Hello Friends,
                        A card of 8 races has been framed for the mid-week racing at Mumbai,here are my selections with comments.

Race 1:#3 Blackbean,who had won in class V open over the same trip at Pune in the same class has since been running in class IV since then and now dropping down in grade and over the 1000m trip should run a fair race and is a decent chance

Race 2:#3 Savage Beauty,who has won twice over the 2400 trip at pune has been putting in some decent yet not so good performances over 1800 and 2000m in the same class,now with a change to the winning jockey and a step up in distance to 2400 is a decent chance and is my personal fancy.

Race 3:#3 Alishas Pet,who had quite a forgettable comeback at Pune is working well in the trial tracks and has seen better company before and as such is decent chance here especially with Sandesh on board 

Race 4:#7 Miss Arazan,who on pedigree and preparation appeals in the 3yo Maidens only affair with only one horse having a run benefit and others having been also tracking well looks an open affair.

Race 5:#9 Captain Courage,who won rather easily in the end in what seemed like an open affair last time out is placed well in this set on promotion and stands a good chance to score here

Race 6:#10 Sans Peur,from the top yard is seemingly working well and should clear her maiden ranks here in what looks a set that it could tackle

Race 7:#4 Speed of Sound,who has been in running over 7f trips now cuts down to 6f trip over which it had finished third earlier in a million and now with Suraj in the saddle stands a decent chance.

Race 8:#4 Rapid Girl,who was fluent winner last time out against younger company is placed well yet again here and is a good chance in the last race of the day

Hello Friends,                          By the time this post gets completed it would be just an hour or two before racetime,anyways hope it helps those who could read it RACE 1: Multigory: won maiden race in his second start and has won class class 4,class 3 and class 53-79 races subsequently,the last two start winner has hit sublime form and is the one to watch out for Jeanine: A first start winner over 5f to clear maidens has subsequently won class 3 and class 2,pune has been a better hunting ground. Pugnacious: Has age on his side and so are the weights tilted in his favour,on class is a maiden winner,class 4 winner and class 3 winner,hence is the one to beat During the fag end of the season horses who are in form can hope to do much better and with that logic I feel Multiglory should have a big say in the opener Race 3: Forest Fire: A maiden,having second start in class V over extended trip with a + switch in jockey,keep an eye,fair record in class IV Sheer Belie

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in grade with a chance in
