BANGALORE ANALYSIS AND SELECTIONS 05/03/15

The RACE 1:A CLASS IV RACE OVER 1200m (6yo+) 

NOTE:NO WHIPS ALLOWED 

SOMERSET ROSE who had won two outings in the lower class over the same trip has run two reasonably par races in class IV,now back with the winning jockey over the winning trip should be treated as a main contender in this race 

Raaga and Thunder are the two horses that look like providing an improved performance here,the former is showing out in the tracks and the latter had run a very suggestive last run and has the jockey for this kind of a race 

Icepick Willie inspite of not having their stables first jockey onboard appeals as a decent contender in this race,has placed twice this season and as such cannot be ruled out 


Then there is ShootOut who with the same jockey ran a forward race over the seven furlong trip,now with step down in trip and retaining the same jockey should hope to do well,a fair chance in the opener of the day 

My Choice:#5 ShootOut Win

RACE 2:For 3 yo maidens over 1100m

Shining Armor has a jockey who is based at Hyd and is now on a horse who is showing out if one goes by the track trials,can run a big race here

Although there are horses like Admiral Messi who is coming out of a million and a visibly stronger formline and Heisenberg who should hope to improve on its last run 

The presence of Exemplar who has had a decent last track spurt,bound for second lifetime improvement and a switch in jockey to Suraj is the threat to whoever that wants to win here

My Coice:#11 Shining Armor win 

RACE 3:A class IV race over 1200m (6yo+) 

NOTE:NO WHIPS ALLOWED 

Both The Jaguar and Vistabella are coming out of the same race,the former who has shown some sparkle in recent times now gets a switch in jockey to Imran Khan and as such should be treated as a main contender in this race 

Amazon Bay has been haunted with bad starts,it's current form has not been good too. It has however taken a proper jump in its last start and it was ridden in check,with proper intent can do a lot better here 

Then there is Union Jack,Better Than Ever and Bella Pinky

All three are capable of putting on a very good show here,Bella Pinky especially had run a very suggestive last run and bring a horse who likes to hit the front,this horse should run a good one here 

It's a close call and I would go with Amazon Bay and hope that there is a revival of sorts 

My Choice:#5 Amazon Bay Win

RACE 4:A class III race over 2000m 

Anarosa looks too good if one ignored the Hyd derby run to tackle in this set,thus as the race has limited number of runners a place will return good odds too 

Big Ticket obviously appeals due to the change in jockey and also the fact that it has already won in class III 

However Turf Tactics,who can use the pull in weights to its advantage,Secret Dinension who ran a second to a too-good Schiavone and Romeo who ran second to Equine Love last time out should also fight for the place in this race 

In my view,Secret Dimension should enjoy the step up in trip and is a chance place bet in this race 

My Choice:#2 Secret Dimension Place

RACE 5:A class II race over 1200m

Scarlet Emperor's win last time out seemed too-good to the Naked eye and has been penalised heavily yet it has got a fair chance to raise the bar again and is the top contender in this race 

This race also has two good horses sitting at bottom weights in West Side Story and the free front running Hendrix

However horses like Topspot,Austin and Nesto will play a key role in deciding the outcome of this race 

Nesto has changed stabled,has won a million at HYDERABAD and finished fifth in the PBMM last season,after the long layoff did well to win after tasting defeat in its first run,with Imran Khan in the saddle should be a threat to all

Austin who is now going for a fourth straight win is showing out in tracks and like the favourite it gets the same winning jockey again,should run a good race as the preparation is suggestive too,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#7 Austin Win 

RACE 6:A Class IV race over 1400m

Speedstress who went to the post last time out as the odds on favourite finished a third,now taking on a class IV opposition again over the same trip should be in contention here 

Although there are horses like Amanda,Guts and Glory and As Good as it gets in the fray,all three run with fair credentials the last named despite the jockey should run a good one 

The presence of last start favourite in class III in Our Little Dragon who also launched an unsuccessful objection now gets a switch in saddle support to Inran Khan and has run behind some very good horses and is my personal fancy in this race 

My Choice:#3 Our Little Dragon Win

RACE 7:For 3yo maidens over 1100m

ABLE FRIEND is a very strong contender in this race as this horse has had a good debut wherein it led till beaten by the winner over a slightly longer trip,now over this reduced trip and being retained by the same jockey should do well 

The challenge must come from Augustina and Ole,the latter has been showing out in the tracks and can run good in his debut 

My Choice:#2 Able Friend Win 

RACE 8:A class V race over 1200m

NOTE:A RACE FOR HORSES WHO HAVENT WON AFTER NOV 1 2014 (Min 2 runs this season) and FOR JOCKIES WHO HAVENT WON SINCE NOVEMBER 1st ANYWHERE IN INDIA

On raw form Carbonado who has done well recently in the upper class and who ran quite a forward race last time out should be the one that can be considered as a top contender in this race 

Horses like Distinctive,Oriental Belle,Hard To Get all have reasons to feel optimistic and hope that their jockeys do justice,the last named horse especially has a fair chance here 

Perfect King has had a good decent run last time out and is seemingly placed well in this race,my personal fancy 

My Choice:#8 Perfect King Win 

DAYS BEST:SHOOT OUT 

GOOD BETS:AUSTIN,OUR LITTLR DRAGON 

HAVE A NICE DAY,GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in gra...

Mumbai Thursday races 12/12/13 a Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends,                       The mid-week racing card at Mumbai consists a compact card of 7 races,here is my analysis and selections for the day  Race no 1:Class V race over 1200 mts  Ancient Odyssey  which won its last start in the same class over the same distance now gets a positive switch in rider,as most of the field is out of relative form,this horse has a fair chance to repeat here Polar Zone  which has earlier shown some spark is now getting a guidance from a top jockey,has run decently in its previous runs too,no tracks are seen and that is my only worry  But one horse which caught the eye during its last run is  SHOWERS OF HEAVEN, it had a forward run in a large field with Dharmendar on top and was calling the shots until they crossed the 200 mts marker over a 7f trip,now with a benifit of that run and a switch to jockey,shapes as a decent chance bet for the day  MY CHOICE:#...
