Mysore 04/09/14 Analysis and Selections

Race 1:Class V race over 1400 mts

For Mysore Based Horses only

On the outset this race looks very open, the winner in my opinion should be from The Alchemist,Shades of Scarlet,Brigades Paradise,Rosie's Dream or Rocket Ronnie

Quite a long list, that's exactly why I believe that this race is wide open

The Alchemist on record has fared well in class IV,first run in class V with a huge switch in saddle support means this horse has got a fair chance to do well here

Of the other horses, the one that may be able to extend the former or may even get the better of it is Rosies Dream, also gets a switch in saddle support, has been tracking well and has come down a lot in ratings, thus is my personal fancy in this very open race

My Choice:#9 Rosie Dream Win/Place

Race 2:For class IV horses over 1800 mts

Fortaleza, gets a saddle switch to Neeraj Rawal, over a 9f trip the progeny of Razeen is the first horse to catch my eye

Then there is the presence of Arun, who has been knocking at the door for quite a long time now,the outsider in this race

And not to forget Nanuk, who is now trained by a Mysore trainer who gets a rather decent chance in this race after essaying the same distance at Bangalore with a jockey switch here is certainly the horse to be beaten

However,Passing Fulcrum won his last outing pretty well, clearing the maiden ranks pretty well, now entrusted to the same jockey and going over extended distance carrying top weight, this horse has a fair chance to win here primarily because the field is filled with horses which haven't shown much spark and despite winning pretty well, the horse in my opinion is lucky enough to race in the same class. However, what may prove negative is the weights it is supposed to carry and the distance suitability factor which to be frank with you is clearly not known in his case, yet he is my personal fancy for this race

My Choice:#1 Passing Fulcrum Win

Race 3:A class IV race over 1400 mts (5yo+)

This race has a horse which I have been persisting to perform for a long time now in Inspirator,my follow horse

This race also has a sizzling start to finish winner over the same distance at the Bangalore Summer season in Jewel Lady in the lower class, with the draw favourable this time around is one of the main contenders in this race

Red Admiral who has come down alarmingly low in the ratings and The First Bullet both will have their own share of supporters and rightly so......

But the horse that can really make this race very interesting is Shoot Out,who has been running some suggestive races in recent times and with a change in saddle support,is certainly the horse to be beaten in this set

However,I have been following Inspirator for sometime now, goes over a distance it has won before and also its last but one run was highly suggestive, with a jockey who has already scored a winner earlier this season,my money would ride on Inspirator

My Choice:#8 Inspirator win

Race 4:A Class III race over 1200 mts (5yo+)

Sherlock Holmes, who came to Bangalore from Mumbai after change in ownership and stables gets a wonderful chance here to redeem to winning ways, the jockey hasn't been declared yet while I am writing post, yet is the horse to beaten in this set

Amazon Bay has ran some good races, what's interesting to note is that the horse after winning in class III has languished in class IV and is now taking on superior class with respect to its form,at low weights can spring a minor surprise

Mountain Dancer is also a top contender in this race, keep an eye

However please have a look at Abstract Art,who is now running on demotion with a decent jockey aboard, last gate practice was good and is running over a distance the horse is certainly comfortable with, the only chink in its armour would be that this horse has not raced for long,my personal fancy for this race

My Choice:#2 Abstract Art win

Race 5:Class IV race over 1200 mts (4yo+)

Note:For Mysore Horses Only

Three horses standout in this set,Zizzi,Born For Passion and Coffe Time

Born For Passion is certainly the horse to be beaten in this set, last win was mighty impressive in the lower class, the very fact that the trainer has opted to run within a week is certainly to cash in on its current form

Zizzi won the opener of the season which had youngsters, not facing horses of own age, cannot be ruled out

However the horse that impresses me is Coffe Time, ran behind Woodberg a week ago,now racing local horses alone. Last spurt is highly suggestive of a good show and thus is my personal fancy for this race

My Choice:#6 Coffe Time win

Race 6:Class III race over 1200 mts (5yo+)

Another open race,WhistleJacket who won its pat but one start is the horse that I consider to be the one they all have to beat in this set

Veyron sitting at the bottom of the scales is certainly the main challenger here in this race

There is however Hillsboro who has certainly seen greater class and is coming into this race on the back of a very good gate practice,a top contender here no doubt

However please have a look at Scenic Blast, seems like the Darkhorse in the fray, there is no denying the fact that its previous runs are far from impressive, but its record shows that this horse has it in it to cause a minor upset here and is my personal fancy for this race

My Choice:#4 Scenic Blast win/place

Race 7:For class I horses over 1200 mts

The horse to be beaten here is without any doubt Light Of Success, drawn on the inside, this filly which posses blinding early speed will certainly try to exploit that advantage

The challengers are too many, including Whispering Gallery,Secret Punch and last start winner Virat (don't ignore this horse, knows the track like no other)

However I feel that Ishpingo regardless of the edge his opponents have over him,has a fair chance to pull this off especially with Srinath doing duty on him, based on his previous glittering record is my personal fancy for this race

My Choice:#3 Ishpingo For win

Race 8:For 3 yo maidens only over 1400 mts

This maiden race over seven furlongs is an interesting affair, barring a huge upset the winner should come from the three Bangalore based horses in Flames of Passion,Speed Hawk and To The Future

Flames of Passion is certainly the horse to be beaten on paper, goin with negative shoes and different saddle support, yet don't be surprised if it wins

To The Future is bred well, has scope to do well, especially when the field is filled with horses like the one above

However they all have to beat Speed Hawk, last run was suggestive and over this distance may well clear its maidens

My Choice:#6 Speed Hawk Win

Race 9:Class IV horses over 1400 mts (5yo+)

The last race of the day,Spanish Fly is sure to attract a lot of attention an rightly so,but I have my own doubts on this horse

Presidents Rule,Volans are two horses that can prove to be party spoiler to the primary fancy in this race

Right On Time, form is not its strong point yet a change in shoes means there is intent,my personal fancy for this race

My Choice:#9 Right on time win/place

Have a nice day gamble responsibly

Note:Investment Plan will be posted seperately before 11 am today
