Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor ...

The Calcutta Fillies Trial Stakes and The Calcutta Colts trial Stakes are the two feature races of a wonderfully framed card for the day  Mariinsky which has had its summering at Bangalore is also a classic placed filly (third to Amelia at fillies championship stakes) is no doubt the leading contender to land the spoils here,she takes on Adabella who incidentally is a winner over the Calcutta Monsoon Sprint for 3 yo by a commanding fashion. There is also Shaktiroop who had won a million during the invitation weekend and returns to the track after a layoff. There is also a Bangalore challenger in the fray Rumour Has It which is coming from handicap ranks to a terms race for 3 yo's  In my opinion Mariinsky stands tall in this set and it will surprise me if any other horse gets the better of Pesi Shroff's Trainee The Colts trial stakes on the other hand has eight acceptors of which Captain Courageous strikes as the best in first view,but I feel this is a closely matched race. Hello Friends ,                     A card of eight races has been framed for the day,here are my fancies and analysis for the races.  Race no 1:For horses in class V over 1100 mts  Six 3 yo's take on fiver older horses in this race,of the older horses the one that appeals is  Small Made ,has given a good account of itself over shorter sprints in the last Mysore season,if the youngsters fail can make its presence felt here  Logically I am looking for an youngster to win here and shed its maiden status,of the six youngsters the one that look promising although haven't graced the board are  Catwalk Queen  and  La Piperi Catwalk Queen  has the services of a claimer,tracks look good with the weights it will carry has a fair chance to score here  But  La Piperi  seems to be prepared very well to land the spoils here,has the services of  John  and also the inner draw,has a b...

Hello friends,                      The Hyderabad Colts championship Stakes as expected was a thriller with Acclaimed  scoring victory with a breathtaking run inside the final furlong and on its way made a new course record over a mile. I am actively involved in races for not more than 18 months and to see one of the jockeys I admire in Trevor Patel winning a classic (that too! His first classic). I would like to congragulate Trevor for his success and I sincerely hope that it is the first of many to come. 

A field of 8 hopefuls will face the starters for what is the fifth classic of the mainstream Indian racing calender for 3 yo's  The first classics were won by two horses Amelia and Alaindair  who had one thing in common Multidimensional  There are two Multidimensional sired horses in the field, Ambitious Reward and Scenic warrior ,the latter started off slowly during the Kingfisher Derby and lost all its chances,latest spurts are good and is in with a decent chance  It's stablemate Strike the stars ran an eye-catching race showing tremendrous turn of foot to swamp the opposition in a million during the Bangalore summer Million,the jockey on board has won 3/4 classics held this season and is proving himself to be man of for the occasion Then there is Czar of romance who will be ridden by a local top jockey who loves the track,had started off its career very well and due to some reasons faltered at the classics,tracks show good improvement,expect him to do well here...
