Analysis and Selections for Bangalore races 28/12/13

RACE NO 1:A race for class IV horses over 1400 mts

Austin which makes its debut here, seems to be very well prepared going by its prep and with Sandesh on its back has a fair chance to score on debut

However the presence of Aceangelfire which now has the pull in weights thanks to the claimer on top and Tradition who has every chance of improving on its last chance look like immediate threats

However,Seven Of Hearts seems to be prepared well too with two gate practices (for it's slow starts) over 1400 mts and that should have made the horse fit and ready for this race, thus has a fighting chance in this race

MY CHOICE:#3 Seven of Hearts win/place

RACE NO 2:A race for 2 yo horses over 1200 mts

On breeding alone Schiavone stands alone in this set, although the workouts aren't pleasing atleast to me,I do expect this horse to do well, given the bloodlines

Big Ticket is working well, making its debut and has a top jockey aboard, runs with a very good chance here

Time and Space has the ability to upset here, from the same dam of Turf Lightning and coupled with some good tracks is the dark horse here, keep an eye

But then the horse they all have to beat is Apollo Star, especially as its first win was impressive, being the lone winner among some promising debutants may throw in some doubts, put purely based on its last run should improve on its performance and put up another win

MY CHOICE:#1 Apollo Star win

RACE NO 3:Class V race over 1400 mts

Woodberg,Boltscolt both have been performing poorly in the maiden races and are now seen in the lowest class race, the former is tracking extremely well and the latter has a more decent jockey aboard

Then there is Lucky Thirteen which is now running on demotion and will be ridden by Sreekant again, also tracking well and has a good chance in pulling it off here

Quarter Cask,Royal Romario and Mister Grey are also horses capable of winning here but somehow of the other don't please as the first three horses

My Choice:#1 Woodberg for win

Race no 4:A class IV race over 1400 mts

Bering Sea on account of its preperations, the jockey on top and the weights it will carry is the horse that has to be beaten here,Bering Sea will get stiff competition from these two horses in

Dance With Me,a winner in the same class over the same trio in its last start, penalised rather heavily and no tracks after the run are things against it,but the manner of victory was impressive and don't be surprised if it puts on a similar show

Masked Marvel which is also a last start winner over a slightly shorter trip,is showing well on the tracks and is now being ridden by the same jockey again, going by its spurts looks like a horse that has a very good chance to repeat

MY CHOICE:#7 Masked Marvel for win

Race no 5:A class IV race over 1200 (4yo+)

Jeyems pride,Aaleyah,Gift of Love,Arthur and Super Saloni are the horses that stand a very realistic chance in this race

Arthur which is tracking extremely well seems like the horse everyone has to beat here

Super Saloni which is putting some consistent performances in its last 3 runs now gets a claimer in the saddle, thus on basis of that I am inclined to take a chance on this horse as some of its previous runs have been pretty forward

My Choice:#9 Super Saloni for win

Race no 6:A class III race over 1200 mts (4yo+)

Wrekin on jockey switch and its previous good record is one amongst the contenders here in this race

Samara Sun which is on its second run after demotion has a realistic chance in this race, also there is Lad's Ability another demotee who is now well with in its last winning rating and will be the dark horse here

Although there are other horses that can pose a danger in Sweet Secret and Scenic Blast

The last start winner in Cocktail Circuit has been retained I the same class and the trainer has given an entry within the same week as to exploit the form of the horse for another win and on that count is my personal choice for this race

My Choice:#2 Cocktail Circuit for win

Race no 7:A class II race over 1800 mts

Applejack has beaten a decent youngster in its last outing and with that performance in mind and its ability to easily stay the trip appears to be the horse to be beaten on form here.

Supreme Regime is the mystery horse in this field and it had played the role of a front running pacemaker in its few prev starts, will be interesting to see how this horse runs over this trip

Its vanquisher Madame Bovary also has a decent chance here primarily because of the manner of victory in its last start, once again the ? Is over its distance capability

Then there is Arrogant Approach which has run with some top horses, the distance may suit this horse (in my very honest opinion needs longer trips) but on class alone stands tall in this set, especially when it is carrying low weights with a decent jockey on-board

My Choice:#8 Arrogant Approach for Win

Race no 8:A class IV race over 1200 mts (4yo+)

Fioritta which was shocked by a Mysore horse on debut, seems to be working well and on these weights has a fair chance to score here, although I would wait and see its performance here

Sweet Angel incidentally from the same yard is a winner in the lower class and finished second in its last start and now with that form should not be ignored here

Alpine Shine is a same class winner at Mysore and has a benifit of a single run here, as the set is relatively modest can do well here

and then there is Blues Legend and Firestorm in this race both of whom can pull off and thus gives this race a very open picture

Then there is Inspirator who can prove good if he takes a good jump, has a realistic chance to score in this field too

With too many horses that has a chance in the fray it is quite an open race,my chance in this race is an e/w bet on Blues Legend as I feel it can surprise after having a run benifit with youngsters earlier in the season

My Choice:#8 Blues Legend win/place

Race no 9:Class III race over 1400 mts

Strength and Wonder purely because of the weights its supposed to carry and its decent show in the lower class over the same trip shapes as the horse that everyone should beat here

Lovely Lady made a trip to Pune and is now running at Bangalore, feel the horse is placed relatively well in this set

Guts and Glory which has changed stables earlier won over the same trip impressively and in that count has an outside chance here

Cool Baby the only youngster to win in this class, gets a negative switch in saddle and shoes, why change equipments which one it has won,no body knows

That leads us to Accuracy who is now seeing a handicap class for the first time yet canno be completely ruled out and Cullinan which on these weights especially after its last run where it finished fourth in the same class looks like the one that can pull it off

My Choice:#8 Cullinan for win

Day's Best:Masked Marvel

Good Bets:Cullinan/Apollo star/Arrogant Approach

Have a nice day gamble responsibly
