Race 1:A class V race over 1000m 

A classic class V affair over a short scurry,going by the recent form Spear of Trium may well end up as one of the fancied horses in this race thanks to being a demotee and also has the services of a good claimer,has some gate issues and with a level Jump is the threat to all 

Talking about demotees,Rising Wave comes to the mind as a contender in this race,has a sole run this season and has been subject to some gate jumps in the last ten days with a change in jockey,keep an eye 

Does the four year olds still have an advantage over the older horses or is that a race-race scenario,my view is the latter 

This race has horses such as Star Benevolent who has in the recent past run some forward races over middle distances is cutting down in trip,at these weights it may be a folly to completely ignore this horse 

Of the others Ocean Star who is in the ripe age of 8 and Glorious Crown are the two horses that attract attention,the former is a demotee with a Claimer and has done well in this season in all the three runs in open age company in the higher class and the latter has a jockey change with its last run over this trip has been quite pleasing to the eye 

My Choice:#3 Glorious Crown Win/Place 

Race 2:A class II race over 2400m

True that Zazou is bidding for a hat-trick this season and Al Shamsheer whose sire is a strong stamina influence are in the fray 

I feel that the class of Grenadine could well have a final say in this race,a winner in class III and a decent performer in a terms race should run a better race here and is my personal fancy

My Choice:#1 Grenadine Win 

Race 3:A class I race over 1200m

Moon Shadow,One Kept Secret and Mint Approach have all met in the same race where Maximus had the last laugh 

With that race as a criteria and the relative handicap and distance suitability and jockey factor taken into account,One Kept Secret emerges slightly better than the other two 

It has to tackle two last start winners in Zander and Quick Fire 

The former who ran a good start to finish race last time out now gets a change in jockey and will be in strong contention in this race 

My Choice:#3 One Kept Secret Win 

Race 4:For Maiden 3yo's over 1200m

Harvey has the best formline coming into this race,twice second in his career to horses Costa Del Sol and Admirality respectively,has been in the tracks and is the main contender here 

The challenge should mainly come from Sentimental who has also seen good company and indeed is dropping from a Million race to a maiden here,has been extensively prepared and is the threat to all 

There are some debutants in the race but Flying Show has been working well and has to be seen how it performs here 

My Choice:#1 Harvey Win 

Race 5:A cass III race over 1200m

In what seems like one of the most open race of the day,the limelight will certainly be on Mine Forever who is coming out of a very good last start and with Zervan on top who is the trusted knight of the top stable chances look good,however to be fair there is competition 

Take Impressionist who failed to carry top weights in the Lower class will now look for the bottom weights to aid it's cause and to make things difficult for it there is the presence of its vanquisher Tempest who had tried to nullify the penalty with a claimer doing duty 

Then there is Cha Cha Cha whose only run in this class after winning a class IV race was a decent third behind Egyptiana during the Derby weekend and is also seen in the tracks oflate,a decent chance 

And to top it all there is Beach Game who is coming out of a very good race where Soul Speak won on the PBMM day,on account of its form and the claimer to aid it's cause,a decent chance in this open race 

My Choice:#1 Beach Game Win 

Race 6:A class IV race over a mile 

There are no two ways of looking at it,the last run of Sabotage which was his debut was good with a claimer,now having the entrusted jockey of the stable on its back (Note the jockeys record this season has been poor compared to last season,even though the jockey/stable combination is strong) and some fine preparation to its credit this horse should run a very big race here,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#5 Sabotage Win 

Race 7:A class IV race over 1000m 

Blue Flame,Joleene,Star are the three contenders that look like having a big say in this race with respect to their form and the opposition 

Talking about preparation Mr Morisson is suddenly seen to be putting in a lot of good work in the track trials,keep an eye 

Finally there is the presence of Awesome Knight who is getting a top jockey in the saddle and will carry the bottom weight here,that's a combination that clicks and keep an eye 

My Choice:#1 Mr Morisson Win/Place
