Mumbai 03/11/15 Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends,
                        Before anything else here is two things I wish to convey first deep condolences on the passing away of Racing Baron Dr.MAM Ramasamy and second I hope all our friends at Chennai are safe in what seems like an event of disastrous proportions

Race 1:A race for maiden 3yos only over 1400m

 Natural Gift,who ran behind Make Way For Me in his last start the winner having won again at Calcutta makes him one of the key contenders in this race

Khayyam a debutant from the top yard has been subject to some decent preparation and as such is a live-force in this race

Velvet Amari,who has been in contention for quite sometime now has run a poor race last time out and as such should not be neglected as it has been the experienced of the lot

My Choice:#2 Khayyam Win 

 Race 2:A race for class IV horses over 2400m

 Danse Debonaire and Savage Garden are two long distance horses who have two top jockeys on them and as such should not be neglected here

Then there is the pair of 3yo's of them which Kayla has gone the trip before and has finished second over the same trip and Verbier  who ran second last time out to Just By Chance gets a change in jockey and as such is in contention

Contrary to the market I guess this race is open and my personal fancy is Kayla as it has run over the distance before

My Choice:#4 Kayla Win 

 Race 3:A class V race over 1200m

 Another Ace,Guyana,Starry Image and Top Wizard are the four horses that catch my eye in this low-class affair and as such I expect the winner between them

Another Ace as such with top-weights may be a slight concern but can do well on her handicap debut with a good jockey in the saddle

My Choice:#1 Another Ace Win 

 Race 4:A class III race over a mile

 B fifty two,whose form was franked on sunday by Holy Smoke is the prime contender in this race being a winner over 7f at Pune

Imperial Princess the other 3yo in the fray is getting a change in saddle support and that may be a cause of concern now

Cha Cha Cha and Just By Chance are the other horses that may look to do well here the latter especially having got the better of youngsters in the fray and well placed on promotion is my personal fancy

My Choice:#1 Just By Chance Win 

 Race 5:A class II race over 1000m

 Ravello and Merchant of Venice two proven speed balls in this class against the like of Egyptiana,Arizona Sun and Star makes this race quite an open affair

Star who failed to dazzle in his last run is now running at low weights and as such should be respected

Arizona Sun a start to finish winner in this current season beating a good company last time is the top wonder here

Ravello with a run in class I and being a demotee should also be respected here

All in all a very open race and my fancy is STAR

 My Choice:#8 Star Win 

 Race 6:A class IV race over 1000m (Div-II)

 Forever Yours,a maiden class winner is facing maidens who are receiving weight but then is a serious contender in this race

This race also has last start failed favourite Moroccan,American Agatta and Be Cautious amongst others,the last named was subject of a good mock race preparation and is my personal fancy

My Choice:#7 Be Cautious Win 

 Race 7:A race for 3yo Maidens over 1400m

 Aeoleus Maximus,has the experience and now the jockey to make his presence felt here in this very open affair

Allelee Bleu and Chef Dóurve are two others that may improve here and are at best having decent chances here

Then there is Frankest who had a good lung opener last time out and with a change in jockey is my personal fancy here

My Choice:#2 Frankest Win

 Race 8:A class IV race over 1000m (Div.I)

 The last race of the day is another interesting affair with too many maiden class winners taking on the maiden class horses especially Naumee seems like a top contender here

Abbey,Christmas Eve and Dancing Dae'mon are the previous winners in the fray that seem like possible contenders here

Abbey who cleared maiden ranks well was expected to well in its subsequent starts now with Colm O Donoghue may run a good race here being the jockey's sole ride of the day and as such is my personal fancy

Hello Friends,                          By the time this post gets completed it would be just an hour or two before racetime,anyways hope it helps those who could read it RACE 1: Multigory: won maiden race in his second start and has won class class 4,class 3 and class 53-79 races subsequently,the last two start winner has hit sublime form and is the one to watch out for Jeanine: A first start winner over 5f to clear maidens has subsequently won class 3 and class 2,pune has been a better hunting ground. Pugnacious: Has age on his side and so are the weights tilted in his favour,on class is a maiden winner,class 4 winner and class 3 winner,hence is the one to beat During the fag end of the season horses who are in form can hope to do much better and with that logic I feel Multiglory should have a big say in the opener Race 3: Forest Fire: A maiden,having second start in class V over extended trip with a + switch in jockey,keep an eye,fair record in class IV Sheer Belie

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in grade with a chance in
