Hello Friends,                     The day 2 of the invitation weekend has three graded races amongst others and one expects it to be a competitive day,here's my analysis and personal fancies for the day  RACE 1:FOR 3yo horses over 1400 mts  Admirality will be the odds-on favourite in this race,I expect the odds to be too low and any betting interest should be on the second placed horse Phenomenal Memory,Shadow Fax,Master of trinity are the three horses that may fight for that spot  Shadowfax comes out of a good race,a million where it finished in the judges frame and as the pedigree suggests a longer trip is my choice of the three  My Choice:#5 Shadowfax Place RACE 2:For Maiden 3yo only over 1000 mts  ABIGAIL who made his debut not so long ago ran a good third,although he hasn't been in the tracks since the last run it is very suggestive of a good effort over here  There are horses like Calissa,Springloaded...

The Invitation weekend is here,I have already posted my selections for the two Marquee races of the day,here is my analysis and selections for the remaining five races  RACE 1:A TERMS RACE FOR 3YO HORSES OVER 1200 mts  ETERNAL FLAME has all reasons to be optimistic about making a second straight win at mumbai,his win in the Kunigal Breeders Produce stakes was one to note,he is cutting down in trip here in this million and should go out as the most fancied horse of the day  There is however presence of some debutants who by chance are in the classic prospect frame may cause an upset,at best place prospects the ones that catch the eye are Itscaro and Alisha's Pet Then there is the presence of Polished Chrome who ran a very good race on debut and now with able preparations and jockey interchanged one could hope for a good show  Hidden Soul which won on its debut beating Niobrara has been sparingly tracked and has a jockey change to P.S.Chouhan,bound for a second lifetim...

The sprinters cup will kick off the first of five graded races which includes four races of Gr.I stature. This year will see fifteen horses fight for the title  Here is my bit of analysis and also my personal fancy for the same  I have to admit that sprint races of high quality have always been close affairs,for example take this very race for the last two years, Nefyn who won it two times in a row had to fight all out on both occasions,first on that day at Hastings Calcutta where it ran a blinder of a race with Jimmy Fortune aboard and then the next year it won with a shd against the likes of Dancing Prances and Speed Six  Thus if one takes the sprinters cup as the ultimate sprint race then we have to scrutinise the recent form of the three runners in Nefyn,Dancing Prances and Speed Six NEFYN, the winner of this very event is vying for a hat-trick at this ripe age of 9. Hello Friends,                    A card of 9 races has been framed for the day,here is my analysis and personal fancies for the same  RACE 1:A RACE FOR CLASS V HORSES OVER 1400 mts  NAZRANA who is retaining the rider for a third time has been running some races of note this season,in its last but one run it made was up with the pace while going over a slightly longer trip and on its last start recovered well in the home straight over 6f..... It's best performance has been over the 10f trip but the last two runs gives indication of a good show over this middle distance event  There is however the presence of winners over 7f in Dishkayon,Star Prince and two other runners in Reach The Stars and Golden Wave  Of this quartet there is a strong possibility that the youngster Dishkayon may losses a danger to them all  However due to the jockey factor,running styles and the age factor it seems like Nazrana has a decent c...

Race 1:A class II race over 1800 mts  Generally horses who run in handicap races after a shot at classics should be taken seeiously,this being a class II race a lot of caution should be exercised  Over a distance of 9f with only four horses in the field,tactics and the pace equation will play a vital role in deciding the outcome here  Classic Moment on pedigree should tackle this trip with ease,being a filly who is giving weight to experienced older horses and a gelding of its own crop one has to take that fact into consideration.... Hello Friends,                      A well filled nine race-card affair has been framed for the Derby day on Sunday,I have picked only a few races and here is my analysis followed by personal fancies  RACE 3:For Maiden 3yo horses over a mile  MOGADISHU -Tracking well with class I animal,sireline not so strong over 1600 mts yet due to superior saddle support can posses danger  WARPATH- One of the two got-abroads in the field and obviously the better one,good educational run and wonderful track spurts,a strong contender here  SACRED FIRE- Quite an eventful debut,change in saddle support and bred well to do good over longer distances,tracking decently well and should be a front runner to win here  SWEEP ASIDE- Bred well and may like the step up in trip,retains the same jockey and has a decent preparation to go by,keep an eye  MY CHOICE:#9 SACRED FIRE WIN RACE 5:A class II race over 1400 mts  YOUR ROYA...
