Bangalore-SATURDAY 14/02/15
Hello Friends,
A card of eight events with the BANGALORE WINTER MILLION as the feature of the day has been framed for the Saturdays card. Here is my analysis and personal fancies of the same
Race 1:A class III race over 1200 mts (Div.II)
Why Should I is going for a hat-trick after winning two back to back races in the lower class, with form and a good jockey to guide this horse certainly is one amongst the top contenders in this race
Blitzschnelle's last run is best ignored, before that it ran a good second behind Pentagram,on that note comes right into contention here
The duo of Flames of passion and Bazinga need much attention, the former is a controversial horse and has done well and is looking for a maiden victory and the latter is all poised to have a big say here going by its recent form and perpetrations the jockey not withstanding
Then there are the likes of Air Dancer and Forest Tern (who has a positive change in jockey and should improve considerably to win here,a good outsider)
My Choice:#3 Bazinga Win
Race 2:For Maiden 3yo over 1100 mts
Garv who after its first run will be hoping to improve on its second lifetime start and score here, there is enough reason to be optimistic as it had run a good race and debut and is now working along with a higher class handicapper and will be looking to put its best foot forward
There is however an array of debutants in Rain Kissed,Let There Be Light,Misd Adler,Omber Glaze and Silken Star to throw a challenge
Going by the workouts Rain Kissed seems to be forward, has a top jockey in the saddle and if it shows good early speed which progenies of WinLegend tare capable of can hope to run a good one here
My Choice:#4 Rain Kissed Win
RACE 3:A CLASS V RACE OVER 1600 mts
Suzey Oh had earlier won over the same trip and in the same class during the blore summer season, after listless runs in the upper class this horse now makes a demotion and to further lessen its burden has a claimer atop and as such is one of the main contenders in this race
Tree Lounge and Aguante are the two horses that immediately strike as good ones in this race, the former has distance capability and with a top weight jockey should look to run well, the latter ran a good race against Admired and should be in the thick of things here
Talking of Admired, there is One To Note who had finished a suggestive third on its last run and shapes as a very strong contender in this race
Hopefully the winner should cont from the above mentioned horses,my pick amongst them is One To Note
My Choice:#8 One To Note Win
RACE 4:A class II race over 1200 mts
LOVEOFMYLIFE which just ran a week ago in the same class but age reserved race ran a good third, now that it has been given an entry within a week and has been entrusted to the top jockey means that the intent is on the positive side
The two lower class winners in Scarlet Emperor and Nimfea will be the main challengers here as with many other factors, age also gives them a slight advantage
Before discussing about them I must tell you that both Inquisition and Cape Ferrat can outclass this set and it would be good to have a look at them, the former is giving weight all around and has to show change in form to revive while the latter has been running good forward races and is seemingly kept quiet, keep an eye
There is also the presence of Eternal Desire who is a same class winner getting the better of Hendrix and now with a change in jockey is looking to score an hat-trick,which might be a difficult task to achieve
Coming back to the two youngsters,Nimfea's performance curve this season will put any roller coaster to utter shame,it did win well in its last start and with the travelling jockey as replacement should hope to run a good race
Scarlet Emperor on the other hand won well on its last start, has been working well too and as such becomes the natural choice to me in this race
My Choice:#7 Scarlet Emperor Win
RACE 5:A Terms race over 1200 mts [THE BANGALORE WINTER MILLION] (3yo)
When there is a presence of a winner among maidens, the winner most of the times will hold the advantage. On that logic Sun Moon and Stars which made a good debut and has been prepared well by its trainer gets the first nod here
Honour who had hit the board in both its starts also needs a lot of thought, especially when the horse that got the better of it ran and won again in a graded race, thus on formlines and perpetrations this horse seems pretty good
There are some debutants in this race and two of them in Southern Surprise (who is bred similar to Southern Bay,has been subject to some good preparation) and Super Sunshine (whose sire is known to throw precocious horses has been tracking very well and may throw a minor surprise here
My Choice:#3 Super Sunshine Win
RACE 6:A Class IV race over 1400 mts (6yo+)
ARUN who has been running races in class III is now getting down to a class where it has won previously, with the change in jockey I must say that this is the horse they should all try and beat here
Noble Princess is an interesting candidate in this race as I have noticed that this horse does well over this trip, add to it it has decided to exploit the low weights here with help of a jockey switch
Midtown Delight suddenly showed glimpses of good form in its last run, with the same jockey aboard one can expect an improved performance here
Amazon Bay has been consistently running decent races, gets a good jockey on board and with the runs this season should be sharpened enough to put its best foot forward here
My Choice:#2 Amazon Bay Win
RACE 7:A class IV race over 1200 mts
There is a strong possibility that the debutant in Western Express being one of the contenders in this race,it has been prepared with a string of Gate jumps and as such it would be interesting to see how it fares in this race
This race has Meherani who now gets a good jockey on board and Sands of Time who despite the jockey appeals thanks to its recent starts wherin it has registered some decent performances
Then there is Eragon, who after having a run Benifit this season has been prepared well, also a maiden winner over the same trip this horse has more than a decent chance of winning here and is my personal fancy
My Choice:#2 Eragon Win
RACE 8:For class III horses over 1200 mts (Div.I)
The race that's about to bring the curtains down on the day's proceedings looks competivte on paper
It took its own time for Remembrance of You who is a progeny of Dubawi to register a win and that too over the 7f trip surviving an objection, therefore however good the preparation and handicap is it may lose out to a horse with speed as its strong point, nevertheless is a contender in this race
New Emperor has run a very good race in its last start and if it can produce one more effort of that nature will be a key player in this race
There is also the presence of Atmos who despite the jockey had done well at this level and Hidden Hero who had been constantly knocking at the door in the fray
There is quite a chance for Shrewd Master who has also done well over this trip to do well here, more so because of the decent preparation and having a good travelling jockey onboard
My Choice:#4 Shrewd Master Win
DAYS BEST:SHREWD MASTER
GOOD BETS:BAZINGA,AMAZON BAY
Have a nice day.......
