Bangalore 13/06/15 Analysis and Selections

Race 1:A class IV (4yo+) race over 1200m

Jeyem's Spirit who sprung a minor surprise last time out is running over a relatively moderate set on promotion and as such is a contender in the opener of the day

Southern Sky was a failed favourite last time out and the horse who came second in that race,Renee had a thumping victory last week and such with Sandesh in the saddle is a strong contender again in this race

True there are horses that can spring a surprise in this set like Cheddar Face,it is the presence of Our Little Dragon that really makes this race very interesting

Our Little Dragon has a history of being in the thick of things all its career, now it gets a set which is seemingly tacklabe and the trainer has gone to a pilot who has won races for him last season in Bhawani Singh and as such stands a decent chance in scoring here,my personal fancy

My Choice:#1 Our Little Dragon Win

Race 2:A class V (4yo+) race over 1200m

On the outset this race looks like a very open race thanks to the scenarios of various horses coming into this race

Both Candice and Battle Empress are demoted and having their first run in the Lower class, the latter especially has a keen jockey on board and is the one of the contenders in this race

Of the other horses the likes of Breakimg Away,Joey are the ones that look like having a good chance, the latter has a good jockey at low weights which is always an advantage and is coming into this race on the back of some good preparation

Then there is Mehrani who looks like the one not to ignored as it has a run benefit....

My Choice:#2 Battle Empress Win/Place

Race 3:For maiden 3yo over 1100m

Dignified,Danburite,Akha Teej and Picture Perfect are the four horses that have a run benefit this season and on all accounts the strong contenders in this race

Dignified who ran a decent second last time out is the one that should be considered as the top contender again

Danburite is drawn no 1 and has a change in jockey,it also drops down in distance and as such should be taken seriously here

Akha Teej ran with the pace in the 1200m race last time out and with 100m less should look to benefit from that experience

Picture Perfect is tracking very well and is bound for second lifetime improvement  and if it does that should be in the thick of things

Despite the draw,I feel that Dignified stands a decent chance to win here in this field from Danburite who might like the cut down in trip

My Choice:#2 Dignified Win

Race 4:A class IV (4yo+) race over 1200m

Forest Tern who is getting a step down in class after its surprise second in the last run during the winter also gets a change in pilot to Sandesh and as such is the very strong contender in this race,of the other horses the last start facile winner Carbonado in the lower class,Major Attraction who is capable of getting the better of weights and Temujin whose sole run this season was not too bad and on the benefit of that run should do well in this set,my personal
Fancy

My Choice:#1 Temujin Win/Place

Race 5:A class II(60+) [4yo+] race over 1200m

Alexandra Mills, the Guinneas winner last winter after having a not so good yet decent Mumbai campaign lost out to the neat Schiavone last time out and on that account is the top contender in this race

The presence of classic hopeful Pure Allure along with Jersey Shore and Pentagram makes this race quite an interesting one

Take the case of Jersey Shore who has a run this season over 6f and the same jockey is repeating, may improve on that effort

Pentagram had displayed a sluggish start last time out and despite the presence of ace jockey have to do extremely well to score here

Thus Merion whose last start was after a lay-off and quite a decent workout after that start is bound to improve in this run, despite having the handicapping bridge to close in,Merion looks like having a chance to cause a minor surprise and is my personal fancy

My Choice:#7 Merion Win/Place

Race 6:A class III race over 1200m

The presence of two calcutta based contenders of which Suzanna the obvious top contender and Goldberg whose form has held well so far after scoring on its very first start and the wider draw of Referent makes this race quite open

Referent whose win was commanding to the eye in the last start gets my first vote,it clocked a good time and will be a hard nut to crack once again

My Choice:#5 Referent Win

Race 7:A class III race (4yo+) over a mile

Havelock Prince who covered good ground in Super Queen's 1200m race now gets winning jockey back on the saddle, top contender in this race

Native Force,Big Ticket and Mystic Music all come into this race with decent credentials, the latter especially was gaining ground in its last run and as such is the strong contender in this race

Zucchero who is still a maiden has placed in a Guineas and has a run benefit in the upper class this season,on demotion with Suraj in the saddle the horse has a decent chance to clear its maiden ranks and is my personal fancy

My Choice:#1 Zucchero Win

Race 8:A class IV (4yo+) race over 1200m

On the outset Zulfiqar who lost out in a blanket finish to Strengthandwonder and getting a change in saddle support over the same distance is a very strong contender in this race

Talentburst,Boysterous and Hidden Deal being other challengers in this race

Boysterous who surprised last time out has a good chance to repeat in this set and is the lone threat to Zulfiqar

My Choice:#5 Zulfiqar Win

DAYS BEST:3-2 Dignified

Good Bets:6-5 Referent,8-5 Zulfiqar

Have a nice day,gamble responsibly
