Mysore 28/08 Analysis and selections

RACE 1:For class V horses over 1400 mts 

A handful of Bangalore based horses are taking part here and a winner could be among them 

Kimora won well on its seasonal debut at Bangalore Summer,now gets a mighty positive switch in saddle support after that run,has a change in shoes to steel and is the horse to beaten in this race 

Three horses in Our Commander,Mister Grey and AJ One are the ones that can hope to run well! 

Mister Grey has a change in saddle support,a good forward run over a mile plus change in equipment,is a top contender in this race 

Our Commander is also having a mighty switch in saddle support,the trainer is hoping to clear his maiden ranks

AJ One barring its last run has been consistent,the weights will have a say in favour of it,this horse has been running some decent races and now with this kind of set deserves a chance bet and hence is my personal fancy for this race 

My Choice:#11 AJ One for win 

Race 2:For class v horses over 1400 mts 

Another race with the same scenario like the first race,but Mysore challengers here are youngsters and if anyone upsets one has to take it in their stride 

For me this race is about two horses Whimsical and Markus Sitticus ! Although the former seems to have a decisive edge over the latter,Markus Sitticus after its bizarre run last season ran a good decent race in the higher class in its last run,demoted with a change in shoes thus again has a good chance to win here according to my opinion 

My Choice:#5 Markus Sitticus for win 

Race 3:A class IV race over 1200 mts 

Natural Nine and Star Kingdom are the two horses that appeal readily in this race,the latter is the horse to be beaten especially with the switch in jockey support

However,the presence of youngsters especially Andana and Forest Tern make this race an interesting one to solve 

Despite being tracked only once,Forest Tern appeals on bloodlines and the positive switch to saddle support,if odds are agreeable then justifies taking a chance in this otherwise modest set

My Choice:#4 Forest Tern for win 

Race no 4:A race for class II horses over 1200 mts 

Grand Applause thanks to its scintillating form shown at Bangalore is the horse to be beaten in this race,despite switching to a jockey who is not top notch,this horse due to the weights its carrying will have major suppor 

Violent Storm beat an youngster over the seven furlong trip at Bangalore in the lower class,after that the runs in the upper class were decent and now with a change in jockey to Trevor Patel should run a big race 

Sweet Secret's last run is best ignored,has been a good horse over this distance,the Darkhorse here 

Talisker has been another consistent horse,the trainer has engaged a claimer to do duty,I am not sure about the intent of such a change,but the best horse in the fray is without any doubt Talisker,also has been track winner and thus is my personal fancy for this race 

My Choice:#1 Talisker for win/place 

Race 5:A race for class II horses over 1800 mts 

ARCTIC ATTRACTION has been on the rise in the ratings chart during the Bangalore Summer,this horse is the one they all should beat 

Ace Bucephalus lost all chances in the start during its last run,its a horse with great class and bad gate manners,one should hope for the best when the horse is backed 

Winged Foot is a classic winner,has lost form and cannot be ignored for the jp pools,has all ability to surprise keep an eye 

The horse that really caught my eye on its last outing was Pursuit of Fame,yes it is now carrying more weight than last time out but the combination of John and this horse has clicked before and is an advantage,coming after that run and spurting well on the trial tracks,this horse has a very good chance to win here and is my personal fancy for this race 

My Choice:#3 Pursuit of Fame win 

Race 6:A class II race over 1200 mts 

Solitaire Royale is a very good sprinter,who lost form and condition for time before bouncing back to win in a commanding fashion last time out,with age and form in its side certainly the horse to be beaten in this race 

This race is quite open,Will Star and Amazing Redd have both run amongst each other and although the latter seems to have an edge,the former's last run was impressive against Cape Ferrat and the change in jockey now to John should be a huge positive 

Another horse that should not miss anybody's attention is Virat,once the record holder for this distance in this track,merits consideration strongly

My Choice:#5 Virat for win/place 

RACE 7:A class III race over 1400 mts (mys horses only) 

Lad's Ability and Esoterical are two good horses with ace jockeys aboard and hope to run well,certainly will be the top two market fancies

All for Cash,Too Cold to hold etc also come into contention based on their previous runs

Dance of A general,last run best ignored comes into contention here based on its runs prior to that,has a fair chance 

Lad's Ability has the best credentials here and is prepared very well but Dance of A General should be no pushover and is worth an each way chance 

My Choice:#5 Dance of A general win/place 

Race 8:A class IV race over 1200 mts 

Woodberg,who ran into a too good Arziki last time out is technically the one they all have to beat in this race,sure there are two youngsters in the fray 

Mandarian is certainly the best of the two,with massive switch in jockey support and impressive trial tracks appeals,form is not its strong point 

Zagato although will find the distance a bit sharp,is the dark un in this race 

Woodberg is my personal fancy 

My Choice:#1 Woodberg for win

Hello Friends,                          By the time this post gets completed it would be just an hour or two before racetime,anyways hope it helps those who could read it RACE 1: Multigory: won maiden race in his second start and has won class class 4,class 3 and class 53-79 races subsequently,the last two start winner has hit sublime form and is the one to watch out for Jeanine: A first start winner over 5f to clear maidens has subsequently won class 3 and class 2,pune has been a better hunting ground. Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in grade with a chance in
