The Hyderabad Colts Championship

Just like the other day,here is my take on the second classic of the season 

This seems like a more open race than the fillies trial stakes,just like the other race there are some horses in the fray that have their formlines with regard to Be Safe 

The local challenger Silver Phantom,Bangalore raider Bold Manesty and You're Royal Majesty all come into this race having run against the mighty Be Safe 

Then there is the local contingent led by Movie Mughal,Veloz,Carlton and Vijag Viraaj against Bangalore's Spreadeagle and Torch Bearer....... 

While working out the formlines,of the horses that have run behind Be safe,and the relative performance of God Speed and Supreme Fairy,the Bangalore challenger definitely has a slight edge on paper 

However this race is quite open because of two gentlemen,one is trainer Padmanaban,who has Torch Bearer out of a very classy mare Running Flame,his previous run against God Speed cannot be taken as the sole reason to discard him,he can certainly surprise here,keep an eye 

Then the other horse belongs to Pesi Shroff,your royal majesty has taken an unconventional route to this race and having run behind Be Safe three times at various distances,the last race in class IV should be taken as a prep race,can hope to do well 

Its such a open race,my choice is based on Pedigree,Trainer merit,relative formlines etc! May the best horse win

    Carlton'a run in the juvenile million at Bangalore was exceptional,despite giving weight to the entire field,had finished just a length behind the winner...... A stout hearted performance!

    But then i personally feel that this son of Diffident may find the distance beyond its optimal zone and moreover,the subsequent runs of horses that beat it were ordinary

    Thus tge winner whoever it may be should cut a formline from Be Safe and frank its form.......

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run?
