Day's Best Win:Dynamo (made all the pace till the last 100 mts and went down to Falcon and Bombardier over a mile,placed well here on terms of the race,the drop down in distance should suit its running style and has a veteran jockey aboard to guide its fortunes,should win the million) 

Day's Best 2:Silver Strak 
Señora Bella-This horse is my follow horse,was an impressive winner last time out and before that went down to stablemate Zakynthos.It is to be noted that there is a similar kind of scenario here,there is a credible ownermate running here,Silver streak made the pace all the way till they entered the final furlong and finished a good fourth,the drop down in distance and a change to a jockey in rousing form thus deserves a good bet here 

Day's Best Place:Cornelian (Is a horse that has been consistent this season,although there are young horses in the fray,should be on board for its consistency when compared with other horses in the field) 

Double:Oriental Rocky(takes on a relatively weak set,the fav gets a positive switch in jockey but this horse has already won a race in this class during this season,can win here as on form this is the best horse in this field

Windsor Queen (top weighted animal is a 22 horse field,has an inner draw which is an advantage,has the services of a jockey in fine form at Pune,last run is best ignored,has a bright chance to score here) 

Upsetter:Onassis-Brace yourself friends,there is this gut feeling coupled with a couple of reasons why I feel Pesi's Onassis will be the horse to look out for at the main event of a day

1)Is a horse that has oodles of class,An acquired taste is the best horse in the field no doubt about it but as the terms are at a disadvantage can be toppled 

2)Trainer-jockey combination of Zervan and Pesi works like magic on big occasions and this being one it has to said that the horse is no slouch either,has an impeccable record and is still training at age 7
 
A good e/w bet 

UMARKOT and Insignia face two overwhelmingly supported horses in their respective races,I will put my money on UMARKOT as I feel Paris is just not worth the hype,Mauna Kea is a horse on which there is a lot of talk going on and I guess it is better watch this race in my opinion.

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run?
