2/7/16 Bangalore Selections

Hello Friends,
Late post, was busy elsewhere.A card of 8 races for the Pre-Maharaja day, here are my selections with a lil bit of reasoning.....

1-8 Tuscano, the second low rated 5yo in the field with a possible chance in clearing maidens, the threat should be from First Step who may enjoy the conditions of being a no whip race and Hero Worship who on relative merit of the opponents in its earlier starts should be a contender here.

2-7 Island Pearl, should be the logical choice here for me being a Bangalore based horse and being an youngster as a maiden in the handicap event, however High Hawk who pulled a fast one last time out and the calcutta runner with a bangalore trainer in Bacardi should make this race interesting

3-2 Vivid Impression, apeals the best out of the three possible contenders in this set.The other two being The Lieutenant and Sans Peur. The reaosn being VI having an exposure in the older class 1 and having more experience than the other two market fancies makes me opt for it.

4-5 Back of Beyond, true it has been penalised for its rather appealing win to the eye last time out in the lower class against youngsters should take a lot of beating in this race especially with the same class winner in Fantasy Queen and another horse taking the same route as BOB in Opening Act making the market interesting

5-3 Renee is from a yard which is blowing hot all season and being an experienced runner in a million last time out at Chennai makes her my prime fancy in this race, ofcourse she has to beat the semi-classic filly in Sea Fairy to contend with.

6-4 Diamond Green has her work cut out in this class IV handicap being a maiden class winner albeit as a shocker earlier in her career and now has a decent enough chance of pulling it off against Top Smiles who is now subject to a lot of equipment changes from the Sharat Kumar Yard

7-9 Spirit and Truth after taking his time to clear maiden in a class IV race had been campaigned rather optimistically by the trainer at Bombay and was fancied to land the spoils after returning to Bangalore later and is now facing a decent enough set to redeem winning ways however 7-7 Tronada being a winner on her debut did well to stave off a spirited bid of the then promising China One in her next start and is now a definite chance in this race albeit from a stable who blows hot and cold

8-3 Red Galileo appeals but for the last run in the last race for the day which has to be one of the worst fields for a maiden class race in the recent past....

Thats it folk, take your own decisons at racetime and may all the luck be with you,Invest Responsibly.
