The Breeders Cup Extravaganza

Hello friends, 
                    We are almost there,the BC is just around the corner and I would be mighty pleased to know what our IRians think about the many top class races framed for the day,it is real sad that in this age of globalisation most of us unless we are NRI's can't bet on int'l races 

So here is my take on the top 4 races,and would like to knoe what you guys think too 

1)Breeders Cup Classic 
                                      This 10f race is the feature of the weekend and the pot is worth 5 million,12 runners line up for this showpiece event, GAME ON DUDE seems like the rage here and he has the form too. The field also has last years winner who won in soft going Fort Larned,can he do a Tiznov only time will tell. The only serious European Raider is the ultra consistent Declaration of war.The winner of the 12f Belmont Stakes Palace Malice is also in the fray 

I personally feel Mucho Macho Man who found Fort Larned too good for him last year should fare better and win under Gary Stevens this year. 

2)The Breeders cup classic distaff 

This 9f race for fillies only is the ladies version of the classic,Princess of Sylmar who shocked the field at the Kentucky Oaks is the rage here,but can she tackle Royal Delta? I don't think so. It is Royal Delta all the way 

3)Breeders Cup Turf 

This 12f race run on the turf is a race that has seen European raiders take the Prize just like St'nick's did a couple of years before for Ballydoyle. They have The Magician to add more to their tally but they have to get the better off THE FUGUE who is in rousing form 

The Phipps stable owned Point of entry and Little Mike are the local hopefuls,but having seen The Fugue win the York OAKS and Irish champion stakes over a shorter trip,feel should give a good account of herself 

4)The Breeders Cup Mile 

Arguably the best card of the weekend,there is the American horse of the year Wise Dan on one side and the recent vanquisher of Dawn Approach in Olympic Glory on the other side, Ballydoyle has pitched in Cristoforo coloumbo for this race. 

I personally feel Wise Dan should win this race,he got the better of Excelebration and Moonlight cloud last year and this year I feel the win can be repeated. 

My shortlist 

BC Classic-Mucho Macho Man 
BC distaff-Royal Delta 
BC Mile-Wise Dan 
BC TURF-The Fugue

Hello Friends,                          By the time this post gets completed it would be just an hour or two before racetime,anyways hope it helps those who could read it RACE 1: Multigory: won maiden race in his second start and has won class class 4,class 3 and class 53-79 races subsequently,the last two start winner has hit sublime form and is the one to watch out for Jeanine: A first start winner over 5f to clear maidens has subsequently won class 3 and class 2,pune has been a better hunting ground. Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in grade with a chance in
