Mysore Sunday-Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends, 
                     The extra day being framed by the Mysore Race Club has attracted a card of 9 races,as is my style in the recent past won't be able to analyse the entire card and I have chosen three races for the day,as this is the last racing day of the month (I don't watch Delhi races) I wish it goes on pretty well

Race 5:A class III race over 1400 mts (5yo+) 

NOTE:FOR MYSORE BASED HORSES ONLY 

This race will be closely fought,the likes of Queen and Bourbon Street who are Mumbai imports add certain pep to this race 

The former who has had a tremendously good winding up spurt will be the most fancied runner and rightly so as its last run behind Torch Bearer is one to note 

Bourbon Street has run a belter of a race when it made its seasonal debut,it was over 1400 mts. Now after two runs over 1200 mts,one of them in the upper class and now with a switch in jockey that can termed as 'positive' has the slight edge here in my opinion over the other 

There is No Doubt who has also put in a very good run,the extended trip and the field facing now may add up to its chances 

Ohiyesa did very well to finish second to another Mumbai import named Capri,this horse has come down a lot in weights and the very fact that it has shown little form in its last run is suggestive,now over this trip as an 8 yo this horse might run a very bold race and is my personal fancy 

My Choice:#6 Ohiyesa Win 

RACE 6:A class IV race over 1200 mts 

Jeyems Pride the last start winner in the lower class has the best form coming into this race,the field it faces here is a tad superior yet has an outside chance in this race despite the jockey change 

If consistency is any indicator then Sunday Cruz comes right into contention,this is his 3 rd race in the last ten days,given a chance as it may find itself in the front with this kind of opposition 

However Game Dancer which won at B'lore summer under Bhavani Singh is rather placed well here in this race and may exploit that to score again. Given the fact that the horse of got better off Catch The Eye has done reasonably well,this horse stands a chance too and thus is my personal fancy for this race 

My Choice:#5 Game Dancer Win 

Race 7:For horses rated 60 and above 1400 mts 

Another race where there seems to be a lot of competition 

Last start winner Supreme will be looking to maintain its good form,at these weights is a force to consider 

Then there is the likes of Secret Plan,Absolute Brave,Catharsis etc who might consider themselves as able contenders,the last named horse should not be ignored as it has it in it to do well 

Talisker is another 8 yo,has been a great horse and is giving loads of weight to the field,all may add up to its odds,inspite of all that this horse has that 'class' factor and may spring a minor surprise,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#1 Talisker win

Hello Friends,                          By the time this post gets completed it would be just an hour or two before racetime,anyways hope it helps those who could read it RACE 1: Multigory: won maiden race in his second start and has won class class 4,class 3 and class 53-79 races subsequently,the last two start winner has hit sublime form and is the one to watch out for Jeanine: A first start winner over 5f to clear maidens has subsequently won class 3 and class 2,pune has been a better hunting ground. Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in grade with a chance in
