Bangalore Fillies Championship Day 14/06/15 Analysis and Selections

Hello Friends,
                       The Sunday's card for the fillies championship stakes consists of 9 races and here is my analysis and personal fancies for the same
Race 1:For 3yo Maidens over 1200m

A look into the pedigree of Cameron and the track spurts of the same,this horse looks like a very good contender in the opener

Afore,who has had a run benefit in this season over 7f trip is now cutting down in trip and is having a change in saddle support,recents tracks are good.

Ophelia who was withdrawn as one of the favoured horses on debut had a not so good debut however one can be looking forward to an improved performance from the same and as such the horse is prepared well too

Pure Esteem and Downtown Abbey are two other horses who are debutants coming into this race,the former is sired by Epsom Derby winner and cannot be taken lightly however going by the preparations I feel that the horse may need this run,the latter however has been prepared suggestively and is a strong contender in this race

Thus on Pedigree Cameron looks good however I have a feeling that Downtown Abbey cannot be overlooked too and is worth a chance in the opener

My Choice:#6 Downtown Abbey Win

Race 2:For horses in class V over 1600m

Dancing Princess,who is coming down to class V and running at top weight as a filly after having decent shows in the three maiden races it has run so far with a change in saddle support is certainly the horse to look out for in this race,the two things to take into consideration is if the filly can stay the trip carrying the weight.

Three horses are capable of providing a good race to the filly,To The Future,Kings Kid and Love is Life are those,of these three on closer scrutiny I find that Kings Kid can a run a good one here,it has a good run benefit,has a claimer to give it an edge and may like the step up of trip to a mile now and is my personal fancy

My Choice:#5 Kings Kid Win/place

Race 3:For 3yo maidens over 1400m

There are some very good horses in the fray,Q Ed the mumbai import has had two decent runs and is now well prepared for its summer campaign

Also there are two horses sporting the silks of Dr.Vijay Mallya in this race and of the two it looks like Silken Water is having a good chance to improve on its past performances

Glow and Embers and Amethyst are two horses which can further add pep to this race,the latter can be a good outsider in the fray

However,Heaven is Here whose sole run was in the Admiralty's race earlier in the season is now getting a change in equipment and saddle support,the jockey is yet to win a race this season at Bangalore and now gets a very decent chance to break his duck,my personal fancy

My Choice:#8 Heaven is Here Win

Race 4:For 3yo maidens over 1200m

Garuda,who was supposed to run the other day is prepared well after being withdrawn and being his first run after being gelded coupled with good track spurts it is the strong contender in this race

True there are the likes of Blazing Touch,who has a good run benefit Stevelana who has matched good company at calcutta in the fray but it is Forest Hills that appeal here,it has been prepared well and on its second lifetime start it retains the ace jockey and is bound to improve

My Choice:#4 Forest Hills Win 

Race 5:A class III race over 1400m

There are four youngsters in the fray,barring an upset from the likes of Passing Fulcrum,the winner should be in most probability from the youngsters

of the four horses,The Lieutenant has a run benefit in a very good race,gets a change in saddle support and as such is a good contender in this race

Light of Magic and Persian Prince both winners in their last starts also come into the fray as strong contenders,the latter from top stables in the country should put up a good show here in my view and is my personal fancy

My Choice:#5 Persian Prince Win

Race 6:The Fillies Championship Stakes (Gr.1) over 1600m

A lot has been said about Eternal Flame when it ran last time out,its a winner over a mile at Mumbai,a winner at Bangalore too and has a run benefit in Admirality's Juvenile million where it finished fourth after giving weights to its male counterparts,thus it is the horse that shows out as the top contender in this race

Two horses in the fray have had the better of Eternal Flame,New Alliance and Angel Dust,the latter had just got the better off Eternal Flame before EF started to score its string of victories,never the less Angel Dust ran a good race while clearing its maiden ranks and it should do well here on that account

Conspicuous who is unbeaten so far in both its career starts gave weight and a beating to the field last time and on that account looks good here,Let There Be Light and Myrtlewood also have run in that race and both horses are showing good in the track trials after that run

Ageless who is also coming in with good form but no run benefit this season and Nostalgic Memories who has won a mock race in the course of its preperation are good outsiders here

Myrtlewood has too much to do according to paper but i believe she is best over a mile according to her illustrious bloodlines and having had a lung opener earlier in the season this Shroff ward will run a big race and is my personal fancy

My Choice:#9 Myrtlewood Win/Place

Race 7:A class II race over 1200m

Emperor Cruise who is a good sprinter has matched strides with great company including a run in the sprinters cup,a close study on the horse reveals that it has been running with varied tactics.Now this horse has been given to an apprentice after a lung opener in the higher class and is drawn 11,nevertheless can do the trick on sheer class and is one of the stronger contenders in this race

Hidden Soldier and Eternal Desire both have also had tuns in this season and now the former is showing out in the spurts after that run and can play the spoiler role in this race,keep an eye

There are some good horses in the fray Virat,Inquisition and Wind and Flight in the fray of which the former again is coming down from a terms race and with the initial speed it has got will be right there in the thick of things

Eragon,Power of time are the other two horses in the fray who are coming into this race with winning form and as such cannot be ignored,age and weights are with the former and the former is expected to do well here

New Emperor is coming into this race with a good formline having run behind Schiavone and having a good draw and a change in saddle support becomes a very good contender in this race and my personal fancy in what seems to be a very very open affair

My Choice:#8 New Emperor Win

Race 8:A class IV race over 1400m

Festive Cheer and First In Command are two horses that have a switch in saddle support and is being prepared well for a good show in this set,the latter is from Mumbai and is better according to me of the two

There is Colossal Moments who ran quite a good race over a short scurry earlier on in the season and despite the change in saddle support cannot be neglected in this race and is a strong contender

Then there is the debutant (4yo) in Legend of the Sky and another horse who is capable of surprising in Asian Star at the lower end of the scales to make this race interesting

My Choice:#8 First In Command Win 

Race 9:A class IV race over 1100m

Jersey Bride is one of the most interesting out of the gate-Go contenders in the fray,as the race is over its pet distance and having a decent claimer aboard one could expect the horses sheer class to take it home,however it is taking on loads of youngsters and that may have a bearing to the result

Shideh is another 4yo who is showing out in a gate practice,coming into this race with a good win last season and retains the winning jockey and as such is another strong contender here

of the 3yo horses Mr Big Shot,Miss Ceylon and Desert Glit come into reckoning,of these horses the former has a very good switch in jockey support and will be expected quite naturally to do well

However it is Desert Glit that catches the eye due to its track spurts and the change in saddle support and is my personal fancy

My Choice:#7 Desert Glit Win/Place
