Mysore 01/07/15
Hello Friends,
Here comes July and with it comes a schedule which after the Bangalore Derby will be non-stop racing action across the country,Mysore is having a seven race card for Wednesday and here is my analysis and personal fancies for the same
Race 1:A class III race over 1800m
Nanuk, who is a long winner over this trip in this race has had a run this season which could be termed as a Lung Opener at best, now going over its pet trip with its winning jockey repeating again is the default contender in this race
Breezo who is coming into this race with a win under its belt now gets a dual positive switch with respect to jockey and equipment and is expected to run one more good race on promotion
Gayle Storm, who is now getting a change in jockey to Ryan Marshall who has piloted this horse when it won and also the change in equipment being clear indications of an improved performance cannot be neglected
Then there is Kolaveri Di who is now placed well on the scales with respect to Nanuk and has a decent last run this season is showing out in track spurts too,has already finished a close second over this trip and is the one that appeals the most, the jockey is winless so far this season and thats the only chink if any in its armour
My Choice:#2 Kolaveri Di WIN
Race 2:A race for 3yo Maidens over 1200m
This race is quite open with Silver Prince,Diamond Attraction,Invincible Wish,Dragon and Sazae Zan being the contenders for the top prize
Diamond Attraction may well be the pick of many here,it has run well despite breaking its BV and Bolted when it was saddled next and was withdrawn, with some good track spurts would be the horse to watch out for
Silver Prince and Invincible Wish are both from same stables and the presence of ace jockey on the latter may be a good pointer
Dragon is bred for speed and being a debutant its the hidden horse in this set,and has good chance to score if it does any justice to its bloodlines
Sazae San who was interfered in its last run to finish 4th is now getting a switch in jockey and has been tracking well after the last run, there is scope for improvement and should be in the thick of things if it negotiates its draw,my personal fancy
My Choice:#9 Sazae San WIN
Race 3:A class V race over 1100m
Outer Space, which made the pace in the last start was prominent for most part of the race and with a change in jockey should be the default contender in this race.
Friends Forever who won over the same trip a couple of runs ago is also getting a positive change in equipment and would pay to keep an eye on it
Although there are some good contenders in Access All Arenas, who is tracking well and Aerial Acrobat who may like this distance and a lively contender here in the fray it is Mountain Glory that is both tracking well and gets a change in jockey along with a decent last run and an inner draw that appeals the most here
My Choice:#8 Mountain Glory Win/Place
Race 4:A class IV race over 1400m
Wilderness, who was racing at Mumbai before now has its first start over the 7f trip at mysore and with decent preparations should be the contender by default in this race
Charm and Dream which has a ace jockey at the bottom of the scales which no matter what the complexity of the race is a positive factor and as such is a contender in this race
Horses like Scaramouche,Golden Steps and Rising Little Star also come into contention in this race due to the distance suitability and recent form going god for them
However it is Ground Marshall for whom the jockey repeats again after a decent last run and a positive equipment in fray and the fact that it has been brought down a lot in the scales and is my personal fancy
My Choice:#10 Ground Marshall Win
Race 5:A class III race over 1400m(5yo+)
Gran Truismo who gets jockey Y S Srinath back in the saddle is from a stable which ran a lot of seconds earlier on in the season, being a demotee and tracking well it will have its chunk of supporters and rightly so
Talking about demotees there is the prescence of Demanding Format, who cannot be taken lightly here and is one of the strong contenders in this race
Gunpowder who won earlier in the season is now running in a set meant for older horses after doing relatively well in open class and Distant Promise who has also done well in its last run but has a change in jockey now to Nitin Singh also can be termed as contenders
Champion Star which won well on its last start is now having the same jockey and is retained in the same class and placed well too and as such is a strong contender
This race wears a very open look to it and after going through the various factors I'm inclined to go with Distant Promise to run a good race here
My Choice:#5 Distant Promise Win
Race 6:A class II race over 1400m
A very open race which has Class is Class,Castle King,Absolute Brave and Queen as one of the top most contenders,on close study I have a feeling that Castle King has a slight edge above others
Markus Sittikus is having a rich vein of form and should be respected
Then there is the presence of the enigmatic Bold Police who now gets a change in jockey and is seemingly well prepared and as such is my personal fancy
My Choice:#4 Bold Police Win/Place
Race 7:A class III race over 1400m (5yo+)
Guapo is running some game races and is one of the top contenders in the fray more so because it has a switch in jockey which can be termed as positive
Although there are runners like Robinhood Pandey and Peppr King who can take advantage of the pull in weights it is Kohinoor Blitz that ran a very decent race last time out should improve on that run benefit and run a bold one here,my personal fancy
My Choice:#3 Kohinoor Blitz WIN
DAYS BEST:GROUND MARSHALL
GOOD BETS:SAZAE SAN,DISTANT PROMISE
Have a good day :)
Congratz on Ground marshall and Distance promise. The Head post Image is the right joy for a punter after winning on these two mounts. Congratz bro
