Bangalore 27/11/15 Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends,
If Nature permits for which we should for some more hours we may finally get some action on the BTC's turf, hopefully if that does happen then we are in for some good action

Race 1:A race for 3yo maidens over 1400m

Gabino,Hurrah,Silver Legend,Super Class and King Smile five possible contenders and on a closer look I feel that the last three may have the upper hand

Jocky S.John who was a top flight jockey is making a comeback after a long gap and it would be advisable to see what his riding weight is before wagering,my choice is however Silver Legend who was a failed favourite during its debut and is now seemingly well prepared and should run a good race here

My Choice:#8 Silver Legend Won

Race 2:A race for class IV horses over 1100m [Div.II]

Atlantis and Dignified almost from the same stables are the two horses that catch the eye here the former has the stables first choice on duty and as such would be the prime fancy here

of the others Mariko, who has done his bit at mysore is running here with the same jockey repeating and on preps looks a good un despite the outer draw.Super Power should have been in strong contention here especially looking at his last but one run

My Choice:#3 Mariko Win

Race 3:A race for class IV horses over 1400m [Div.II]

Freestyle,Granada and Admiral Messi are the three horses that appeal to me on first look

Freestyle is getting a top jockey on him and as such should be respected also that his last run was against the too good Sea Lord he comes into contention rather by default

Granada looks like a horse that is too-good in this set,the owner-jockey combination works well too and preparations are good and hence is my personal fancy

My Choice:#7 Granada Win

Race 4:A race for maiden 3yo over 1400m

I've Got Clout,Livin on a prayer,Stormont and Augustina are the four horses that look like possible contenders here

I've Got Clout would be the local handicappers pick given the fact that it is rated high,Chouhan in the saddle will be another added boost

of the three other horses it is Stormont which looks like having an edge according to me

A very open affair this my fancy is Stormomt to run a good one

My Choice:#6 Stormont Win

Race 5:A class II race over a mile

Heaven is Here and Super Sunshine, two 3yos should basically attract the attention both of whom are making their class II debut and infact their handicap races are confined to 3yo only races

I think of the two the latter with a benefit of run looks well placed in this set

Of the 4yo's Lucia is always there but with a claimer in a competitive field looks some sort of a disadvantage

Connemara the filly with a run benefit behind New Alliance earlier in the season and PSC having won with top weight in the lower class at Bangalore Summer looks an imminent threat here being a class II winner earlier in its career

My Choice:#2 Connemara Win

Race 6:A class III race over 1200m (4yo+)

Our little dragon although on promotion looks like the one that has to be considered seriously in this class III affair so is Volcano who is on a demotion looking like threat here

Good fruit and Glittering are coming out of the same race and the latter with that run as a guideline looks better and with Arshad Alam in the saddle for this trainer cannot be discounted

Take a look at Fair Game, true that the jockey is a ? but at these weights is definitely a strong contender here and being a runner with youngsters looks like the good un here and is my personal fancy

My Choice:#2 Fair Game Win/Place

Race 8:A class IV race over 1400m (Div.I)

Ophelia who won a good race to clear its maidens have been exposed to a run in higher class over a mile and now dropping back in class and distance should be the one to look out for in this race

True that Sir Majestic is going over 300m extra from his last winning distance but with top jockey on duty one cannot deny that he's in contention too

Pearl Harbour who came a flying second to Janeiro on Maharaja Cup Day during Bangalore summer also is a contender as he has been subject to a gate jump and horses of this trainer are worth keeping an eye

Then there is Swiss Eagle who has been running some game races and also at bottom of the scales with Imran Chisty in the saddle and cannot be ignored

My Choice:#4 Ophelia Win

Race 9:A calss IV race over 1100m (Div.I)

Danburite,Akha Teej,Neymar and last start winner Countrys Pride are the four horses that appeal on first view

Country Pride won at mysore in the same class and as it is retained in the same class and has top jockey on duty it is a contender

Neymar still being a maiden is blessed with early speed and as such is a danger to all

The first three named horses have almost amongst themselves atleast once and Danburite thus seem to have an edge but for the last run

However Trevor who won on Akha Teej and also as the horse likes to sit behind the pace the draw might not be an issue and as such is my personal fancy here

My Choice:#3 Akha Teej Win
