Mumbai 20/12/15 Short Selections

Hi Friends,
                   Sunday's racing consists a card of 8 races with the Indian 2000 guineas the second classic of the season,here is my selections with comments,hope it proves to be useful for the readers

Race 2:#2 Shooting Star,after a decent debut is placed well in this group and with a scope for second lifetime improvement should do well here,odds is a concern though.

Race 3:#3 Ladybird,who ran a good race behind Dancing Phoenix in a terms race is now dropping down in grade and as such I expect it to run a good race here.

Race 4:#4 Ladislaus,is the best prepared horse,doesnt have illustrious bloodlines like some others yet is an interesting contender here and is an each way chance here.

Race 5:#2 Adam is the obvious choice here as he has been pretty consistent over this trip,is coming after a lay-off and is prepared decently,the danger should be from Shivalik Storm and Your Royal Majesty.

 Race 6:#12 Holy Smoke,who had won a handicap million earlier in the season is now running a class above with a wider draw,the race ofcourse has quite an open look to it and is another each way chance in the course of the day

Race 7:#1 Admirality,is the horse thats coming back after an injury has been prepared patiently by the top pro,will it run a big race on its return is a big is the big question mark,but then how many horses have come after a break and win an Indin classic? First win on this very track seemed very special and thats the sole reason for me to opt for him,anyways he has to contend with Costa Del Sol,Phoenix Tiger and Bold Command

 Race 8:#2 Shadowfax,who had a run earlier on in the season is running with a change in jockey now appeals over this mile trip,personal fancy

Hello Friends,                          By the time this post gets completed it would be just an hour or two before racetime,anyways hope it helps those who could read it RACE 1: Multigory: won maiden race in his second start and has won class class 4,class 3 and class 53-79 races subsequently,the last two start winner has hit sublime form and is the one to watch out for Jeanine: A first start winner over 5f to clear maidens has subsequently won class 3 and class 2,pune has been a better hunting ground. Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in gra...

Mumbai Thursday races 12/12/13 a Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends,                       The mid-week racing card at Mumbai consists a compact card of 7 races,here is my analysis and selections for the day  Race no 1:Class V race over 1200 mts  Ancient Odyssey  which won its last start in the same class over the same distance now gets a positive switch in rider,as most of the field is out of relative form,this horse has a fair chance to repeat here Polar Zone  which has earlier shown some spark is now getting a guidance from a top jockey,has run decently in its previous runs too,no tracks are seen and that is my only worry  But one horse which caught the eye during its last run is  SHOWERS OF HEAVEN, it had a forward run in a large field with Dharmendar on top and was calling the shots until they crossed the 200 mts marker over a 7f trip,now with a benifit of that run and a switch to jockey,shapes as a decent chance bet for the day  MY CHOICE:#...
