BANGALORE 20/12/13 analysis and selections
Hello Friends,
A good card of eight races have been framed for the day, here is my bit of analysis and personal preferences for the day
RACE NO 1:A class III race over 1400 mts (4yo+)
Roshan Star, who after two runs in the same class is placed well here, its last run last week behind Nessie is suggestive of a good show,is a contender here
Sunny Express which gets a positive switch in saddle support is also to be noted here, especially as it has put in some decent track spurts
Carducci has also some good runs this season under its belt and can prove to be a good outsider here
But COCKTAIL CIRCUIT,which returned to the Bangalore track a couple of runs ago amidst a long lay-off will enjoy this distance the most and with the opposition here can hope to win and give Louis Beuzelin his first win
MY CHOICE:#5 COCKTAIL CIRCUIT FOR WIN
RACE NO 2:A class V race over a mile
Whimsical which has now been demoted is working well on the tracks and with the same jockey astride and some relative good form compared to others is the horse that stands out here, the only question is can it sustain the weight over this mile
Of the other horses Glamour Boy,Oriental King,Nations Glory and Byronic appeal
Oriental King has no form to go by yet has been tracking well and please keep an eye on the odds
Nations Glory gets a top rider in the saddle and is also tracking well, the trainer-jockey combination is good and can give a good account of itself here
Glamour boy had earlier run a close second in the same class over 1400 then ran in the upper class and is now back again in the lower class,on that account stands a chance here
Byronic has been putting in some good track spurts, has finished a rather good 3rd over 1400 mts in last but previous start,on account of that run and the weight it will give to the eventual fancied horse and age factor, can be a good e/w bet
My choice:#8 Byronic for win/place
RACE NO 3:A class III race over 1400 mts (4yo+)
Igah Igah Igah which has been running some consistent races in its recent outings shapes as the horse to be beaten here.
Supreme has run a blinder of a race in its last run,won easy and on promotion can expect it to put another decent show, especially with the same jockey in the saddle
Also, there is Gun Salute which gets a massive switch in saddle support, thus stands a fighting chance here
But Arabian Gold which ran a good race with youngsters in its last outing is now pitched in a class of its same age group, the distance will suit its style of running and on that count appeals here the most
MY CHOICE:#3 ARABIAN GOLD FOR WIN
RACE NO 4:A class II race over 1200 mts
MR CARPE which just lost after leading the most of the way in a class II affair last time out shapes as the leading contender for the prime spot
With Violent Storm and CATAMARAN in the fray, the race has an open look to it
Light of success which won in the same class over the same trip this season is a horse that can hit the front and can go on from there, with the winning jockey again on its back looks like another such show is not ruled out
Solitaire Royale who is also another speedy customer, always comes from behind his last win at Mysore was quite impressive as it covered a lot of leeway in the final 100 metres again with PSC on the saddle has a very good chance here to repeat
MY CHOICE:#5 SOLITAIRE ROYALE FOR WIN
RACE NO 5:A CLASS IV race over 1100 mts
SMOKEY SID which failed to place in its last run after leading for most of the way now gets a claimer on top and on that note is a serious contender here
BEL ETOILE which had to confront the too good Gagan Star on its last outing now promotes itself and has a decent chance here
so does Cash My Way who had a claimer to guide its fortunes, after winning in maiden class and running in class III races now races a relatively easier set, should care well here
Of the older lot Super Saloni which had some smart money coming on it last time out, lost in the final furlong again after leading for most of the way and on that score can spring a win here
But Smokey Sid seems to deserve another chance especially with the burden being less this time can hope to put its best foot forward
MY CHOICE:#1 SMOKEY AID FOR WIN
RACE NO 6:A TERMS RACE FOR 3 YO OVER 1200 mts
CRISTOFFE which has put in some decent track spurts and decent runs in class II races now gets a change in saddle support to Louis Beuzelin
Its only adversary in this set seems to be Valerian, ironically both from the same yard,Valerian has PSC in the saddle and has done well after winning its maiden race
But CRISTOFFE inspite of giving weight to the opponents looks like the best horse and should run 1/2
MY CHOICE:#1 CRISTOFFE FOR WIN
RACE NO 7:A CLASS IV RACE OVER 1400 mts
The winner should in most probability come from this trio of ACE EMPRESSJESSIE INDICATIONAND MANTRA
MANTRA retains its jockey and seems to be working well in the tracks
ACE EMPRESS JESSIE the lower class winner which won in impressive fashion took a double promotion and is now on demotion on basis of its last spurt raises hopes of a good show
INDICATION ran nowhere in its last start but as it is evident from the track spurts has an excellent chance to redeem its ways here, especially in this kind of a set can score a win
MY CHOICE:#6 INDICATION FOR WIN
RACE NO 8:A CLASS III race over 1400 mts (5yo+)
Salsa Touch a same class winner against OPTIMUS ZONE a lower class winner is the match up here.
With superior saddle support and being a winner in the same class Salsa Touch is my choice for this race!
MY CHOICE:#1 SALSA TOUCH FOR WIN
DAY's BEST:SOLITAIRE ROYALE
GOOD BETS:CRISTOFFE/COCKTAIL CIRCUIT/INDICATION
HAVE A NICE DAY,gamble responsibly
Last two days for you and your followers were disastrous. Your Mumbai selections were perhaps the worst ever since you started your blog. To achieve success in horse racing is hard but the manner in which your selections are failing is perhaps harder to believe.
