RACE 1:A CLASS V RACE OVER A MILE 

The lone youngster in this set is Cumbre Vieja hasn't done much in its relatively long career for its age,will be a surprise if it puts up a winning gallop here 

Having said that I feel that the race has a good competitive feel about it with MORALS in the fray,it has gone down to THE MYTH early on in the season and again to Ace Fantasy in its last start,the supporters of this horse should hope that he doesn't find one better this time around 

There is the presence of Copperglow who in his last start failed to collar the speedy Dishkayon,now over a trip that may suit it better has a fighting chance 

Chasing Dreams comes into this race with a not so noticeable last run,its seasonal debut was eyecatching and is certainly a live horse here 

Wind and Rain will certainly relish the step up in distance,the stable is firing all guns now and its last start was suggestive,can it win here ? Yes it can. Its chances according to me a little less than the other three horses 

Dream Yuga failed to hold Answer My Prayer's last time out,now will hope to go one better with the now newly grad jockey on the saddle 

Zaan on its lat run planted in the gates,no work since then noticed,hence I ignore 

My personal fancy in this what looks like an open race is Copperglow,because I guess he is now travelling a trip he should be comfortable with and also has a slight advantage to my knowledge over Morals 

MY CHOICE:#1 COPPERGLOW WIN 

RACE 2:A CLASS II RACE OVER 1000 mts 

There is Celcius in this race and also Rajsamman,both horse like to go to the front cut a fast pace and will hope to hold on till the end 

Although it seems like a duel between the two,Sea Treasure and Deep Diver are two horses that cannot be ignored 

Deep Diver has come a close third to Brindaban at the hands of Nirmal Jodha,now in the hands of this claimer can hope to run a good race here and is my personal fancy 

MY CHOICE:#6 DEEP DIVER WIN 

RACE 3:FOR 3 YO MAIDENS OVER 1400 mts 

Simply Sweet who lost to Pepito last time after taking the lead over a 6f is now going over the extra yard,and seems like the best of the lot that have had a run 

Hallelujah was a tad luckless in its last start where its saddle slipped and the horse stopped galloping,has been involved in a mock race after that,don't be surprised if it puts up an improved performance 

Then there are two debutants in Star Lightning and Starry Brook,the latter is bred well and is also prepared quite decently 

My personal fancy is the former,who is a got-abroad,has had a good mock race earlier and is the best prepared in my opinion to win here 

MY CHOICE:#4 STAR LIGHTNING WIN 

RACE 4:A CLASS IV RACE OVER 1800 mts 

Storming Home won its last start in a manner that was simply devastating to the naked eye,now again in the same class after penalty has all chances to repeat here 

Without going much into the details of the other horses,I think I must give this race a skip,my choice is academic and nothing more or nothing less 

MY CHOICE:#1 STORMING HOME WIN 

RACE 5:A RACE FOR CLASS III HORSES OVER 1200 mts 

Capilano,Tammy O,Antartica Zone are the three man contenders in this race,they all are coming into this race with decent form and will be tough to overcome them 

Zenofic who is a failed favourite in the same class during its seasonal debut has run behind some good youngsters,it is recieving weights from a bunch who are on the up,she is back after running with the pace at the Hyderabad fillies and is my personal fancy for this race 

MY CHOICE:#8 ZENOFIC WIN 

RACE 6:THE INDIAN ST.LEGER (Gr.1) OVER 2800 mts 

There is not too much to write about both the fancied horses here,their form is very much known to a normal race goer 

Here is how I am approaching this 'BATTLE OF THE YEAR',the filly is in some tremendrous form has never upstaged the great Alaindair and is an overwhelming favourite here to do so.... 

Alaindair on the other hand is well rested,and has advertised his fitness by winning the President of India cup in taking style 

To be honest with you,this race is worth watching without taking any sides and watch the story unravel Infront of your eyes

Being a little brave here,my choice is Alaindair,yes the filly has come up a lot and is a serious challenger here but I feel the champion he is should run a bold race here 

All said and done,am so excited about this clash and wish that the race is as exciting as we think about it and provide us with something that we would cherish for days to come....

MY CHOICE:#1 ALAINDAIR WIN 

RACE 7:A RACE FOR CLASS IV HORSES OVER 1000 mts 

Quantum has a fair chance here,bound for second life time improvement and going over a slightly shorter trip here 

Lovable Locks and Mystical Dancer are two horses that can be expected to show up on a good note here,the latter has the trainer-jockey combination and has a change in equipment 

Have a look at Skyjet who is now getting a mighty switch in jockey support and is certainly the horse that can spring up a minor surprise here 

Talking about surprises,Trending the sparingly raced gelding has shown out in its last run before getting withdrawn,his gate jumps are highly suggestive and is my personal fancy in this race 

MY CHOICE:#3 TRENDING WIN/PLACE

RACE 8:A RACE FOR CLASS IV HORSES OVER 1000 mts

Three 3 yo's are seen in the top of the scales and one at the bottom,to be fair to you all run here with decent chances 

Play Fair has once come behind the classic winning filly Maisha,a must in combination pool hunters 

Heart Of The City who has a run in this class was rather unlucky last time out to lose after hitting the front,hope there is none to worry about this time for its backers,last track spurt advertises its capability of speed 

Locarno and Born To Win are contrasting horses,I personally feel that the latter will find it a tad difficult if not impossible to repeat here,facing an experienced bunch 

Of the older horses the one that comes into my reckoning is scarlet of Hope who has run behind Tammy O in a race run at a very fast clip,with a change in rider to the now newly Graduated jockey Yash,which I feel is positive has a very good chance in this race and is my personal fancy 

MY CHOICE:#6 SCARLET OF HOPE WIN

RACE 9:A CLASS V RACE OVER 1200 mts 

The Last race of this classic day,Spear of Trium,Bella Figura (coming out of a lay-off) and Adams Wing all come into my contention here in this race 

My personal fancy however is Ocean Dream who comes into this race with an almost more than good chance of clearing her maiden status,bred well has raced decently too
