Race 1:Traherne who is a good winner of a maiden class race has to contend with Multinational who has been in the fray in most of its runs,the former who is a winner gets my nod against the latter.

My Choice:#1 Traherne Win 

Race 2:Eduardo has hit a purple patch and in a small field going over the trip for the first time can be a blessing in disguise,Rule Downunder and Simply Sweet have been good performers too and this makes it for a very closely fought affair,the former is my personal fancy due to its form and jockey factor

My Choice:#3 Eduardo Win 

Race 3:Limekilns is an youngster with not much of an exposure but is still a serious factor in this race along with Striking Story who was excessively whipped on its first outing this season yet finds a moderate set to tackle now,Dazzle N Daze and Sabiq are two other horses that could try to make a race out of it in my opinion,the latter is coming out of a good race and is a good chance in the third of the day 

My Choice:#4 Sabiq Win 

Race 4:Lord Jim very well last outing and is the frontrunner for this race which again has a small field,Dramarama and Moussaeif ran in the same race with the latter having some advantage and my follow horse Golden Belle who went start to finish last start may benefit with a step up in distance now,Mystic Romance is blue-blood keep an eye.

My Choice:#3 Golden Belle Win 

Race 6:Adam is one of the most consistent horses seen in the western Indian circuit ala Stormtracker,it is clearly one of the best performed horses in the circuit,although there are youngsters in Shivalik Storm and Nuray in the fray it is the another 5yo horse in Trance which according to me is placed well on the scales but with a bangalore based jockey in the saddle looks like a fair chance in the feature of the day.

My Choice:#6 Trance

Race 8:A very open race,Strategic Move wearing the goldie brown is one of the front runners for this race,Valentino has been running some good races especially over the 5f and is in strong contention here,however the presence of horses like Fast Lady,Heart of the City and Eternal Royalty will make life difficult for others,the last named horse did well to win in the lower class earlier this season and ran a decent race last time out has a decent enough chance to do well.

My Choice:#9 Eternal Royalty Win

Race 9:Red Bug who did well to win its maiden race last time out retains the same jockey and is the top contender in this race,horses like Hypothesis and Goldsmith who are still maidens but the former put in a much improved run last time out along with Shivalik Breeze who has a lung opener and is working well on the trial tracks makes this race an interesting affair

My Choice:#7 Shivalik Breeze Win/Place

Hello Friends,                          By the time this post gets completed it would be just an hour or two before racetime,anyways hope it helps those who could read it RACE 1: Multigory: won maiden race in his second start and has won class class 4,class 3 and class 53-79 races subsequently,the last two start winner has hit sublime form and is the one to watch out for Jeanine: A first start winner over 5f to clear maidens has subsequently won class 3 and class 2,pune has been a better hunting ground. Pugnacious: Has age on his side and so are the weights tilted in his favour,on class is a maiden winner,class 4 winner and class 3 winner,hence is the one to beat During the fag end of the season horses who are in form can hope to do much better and with that logic I feel Multiglory should have a big say in the opener Race 3: Forest Fire: A maiden,having second start in class V over extended trip with a + switch in jockey,keep an eye,fair record in class IV Sheer Belie

Pune Races 08/09/2013 Analysis and Selections

Hello friends,                       A card of 8 races have been framed for Sunday,with  The Southern Command Trophy  as the feature event of the day.  Race no 1:A race for horses in class IV (5yo+) over 1400 mts  Matter of heart,Samay Balwan and Star Builder  are the three last outing winners out of the eleven runners in this set,with the former being the winner in the same class and the other two runners are up on promotion. Star builder's  win was pretty easy last time out in the hands of  Dashrath Singh  now on promotion win looks difficult, Samay Balwan  just managed to hold on in the lower class,the same can be said of this horse too  Thus I guess the winner should probably come from this set of horses  Scaramouche,Zaracha,Guns N roses,Brave fighter   Brave fighter  ran third behind  Cypress point  during its only run this season,gets  Trevor Patel  in the saddle,placed well on scales here may spring a surprise  Zaracha  ran second to  Queen's kiss  over 1200 mts,running

Bangalore selections and analysis 27/07

Race no 1: A race for class V horses over 1200 mts On the outset this race looks extremely tricky thanks to the the form? of the runners in this race.  Mountain Train which runs after a long lay-off after its winter adventure looks like a contender here purely based on its track form,but as always its a lottery to assume if the horse after a lay off can put up a winning gallop just after returning or will it need this run? But it is prepared extensively ignore at will That brings me back to two horses which have relatively good form in Will still and Star of desire ,both have reasonable form and the latter a demotee with a switch in jockey has come down a lot in ratings  My choice:#1 Star of Desire for Win  Race no 2:A race for Class V horses over 1200 mts Upper division of the previous race,the field is comprised of many youngsters,here too form is not seen in plenty  Rubi Rey ,which ran in the upper class finished fourth to My Faviurite voice, now drops down in grade with a chance in
