14/11/2015 Calcutta Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends, 
                        The weather did play spoilsport with respect to Bangalore racing and we have had an extended racing holidays stretching from tuesday to friday,with weather permitting we might well have racing on saturday at calcutta,here is my take on the races for tomorrow and personal fancies

RACE 1:Earnest Ruler,who has run in very good company earlier on in its career is now running with a long lay-off and is seemingly prepared well and as such is the horse they all have to look out for in this race,Cayman Islands,although looks a very good contender in this race I guess he has to wait for his turn later on in the season,so that leaves us out with Cafe Rio and Imara,the former is seemingly working well on the trial tracks last run is suggestive of a liking to extended ground and has a decent jockey in the saddlle and thus is my personal fancy in the opener of the day

My Choice:#5 Cafe Rio Win 

 RACE 2:Xperience and Passionate,two winners in the current cold weather season at hastings have what some call 'run benefit coupled with form' going for them,however the penalty imposed on them for their wins may try to neutralise their advantage,of the other horses in the fray Breach Candy which has been running with front-running tactics in its last two runs over 6 and 7 furlongs respectively is now taking a dip in distance and has earlier registered a good show over the same distance,the trainer-jockey combo however was statistically a disaster during monsoon however this horse may try to warm up things for them in the cold weather season and is my personal fancy,Ivy is certainly the surprise package in the fray

My Choice:#8 Breach Candy Win 

 RACE 3:Raw Silk,by virtue of running third in the higher class and now dropping down in class might well be one of the strongest contenders in this race,he has to however contend with two youngsters in Fite of Honour,who cantered home last time out over 5.5f and is placed well again in the same class and a change in equipment to check the drifting out and Lucky Streak who is now aiming for a hat-trick albeit in the same class which only few horses will get a chance to attempt and as such is my personal fancy in what looks a curious race otherwise

My Choice:#3 Lucky Streak Win

 RACE 4:Noverro,Adzukis and Speedy Gonsalves the three youngsters should run for the winner spot in this race barring an upset,of the three Noverro who could be termed lucky enough once again to be retained in this very class and earlier got the better of stablemate Captain Cook,who went onto win the derby may well run at cramped odds however is my personal fancy atleast for academic purposes

My Choice:#2 Noverro Win 

 RACE 5:Evesham who came off the pace to win in what seemed a ver good win to the eye against the likes of stablemate Deserving Visit who looks a strong challenger along with the controversial Agatta and Silver Streak the Mumbai import makes it such an interesting race,however on paper atleast it will take a very good horse to beat Evesham in the kind of form he has struck

My Choice:#1 Evesham Win 

 RACE 6:Captain Cook and SetAflame the 1-2 in the derby face off once again and the derby winner may again have the upper hand in my opinion over the guineas trip which might very well be the lead up for the upcoming classics for both the horses

My Choice:#5 Captain Cook Win

 RACE 7:Top Line,who is going to run in the same class again after winning its last run and is stepping up in trip is placed extremely well in the scales and such is one of the strong points in the day,the presence of Royal Brute who is an upper class runner and the two youngsters in Jorell and Bindass may try to make things hard for Top Line

 My Choice:#8 Top Line Win 

 GOOD BET(s):3-3 Lucky Streak 
                          7-8 Top Line

Hello Friends,                          By the time this post gets completed it would be just an hour or two before racetime,anyways hope it helps those who could read it RACE 1: Multigory: won maiden race in his second start and has won class class 4,class 3 and class 53-79 races subsequently,the last two start winner has hit sublime form and is the one to watch out for Jeanine: A first start winner over 5f to clear maidens has subsequently won class 3 and class 2,pune has been a better hunting ground. Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in grade with a chance in
