Nov 21-Calcutta Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends,
November has not been so good analytically for yours truly, with rains threatening races at Bangalore the action for this week on this week is exclusively in the city of joy,Winter's first classicThe Calcutta 1000 Guineas 2015 (Gr.3),will  be the feature event on what promises to be an interesting day of thoroughbred racing

RACE 1:Say You Say Me,has the services of top jockey and is out of WinLegend catches my eyes first in this baby race, the horse has been subject to only two track spurts and that is a little cause of concern otherwise this horse on breeding alone should run a good one,Cielo Del Este is the now who seems well prepared going by track work,he must be forward enough to run a bold one here,Hondo Monterey looks like the surprise package.

My Choice:#1 Cielo Del Este Win

RACE 2:Zacara,who is a winner in this class previously has had two forgettable outings in the near past and is getting the same rider who partnered it last time as a favourite and is one of the strongest contenders in this race,Dancehall Days who is running one class inferior from where his last win came from is the real danger in this race especially at this distance which has been his forte as he is been tracking wee keep an eye on him and then there is Words who is a very good sprinter too has a run benefit this season and will be the one that could run a big un here in my opinion especially with lots of younger horses in the fray the limelight would be obviously away, the youngsters such as Anastasio, being a mumbai import puts him at complete disadvantage here along with Ace Amadus whose last run was good enough but is getting a change in jockey and Supreme Ruler who has been running some game races too all come under contention, thus its a tough call to make here Distance suitability and most of all run benefit makes Words a worthy contender here according to me and is a good each way chance

My Choice:#10 Words Win/Place

RACE 3:Bold Legacy, true has been on a roll so far,can it win in class II against seasoned horses is a ? more so because what it beat last time looked pedestrian,Hudson Hawk the old mumbai import stole a march last time over 1400 and now over 1100 a repeat seems very much on the cards,Analyst,Alondra and Meekathara are some of the horses that look like very good challengers in this race I must confess that Analyst is also in a good run of form and just cannot be sidelined however it is Meekathara who has run in class I,getting a positive change in jockey and despite its layoff has been showing out in tracks and gets my first vote in another open affair

My Choice:#2 Meekathara Win/Place

RACE 4:Stevalena and Captain haddock are the two horses that interest me in this race, both are coming out of the same race and the former is already a winner in this same class over the same trip and will be the strongest contender in this race on sheer breeding alone however Captain Haddock being a non winner may try to gain an upper hand going by two factor the weights which is in his advantage this time and a very good last run in a graded race where he eventually set up the race for his stablemate,Wahaca is also another

My Choice:#4 Captain Haddock Win

RACE 5:Cameron,from southern India is the strong contender here especially with her performances in terms races and before that a three time back to back winner is the one they all have to beat here,Suzanna another Bangalore Summer campaigner and Glamarously who finished second in the Filles trail during monsoon are the ones that look like probable challengers,on paper Cameron looks a cinch to lift the guineas

My choice:#3 Cameron Win

RACE 6:Free Energy,Gentle Knowledge,Bullet these three horses has it in them to win here in my opinion which otherwise looks like a very closely fought affair,Bullet who has a run benefit over 1400 this season was a front runner there and the change in jockey to Dashrath now,my personal fancy

My Choice:#5 Bullet Win

RACE 7:Arminius,Gimme Credit and Fire Song,Midnight Magic, four local horses with form on their side against a mumbai import makes it a statistically one sided affair hugely in favour of local horses,of them Gimme Credit would have been running in class II but for the seasonal drop in points and its once vanquisher Fire Song is also running on a rich vein of form may try to dominate the proceedings, however there is a dark un in this race in War Games who is now clearly having reverse handicap in it favour may run a big un here provided the right intent is there and as such is a good each way chance in this race

My Choice:#2 War Games Win/Place

Good Bet(s):Captain Haddock,Bullet

HAVE A GOOD DAY :)

INVESTMENT PLAN,which was quite a feature of this blog earlier is 'back',unlike odds which were the criteria before which were not uniform and a lot of differences have decided to follow the dividends as such seen on Bangalore tote,Asusual like old times, the investment plans are not a recommendation and it is rather a way of self assessment for the 'author'........ Would like to open with a Bankroll of 25,000 and hope when racing ends during the month of April we don't run into red...... There is no intention of making this blog a 'paid' blog, blogging is matter of fact more of a self-help than anything else..... Let's see if we could beat the game or game beats us.....
BANKROLL-25000
TODAY's INVESTMENTS

1)CAPTAIN HADDOCK WIN 1000
