Bangalore 05/12/15 Analysis and Selections
Hello Friends,
The saturday's card of bangalore has 9 races and two graded races amongst them which also includes the first classic of the winer season,The 1000 Guineas.
Race 1:A class v race over 1400m
Amazing Skill,New Mallet,Way We Were and Desert Gilt are the four horses that come into contention due to Age as a factor,the first and last named horses have been subject to positive change in jockeys too and as such should be in strong contention here. Flash Fire is the horse that appeals of the older lot,however I feel Desert Gilt whose last run is suggestive enough and is my personal fancy
My Choice:#6 Desert Gilt Win
Race 2:A race for 2yo Maidens over 1200m
Krieger,Aster Rose and Mistress Of Spice seem like the possible contenders here,the second named horse seems to be very forward going but the pedigree as per my understanding hints at a slightly longer trip
Krieger is the one that has speedy bloodlines and as such would be the one that may like the trip in my opinion and as such if he runs would be an obvious choice
My Choice:#3 Krieger Win
Race 3:A class IV race over 1400m
New Prince who is making his handicap debut after literally leading the field into the straight in the closely fought Mysore 2000 guineas is subject to a positive switch in jockey and as such is a strong contender in this race
Diamond Green the surprise package when he won on his last start is another horse that may make this race interesting
Proudprince is another horse that may be the one that could run a good one here,mainly because it was fancied in two of its last three starts and has been working extremely well and is a good each way fling
My Choice:#1 Proudprince Win/Place
Race 4:A class II race over 1200m(4yo+)[Div.II]
of the older lot,Smithsonite who now has huge switch in jockey and a good winner last start and Go Lucky Go who shocked the field at bangalore summer in one of its earlier runs appeal
However the trio in form,Supreme Dominator,Forest Tern and Super Queen seem like holding the aces here and between them with the weights aiding it and what i feel as inherent class factor super queen is my personal fancy
My Choice:#9 Super Queen Win
Race 5:A class III race over a mile
Valiant Spirit is the horse by placing second to Eternal Flame in a million earlier that will come into strong contention here more so because it has been well rested after being gelded
MultiAPP,beat a very good field last time out and is now placed once again here in the same class with a change in jockey,keep an eye might prove to be a tough customer again
Then there is the trio of Hunhar,Turf Tactics and Colossal Moments that may have their say here,the last named horse is an interesting contender here mainly because she is well placed here with John in the saddle and for a horse who won a maiden class race at bangalore summer and after having a dip in form to have won again means this horse cannot be neglected and is my personal fancy
My Choice:#6 Colossal Moments Win/Place
Race 6:A terms race over 1200m (Gr.III)
Smilestone,Im different,Sun Divine and Shivalik Star,one amongst these four should throw a winner in my opinion
Sun Divine whom i think has successfully come out of setback is in a form of its life by annexing two graded races at two different centres after winning a class II affair at BSM,Smilestone with Suraj in the saddle was a two time winner at BSM and as such is a live force here yet again inspite of a switch is saddle support
Shivalik Storm infact showed signs of revival in its last start and with regular partner John in the saddle would be a completely different prospect here and as such is my personal fancy
My Choice:#4 Shivalik Star Win
Race 7:A Terms Race for 3yo Fillies over a mile (Gr.II)
New Alliance and Intelligence has the recent form going for them and the Kingfisher Derby winner Angel Dust is looking to revive her status amongst eight other fillies in what looks like a fairly open guineas this year
In most probability barring a grand upset the winner should be from this trio and my choice amongst them is Intelligence as she cut a furious pace at the Pune Derby which went unnoticed when she ran against Woman of War at Hyderabad and having been able to trash the field there another such show cannot be ruled out
My Choice:#4 Intelligence Win
Race 8:A class II race over 1200m (4yo+)[Div.I]
Castle Stuart who was a winner in this same class earlier in its career is now a live threat here to whomsoever who wants to win here
I feel that the likes of Top Spot,Pippin,WestsideStory and Sun Glow are the ones that look like possible contenders here
Sun Glow needs a more closer look here as it has been a winner twice at Bangalore Summer and now with winning jockey again at low weights is a strong contender here
West Side Story is from a stable that is firing all cylinders so far this season and is equally having a chance as much the former and is my personal fancy
My Choice:#7 West Side Story Win
Race 9:A class IV race over 1200m (4yo+)
Golden Nimbus a debutant who has been tracking very well in the recent past is one of the contenders here
So is Everest who is a lower class winner The Jaguar is getting a change in jockey and if that means good intent then its a strong contender too
Have a look at Zulu Fantasy and Candice both of whom have winning form here and the latter can be the surpriser here in my opinion and is a each way chance in the last race of the day
