RACE 1:A class V race over 1800 mts 

A lower class race with 7 races to start off the day,NIGELLA on its third to Answer My Prayer's will be the one they all have to beat on known recent form coming into this race 

Last run of Porto Banus was way below expectations,can be expected to put a better show here,if it wins will be a minor surprise to me 

Then there is Arzaan who is a very old horse,but has won this trip last Mumbai season,may well be the horse for fluke seekers 

Then there is the duo of youngsters,of the two Starry Moment definitely scores over with its mockrace and another easy track spurt,with a claimer on top should do well over this extended trip and is my personal fancy for this race. 

MY CHOICE:#2 STARRY MOMENT WIN

RACE 2:A class II race over 1600 mts 

Honestly,this race is quite open 

Haunting Moments,although ran into two very good horses in its last two outings,is placed well on promotion and this filly with its running style coupled with weights off its back is the horse they all have to look out for in this set 

There is MONZA,CELTIC KING,SUPERLICIOUS and HONEST PLEASURE four credible challengers in this race 

Superlicious's last run was eye-catching and it needs lot of attention over this trip 

However,Honest Pleasure whose seasonal debut was eye-catching ran a poor last race,now with a change in equipment and switch in saddle support to Sandesh,worth taking a chance and thus is personal fancy here 

MY CHOICE:#5 HONEST PLEASURE WIN 

Race 3:A race for class I horses over 1200 mts

Five horses in this weights raised race for class I horses,where are the other sprinters ? 

Alright,in this small field of five what will make the race is the pace of the race. 

Rio merits strong consideration here,even with this jockey,this 5 furlong wonder horse has ran some decent races in the near past over 6 and 7 furlongs.... The weights it will carry here will be to its advantage 

Am ruling out Celcius and Mykonos here,but won't be surprised if they score here 

Of the other two horses,Moon Shadow's run behind Papakura merits attention as it lost out in the last furlong 

Mint Approach once the conqueror of Alaindair (has failed subsequently many times) comes into this race whilst losing its only start this season to Janis Jay,now I am hoping that forward run plus the weights coupled with jockey merit to see her through,especially when she is facing a modest lot here. My personal fancy 

My Choice:#5 Mint Approach win

RACE 4:A class IV race over 2400 mts 

Sword of Honour and Dixie Delight are coming out of the same race and the latter is now better placed in my opinion and is the horse to be beaten here 

Unico Corazon and Exactly are winners of their respective races in the lower class and it would be prudent to see how they perform here despite having two ace jockeys to steer them here 

Thus it leaves us with Oxbridge,can this horse once trained by Ace trainer finally make amends here ? I hope so,because it was a much improved performance last time around during the PRA INDEPENCE MILLION and now even with weights reversed with respect to Dixie Delight,I feel that this horse can pull it off here,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#5 Oxbridge Win 

RACE 5:For maiden 3 yo only over 1000 mts 

Maiden races especially over a sprint rely upon two factors 

A)Pedigree B)Trackwork 

There are quite a number of horses in the Indian circuit who are known to throw speedy horses,for example Phoenix Tower

Thus on that count Dreamz Unlimited comes straight into contention in this race,it has the best form of horses who come from this sireline 

Then there is English Lass and Joeleene who can make a race out of it 

But then,friends let me tell you that this race is more open than you think,especially because two debutants in Alderly Edge and Quatro have it in them to cause an upset 

MY CHOICE:#6 QUATRO WIN 

RACE 6:TERMS RACE FOR 3yo Only 

THE S.A.POONAWALLA MULTI MILLION 

Another open race,eight horses in the fray and almost the whole field has credentials to score here 

But then as always one has to look at credible formlines

Vision Of Romance stands out on that count,has come second to the near invincible Be Safe once and to Quasar in the Mumbai season,is certainly the horse to beaten more so because he won another million in this center. He has strong credentials here 

Then there is Zodiac,who in her second lifetime start ran second to WAR COMMAND,again in low weights is a danger to all 

Then there is the trio of Flashing Cheiftan,Royal Passion and Rule Down Under 

Of these three Royal Passion is the one that has shown out in its performances,especially after faltering against Tiger Tops,the filly has run two times and won easily on both occasions 

Zachary course and distance winner,class is a ? New sire if it wins will be a boost to the freshmen stallion 

Then there is the proverbial joker in Jack Frost

My selection is Royal Passion,because this filly has run some game races,in this open looking race I hope she puts her best foot forward. 

MY CHOICE:#3 Royal Passion win 

RACE 7:CLASS III race over 1400 mts 

Edith Piaf comes into this race having run two game races this season,this is the one they all have to beat here despite the fact that her forte is 6 furlongs 

Romeo ran a close third against Cactus Cash,now with drop in distance and change in pilot to Sandesh,warrants strong attention 

But then Halle and Ice Zone are two horses that can prove to be quite worthy in this race,the latter especially after running behind the too good Adam in the upper class is taking a jump down in class,the trainer-jockey combination have scored a winner not long ago and it won't surprise me any bit if they strike again,my personal fancy 

MY CHOICE:#2 ICE ZONE WIN 

RACE 8:CLASS III RACE OVER 1000 mts (5yo+) 

Pepe Senior is jumping down in class and having a change in pilot,the horse they all have to beat here 

SONG OF AFRICA,PASSION PRINCE and even PITBULL come into contention here 

But DREAMLINER who failed to carry the public purse to victory on opening day,is a known speedy customer and now in these weights and with this jockey,cannot be ignored. My personal fancy
