle who won well last time out,should do well over this slightly extended trip and the running style also suggests the same 

My Choice:#3 Military Belle Win 

RACE 6:For horses rated upto 75 over 1400 mts 

Amazing Approach has two wins in its last three starts,now on promotion and extended distance should be the one they should all look out for as the horse has recent form and age in its favour 

Its main challenge will come from Vijays Triumph who is now getting positive equipment and shoes,with the best saddle artist aboard just cannot be ignored 

Montauk and Lips Locking who are both same class winners are the ones that can hope to do well if either of the above horses fails to perfom 

My Choice:#4 Amazing Approach Win 

RACE 7:A race for horses rated upto 50 over 1400 mts 

CROWN ROYAL who is a last start winner over a mile,now cuts down in trip and is one of the contenders in this race 

This race also has two debutants and they can add spice to this race 

Upon A Star to be ridden by P.S.Chouhan warrants a lot of attention as it has done well over various distances yet a maiden,the change is jockey looks promising enough 

Kohinoor Karishma is the horse that I think has all the chances to better its last performance,it is a maiden winner and now can excel in this trip,keep an eye 

Also KHOSGEL who is a summered horse,failed to live up in the monsoon season,comes into this race with good preperation and as such is my personal fancy in this race 

My Choice:#3 KHOSGEL Win 

RACE 8:A race for horses rated upto 75 over 1400 mts 

DADS DOLLAR who is a easy winner in its last start is on promotion and has the same jockey aboard,as such is the top contender for this race 

Although there is the likes of Aware and Wedding Gift among the older horses (both having good credentials in this race) in my view the danger should come from Golden Essence 

Golden Essence because this horse after its win in the lower class over the same trip has been consistent throughout placing in this very class,now over its winning trip with a decent jockey aboard can hope to make this interesting,a chance bet 

My Choice:#3 Golden Essence Win 

RACE 9:A race for horses rated upto 75 over 1000 mts (5yo+) 

YOURS TRULY who has three previous runs behind elite company is the top contender in this race 

With the likes of Pacific Star and Marquise along with last start winner in the lower class Symbol of Honour in the fray this race throws an open look 

Dusty Lady is a demotee with a change to top jockey and a decent preperation to go by,thus my personal fancy 

My Choice:#1 Dusty lady Win

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in gra...

Mumbai Thursday races 12/12/13 a Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends,                       The mid-week racing card at Mumbai consists a compact card of 7 races,here is my analysis and selections for the day  Race no 1:Class V race over 1200 mts  Ancient Odyssey  which won its last start in the same class over the same distance now gets a positive switch in rider,as most of the field is out of relative form,this horse has a fair chance to repeat here Polar Zone  which has earlier shown some spark is now getting a guidance from a top jockey,has run decently in its previous runs too,no tracks are seen and that is my only worry  But one horse which caught the eye during its last run is  SHOWERS OF HEAVEN, it had a forward run in a large field with Dharmendar on top and was calling the shots until they crossed the 200 mts marker over a 7f trip,now with a benifit of that run and a switch to jockey,shapes as a decent chance bet for the day  MY CHOICE:#...
