RACE 1:Desert Lily was found wanting with claimers during both its starts this season,lost to Mt Tianmen and then Absolute Jewel,with Blinkers and a change in jockey there is a chance of change in  tactics and hopefully a positive result,Stardom Calling,Hirohima and Sunshine Heart are the other contenders in this race.

My Choice:#1 Desert Lily Win 

RACE 2:Remember Me has a rich vein of form but has never been a winner over a mile,small field and the pace equation that may evolve may help its cause,Rodeo and Falcon are the dark uns here the latter has been a good performer over this trip and at these weights is a danger not withstanding both its runs in the near past. That leaves us with the once Pune Derby winner Commander who has done well over this trip in the past and has quite a chance to pull it off again especially with winning jockey back in saddle

My Choice:#2 Commander Win 

RACE 3:Rigoletto found Fearless Nadia a difficult nut to crack last time out,the trainer and the jockey have parted ways atlas for the day and now it gets the in-form top rider and as such cannot be ruled out,has to beat Shadowfax who impressed in its last start to win with a flourish

My Choice:#2 Rigoletto Win 

RACE 4:Polar Zone and Victory Dancer are the two horses that seem like having both the saddle support and some relative merit coming into this race,the former has been a good horse over shorter sprints and the latter getting strong saddle support and hoping to clear the maiden ranks

My Choice:#1 Polar Zone Win 

RACE 5:A very open affair with both The Way Iam and Remember The Time as the top contenders in this race however i would like to give Warpath a decent chance here as it has the top jockey on duty and has run behind the too-good Airco in its last start

My Choice:#5 Warpath Win 

RACE 6:Polished Chrome won a closely contested affair in the same class last time and breaking the course record now with the able claimer can be expected to be prominent again,Mine Forever was unlucky last time out and Deep diver/Valentino can add spice to this race

My Choice:#1 Polished Chrome Win 

RACE 7:Itscaro,Benezeer,Brahmachari and Speed of sound are the four horses that appeal while going through this race,the debutant Aarons is the joker in the pack having a good chance to upset calculations,my pick of them is Speed of sound

My Choice:#6 Speed of Sound Win 

RACE 8:Magnificence is coming out of a very good race and has been a winner over a mile earlier although giving weight all around can give a beating too,Top Bracket and Jorell can run close

My Choice:#1 Magnificence Win 

RACE 9:Another open affair,Star,Sunny Sea and Dreamz Unlimited are the ones that appeal to me,Dreamz Unlimited is the one that can hope to redeem its winning ways especially after having a lung opener,Sunny Sea is the default contender

My Choice:#2 Dreamz Unlimited Win

Hello Friends,                          By the time this post gets completed it would be just an hour or two before racetime,anyways hope it helps those who could read it RACE 1: Multigory: won maiden race in his second start and has won class class 4,class 3 and class 53-79 races subsequently,the last two start winner has hit sublime form and is the one to watch out for Jeanine: A first start winner over 5f to clear maidens has subsequently won class 3 and class 2,pune has been a better hunting ground. Pugnacious: Has age on his side and so are the weights tilted in his favour,on class is a maiden winner,class 4 winner and class 3 winner,hence is the one to beat During the fag end of the season horses who are in form can hope to do much better and with that logic I feel Multiglory should have a big say in the opener Race 3: Forest Fire: A maiden,having second start in class V over extended trip with a + switch in jockey,keep an eye,fair record in class IV Sheer Belie

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in grade with a chance in
